Greenbriar Fuel City - "It's not a public restroom"

I have been patronizing this store since around 2005, and until today I never imagined I would be…read moretreated with such disrespect by an employee. Today I attempted to purchase fuel, but after inserting my card into the pump, I received an "unable to read card" message. This has happened before, and in the past I have gone in to the store and the clerk has simply activated the pump after I provided my card and driver's license inside the store. When I politely explained the issue to the clerk today, I was immediately met with profanity and hostility. She yelled, "Get the *uck out of the store, *uck you, I am not turning the pump on." I calmly tried to explain again that the pump was not reading my card, but she responded, "I don't give a *uck, I ain't turning the pump on." I never raised my voice, used profanity, or behaved disrespectfully toward this employee. Despite that, I was subjected to repeated verbal abuse. When I returned inside after trying the pump again, she continued using disrespectful language and told me that if I "didn't like it" I could go see the owner, Mr. Patel, at the Marathon down the road. I left without purchasing fuel and attempted to contact Mr. Patel at the Marathon location, but was unable to reach him. After nearly two decades of being a customer, I am extremely disappointed by how this situation was handled. No customer should ever be treated this way for simply asking for assistance with a malfunctioning pump. Regardless of price or convenience, I will not be returning to this store. Mr. Patel Sir respectfully I proffer that you should be more cognizant of the employees that you hire to represent you and your business, this obvious trailer park trash that you had working today at Fuel City (no disrespect to people living in trailers intended) is not doing your business any favors Sir. Saving 5 cents on a gallon of gas is not worth the indignity.

Don't stop here! Literally go anywhere but here to spend your hard earned money!…read more My daughter and I went inside to use the restroom while my husband got gas. The first stall had a completely clogged toilet with tons of toilet paper and pee in the toilet. We went to the other stall, but there was no toilet paper so I went back to the first stall to try to get toilet paper, but it would not come out. I went up to the young attendant and asked for toilet paper and he said we might have some and went back and had to go into two places to get it and gave me toilet paper. We used the restroom and my daughter smashed her finger in the door. Needless to say after using restroom and her hand bleeding, we wanted to wash our hands. There was no soap. I went and got some soap off the shelf and used it. I went up to the front and handed it to him and told him what happened and asked if we had to buy the soap and he said yes. So I had to buy Kroger soap for almost $4. There were no paper towels or anything in the restroom either. The men's restroom was closed. Before I walked out I said you need to restock that restroom with paper towels and soap so no one else has to buy necessities. His response was "it's not a public restroom." I replied "we just spend $40 on gas" but actually it was $55.01! Save your hard earned money and trouble for your family and go elsewhere. Side note- the bbq smelled good in there and they were friendly.
