We have spent dozens of hours on the phone to tech support, "Loyalty" (Bell's Orwellian name for billing and customer service), "Escalation Team":, "Escalation Team Manager" and "Internal Services". Bell agents have accused each other of lying; they have said they ordered items for us that in fact were not ordered. Bell has delivered faulty equipment that had to be sent back. They failed to set up the account properly, which led to an Armageddon-like battle between "Loyalty" and "Tech Support", with "Escalation sometimes aligning with one then with the other... Even the "Win Back" team had to weigh in! Frustrating and infuriating do not begin to describe my emotional reaction. Bell has wasted hours of our time and three full weekends. All I need to say about the Merivale location is that, much like the community atmosphere and attitude of the mall it is located in, this team treats you like a person. They help anyway they can and if it turns into a sale, great. If not, oh well maybe next time. And trust me there will be a next time, you will buy from here and when you do actually need a cell phone or home services this will be the first place you think of.

Had to run 4 speaker wires from controller in unfinished basement to the kitchen, which was being renovated and installer told he could cut holes anywhere as needed. Young inexperienced wire puller could not tell me best locations for speakers and ran into issues, so called in Supervisor, who I nearly kicked out of my home for being so rude as I messed up his schedule and he was told the ceiling was open. So we go things wired and when ceiling was repaired 2 gents came in to install the gear. They left a couple of greasy thumb prints on my new ceiling, and didn't have the proper tool to full cut out one speaker hole, which which my contractor completed. I don't begrudge folks making money, but for the few hours of installation effort, I paid just under $1,000 for a simple, non-complex job. And SAV does not take a cut of that I'm told, so contractors are being paid crazy amounts. Should have negotiated this on a per hour basis, perhaps you can.....

One room is set up with a sample of a family entertainment centre, complete with easy-boy chairs, and looks just like what you'd want the movies to be - so comfortable. One set of seats even rumbles and shakes when the movie is showing a bumpy road! Ok, maybe this is a bit over the top for most of us, me included! But can you imagine watching the Olympics here?!! They do sell stereo equipment, but I think their TV selection is their big movers and shakers. Very impressive! I bought a gift certificate there. Very convenient!

So I came in to get my screen fixed, my phone worked great…read more When the screen was fixed, the phone stopped connecting well, and it became impossible to make calls It appears that the antenna was damaged during the repair. I was offered the cost of the repair as a credit for a new phone, which I had to decide on without being able to research it (with no working phone) I accepted, tho it was out of power, so I couldn't verify it would work. It didn't come with the stuff required to charge it so I had to get that too, go home, charge it.... Only to find out this phone was locked, when it was sold and labelled as unlocked. I had to go back again, and they exchanged it right away, and it didn't cost more, but all in all it was a mixed experience. The repair effectively bricked my phone - so getting credit for the repair, rather than for the phone itself felt like I was worse off for having come here. Then I had to fork over more money to get a new phone, which I obviously would have been better off doing in the first place instead of trying to get this repaired. I had to buy a phone without researching it, and even then it didn't work right away. The second error with the unlocked phone was a minor one, but compounded with the whole repair-wrecking-my-phone, it felt like a lot of hassle, low value, and not a great arrangement. I'm sure other people will have better experiences, but its hard for me to say it all went super well.
