Chicken Fried Steak, greens and cornbread.

This is hands down the best bbq I have ever had. The collard greens were amazing! Everything was great! Staff super attentive and owner was very nice to us. We found another favorite. I ate leftovers and it was just as tasty and delicious. That should tell you something about the high quality of food served here. Truly well done!

This is hands-down the BEST BBQ my boyfriend and I have ever had! The ribs literally fall off the bone, and when I asked if they had a sweet BBQ sauce for my pulled pork sandwich, they actually made one for me--it was incredible. I would gladly make the 4-hour drive every few months just to satisfy a craving, because nothing else compares. And don't skip the homemade banana pudding--it's a total game-changer! (Fries are like McDonald's but BETTER, so so much better)

Lisa was so friendly and Bob the BBQ master chef was onsite preparing delicious eats. We would've never stopped here, if it wasn't for other peoples reviews. Definitely a little hidden wonderful barbecue place.!! Everything was hot and delicious. Even the coleslaw was the best I've ever had!!

The food this family serves is delish! From brisket, pork and chicken. We make sure we stop here anytime we travel by the restaurant. Desserts are also AMAZING!

Big as Texas 3 meats and 3 sides. We got brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. With sides of potato salad, onion rings and mack n'cheese!!

Very very good brisket, sausage and ribs. Good sauces too. Bring some money because it's not cheap but worth the money.

Typical BBQ place. Small and casual with very good food. Priced a little high. I'll be going back. It's worth a try if you like BBQ.

I started with the pain pill cocktail - their version of a pain killer. It was really tasty. It came in a very tall glass with some cinnamon sprinkle. The pineapple was fresh. While I looked over the menu, she brought out some warm crusty rolls with salted butter. Yummmmm. I was famished so I dug in. They had so many things on the menu I was a bit in information overload. I started with the coconut shrimp, which they say is a house specialty. The dipping sauce was interesting - like a cold coconut milk? The shrimp were butterflied and lightly fried. There is four on the plate. Pretty good. For dinner, I had the fresh catch with mashed potatoes and the zucchini medley. The medley had zucchini. squash, onions and red bell pepper in it. They have other sides like sweet potato as well. You get your choice of two. The entree came with a side salad. It was a small portion. It had some sweet candied nuts on it, with some shredded mixed cheese and a side of their house French dressing. Some of the pieces of lettuce were really long so it was kinda messy to eat. The red snapper was my choice of fresh catch. I asked for it grilled but the other option is blackened. The fish was a good portion. About 6 to 8 ounces. The mashed potatoes were delicious. I enjoyed my meal and I was too stuffed for dessert. But I saw the bread pudding with ice cream at another table. Wow! The scoop of ice cream on that dish was huge! The key lime ice cream pie sounded interesting and I imagine they have a good tiramisu. Next time I'll get dessert. Service was stellar. I was not bothered but I was checked on often for another drink and water etc. plates were cleared often but did not distract me. I really enjoyed being outside because they had a one man band playing guitar and singing so wonderfully. It's a gorgeous setting outside. A bit warm, but I was gross from golf anyways. They do have quite a few fans but I'm glad I was away from them. I hate when I'm trying to eat and it's all I can do to keep my hair from blowing in my face and mouth from overzealous ceiling fans. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked. Parking is a private lot out front and I easily found a space. This place was recommended by a coworker. I am so glad I took her recommendation!

I had a really unique blackened fish (can't remember the name) from the specials menu. It was cooked nice but really, a bit too heavy on the seasonings for me. I almost wish I would have gotten it grilled instead. The side of broccoli and sweet potato were fine, but I don't know the broccoli may have been previously frozen. It just didn't feel fresh to me and that bothers me at restaurants - personal preference maybe. It down poured while we were there but stayed nice and dry, especially since we weren't sitting near the edges of the covered area. Lots of fans kept the air moving and us cool enough and comfortable!

As vegetarians there were ZERO options on the limited menu. The server was super sweet and let us check out the buffet before deciding to stay or not. All the sides were vegetarian and the price of 24.99 each wasn't too bad, so we stayed. The buffet included ham, turkey, fried flounder as the mains, with sides of mashed potatoes, scalloped potatoes, carrots, mixes veggies, Mac and cheese, rolls, corn bread, coleslaw, and roasted potatoes. It also included a small salad bar and about 4 dessert options. There was also Easter candy scattered on the table and plastic eggs to open with treats inside-- making the lunch extra fun! As adults we never get to open easter eggs! We also enjoyed the live music. Five stars, but subtracted one for the lack of true vegetarian options with the limited menu. I did love having walleye though - its not every day you run across that on menus down here in Florida. It was grilled really nice and the side of zucchini and yellow squash was nice too. Our table felt 'cozy' with the little tiki hut roof over it, and our server was on top of things. We hung out for a long time and we were not rushed out or anything.
