I wanted to just get an updated eye exam because I needed a replacement contact lens. The exam was covered by my insurance but they added an additional $89 out-of-pocket for fitting which has never happened when I had Aetna PPO, but since Arizona no longer offers PPO through Aetna, I had to change to Blue Cross, Blue Shield Health Choice Pathway and Premier claims the only coverage is for the exam. I was planning to just get the prescription and order a couple of lenses online like in the past, and wasn't going to order the lens through Premier...I felt kind of dismissed and talked into buying it here and paying for a fitting which should be included with the exam, IMO. read more

During my exam, he went above and beyond to understand not only my vision concerns but also how my overall health might be impacting my eyes. For the first time in over two years of dealing with ongoing eye and health issues, I felt truly heard and not brushed aside. Dr. Sanders was on time, attentive, and incredibly compassionate. He took the time to listen, explain, and genuinely care--qualities that set him far apart from the typical medical experience today. His dedication and kindness made a huge difference in my visit. This has been one of my optometry offices since moving to Prescott. At first I saw Dr. Bundy, but he has moved. Since then I've seen both Dr. West and Dr. Stevens. They are each knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. They do sometimes have a longer wait time than I'd prefer. Yet, having someone who knows what they are doing and taking good care of my eyes is important and outweighs the inconvenience of waiting. read more

Most reasonable prices for quality glasses that I've seen in Prescott. I bought 3 pairs!

Dr. Sullivan was great, he was patient and did my eye exam a few weeks ago. 5 stara for the visit! I took that prescription to the sunglass emporium due to not finding a style that worked for me at the office but the sunglasses weren't right for me (hello, base curve of 6?). Sunglass emporium said to get a Persciption check back with the Dr. Here's why I took one star off. The rest of the office has been great up to this point. Receptionists are kind, other associates selling glasses were helpful. I came back to Premier and Shawnee, a younger associate was assigned to help me. He told me I was wearing my glasses (the frame I have had for 8 years) too far away from my eyes and started bending the nose piece! I asked him to stop, because they have fit fine. Any closer and my eyelashes hit the lenses. I explained I want a prescription check but he seemed to think my glasses were fitting wrong and that is causing the issue(mind you these are not the glasses giving me problems) and takes my second more delicate plastic glasses that are every day glasses with hinge issues and starts bending the arms outward--again I ask him not to bend my second pair of glasses. They already have a lose hinge! All I want is a prescription check please. Finally after some back and forth I am scheduled for a prescription check in a few weeks. I am glad I could get one, but I feel like it took a lot of convincing to get the appointment. I do not want someone in the store part of the office bending two pairs of my glasses back and forth that fit fine without my permission. If he didn't just pick them up and start bending them, there would have been no need to reassure me that he wasn't going to break them. I hope to come back and have a better experience next time, and I will be keeping my existing glasses in my purse so they don't get bent. read more

After a rocky start with Premier Eye Care (having to leave two voicemail messages before the second one was returned), I could not be happier! After choosing them because of their convenience to work, their attention to Customer Care and Customer Service made all the difference. After being warmly greeted upon entering the facility, having a great meet-and-greet with Dr. Bundy, and great attention from Mike, one of the sales associates (who made sure I was 100% happy with my frame before finalizing the sale, to the point of hunting down additional frames until I was satisfied with my choice), I was thanked for coming not only by Mike, but one of the female associates that had been helping another customer and, finally, one of the girls on the front desk. 8/04/22-Premier Eye Center-Apologize for the delay in this review. If it wasn't for Dr. West, Linda, Ryan, Zepher, Krista and Heathers' kindness and quick 7 eye tests I may have gone blind, due to the discovery of a Detached Retina. They were simply AWESOME! The tests were easy and painless and the total cost out the door in an emergency was very fair for someone with no insurance. They tried for over 45 minutes to get me into a last second appointment anywhere at the end of the day and were able to get me into Associated Retina in PHX, got there 30 minutes before they closed, only client left in the building. It was well worth the drive and I'm sure it saved me from going blind, now over 3 months later I'm STILL so grateful for their actions. read more

I highly recommend Premier Eye Center and Dr. Jon Bundy. I recently experienced a very sudden problem with the vision in my left eye. When I first called the office I felt like the staff really cared about me. When I described my symptoms, they expedited getting me an appointment. I couldn't believe I was able to get in so quickly! During my appointment, I first went through all of the pre-tests with the technician. This young man was also very professional and very kind and compassionate toward me as he saw that I was starting to get really nervous when I realized how bad the vision in my eye was. When Dr. Bundy examined me, he showed such personal concern for me and talked to me so compassionately, trying not to further alarm me. He was not quick to rush to a decision and was very thorough in explaining my condition and the treatment options. The prescription prescribed to me was expedited at the pharmacy and I had it in hand within one half hour of leaving the office! I was also given a priority appointment to get rechecked within less than a week and was told that if my condition were to worsen that they would get me in even earlier so I didn't have to stress over the weekend. My follow up appointment was equally as positive. I could sense that Dr. Bundy was genuinely personally concerned about me and listened carefully to all my concerns and even offered to do further research to address some of my questions. This is one of the best experiences I've had with any medical treatment in my lifetime. I highly recommend this office. Every person I dealt with there was amazingly kind and caring. Dr Matt Sullivan is awesome. His staff got me in within 6 days after I told them I had a lump on my eyelid. When I got there I was impressed by all the precautions they took regarding Covid. Not only did he diagnose and treat my cyst but performed a complete exam of my eyes. That surprised me because I was "worked" in. Very professional nice staff and he was wonderful in explaining everything. No wait time between testing. I'm so happy to be an established patient of theirs now. Dr. Bundy & the staff are fabulous. I had been having trouble with my eyesight, seeing up close when working with my private music students & sitting at the computer. My husband and I measured the distance where I can't see well = exactly 34". Dr. Bundy wrote a script for this distance. I asked the receptionist about it and she said they cannot make patients wear masks. BS if Sprouts can do it so can a doctor's office. I just wanted to express our thanks to Dr. Bundy for his help last weekend. Our daughter and her boyfriend were visiting from CA. And he works around metals for work. A piece of metal was in his eye, we called Premiere Eye Center on a Saturday morning, and the Dr. left a baby shower and met him at 2:00 to help him with this annoying eye problem. The Dr. took out the piece of metal within minutes and didn't even charge him because it was an easier situation than he originally thought. This would have cost this 26 year old guy a ton of money if he went to an emergency room. This Dr. was so nice to them,and if her boyfriend would have waited that piece of metal would have rusted in a couple days in his eye. Dr. Bundy has provided vision care that is "above and beyond" compared to my experience with many other eye doctors, and I have moved a lot and been to many. His exams are always very thorough---and his treatment for my extreme dry eyes, utilizing a fairly new treatment with tear ducts "plugs", has totally improved my comfort level. He is the first doctor I have been to who has recommended this procedure, compared to most doctors only writing a prescription for daily eye drops. His staff always provide excellent service, from making appointments, to checking insurance, and providing excellent help in selecting frames and fitting. I went for a routine exam and in the process, was sold a tiny bottle of eyelid wash that was presented as something medically necessary. It cost 60.00. It turned out to be nothing more than shampoo for my eyelashes for which other practitioners tell you to use a tiny diluted amt of baby shampoo. I don't intend to use this facility again. read more
