The care at Dr. Farshid Paydar's office is very professional. My husband and I have been going to his office for our eye care since 2005 (when we lived in Sedona, AZ. We now live in Prescott Valley & he is still our eye care Doctor, because I do not trust my eyes to anyone except Dr. Paydar. He is wonderful. He did my cataract surgery on both of my eyes (separately) several years ago, and I have had no problems and my vision has been near perfect. He is now doing cataract surgery on my husband's eyes & we feel he is in very good hands. Very poor quality of care. Go ANYWHERE else but here! A whole year of suffering and he's never even checked in on me.

I don't understand why any bad reviews. I have been going to Dr. Paydar for many years, and have never had a problem. I found out about him through a dear friend in Sedona. I went to him because my vision was getting cloudy. He checked my vision thoroughly and said I had cataracts in both eyes. We made two separate appointments for cataract surgery for both eyes. Dr. Pader performed cataract surgery on both eyes. I ended up with severe astigmatism in my right eye. Dr. Pader offered no remedy to correct the issue. After rushing me through my appointment, he suggested that I'd just have to live with it. Very unprofessional, in my opinion. Consequently, I obtained a second opinion from another ophthalmologist and was told that the lens was tilted and could either be corrected or replaced. Why didn't Dr. Pader offer this solution? read more

Eye lids. Left me with a lazy eye. Eye lids don't match. Scaring visible. Go to Phoenix instead.

I see the 5 star reviews and see my experience was not the same. I waited 3 1/2 hours for cataract surgery once I arrived. My paperwork was misplaced the first hour. At one point I was shoved into a dark corner in a wheel chair to wait for the surgery room. Once in the surgery room my eye was numbed but it didn't numb and Dr. Paydar stared to mark my eyeball that was very painful. After surgery I have been left with a very large floater. I do hope no one else experienced what I did. read more

Dr. Paydar is the best eye doctor I've known, and I highly recommend him. He has cared for my eyes as well as my husband's and mother-in-law's. He has performed CK surgery, and double cataract surgery on my eyes, as well as treated an inflamed retina until it cleared up. He is highly skilled, patient, kind, good-natured, and very intelligent. read more
