    Home grown tomatoes
    Todd P.

In the northern part of the country, this would be a nice small town farmers market but in AZ, it has something huge going for it during the vegetable growing season. Fresh home grown tomatoes and other veggies. Hydroponic veggies are tasteless. A wonderful tomato grown in the dirt yells summer. We make a once a year run to Payson during August to stock up on yummy veggies.

Beautiful kale, sweet onions, and lemon meringue pie at today's market.

Farm fresh produce was awesome to see. Can't wait to try the peaches! Will go again and see if vendor change or are the same.

Traveling carnival,...take lots of money because everything is overpriced. Go to Wal Mart or any grocery store for way better prices.

July 2025…read more McClendon's...My Saturday morning addiction! If you know, you know...and if you don't know McClendon's yet, let me be the one to lovingly shove you in their direction. I've been shopping with them for years, mostly at the Uptown Farmers Market, and it's become a non-negotiable part of my weekend routine. Their fruits and veggies? On another level. I'm just telling you that once you taste their organic produce, it ruins the grocery store for you. I'm not being dramatic...okay maybe a little...but seriously, everything just tastes better. The carrots are sweeter, the citrus is brighter, and don't even get me started on the herbs. Fresh. Fragrant. Plentiful. I buy more than I need every time because I can't help myself. My fridge is so happy to be filled with all the herbs! It makes cooking seem way less like a chore and more like something wonderful that I get to do! The team is always kind, helpful, and genuinely happy to be there. You feel good shopping with people who care about what they do. Bonus? I actually spend less money here than I do at the store. Significantly less and for a much higher quality of food! It's wild. Totally worth the drive! Bottom line: McClendon's is the gold standard of Arizona farming. Your taste buds will thank you. Your wallet probably will too.

She was friendly, welcoming, and truly made our visit memorable. The market has an amazing selection of hot foods and desserts, and everything we tried was delicious. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food and customer experience. My only tip is to go early because the popular items go fast! Definitely a must-visit while you're in Sedona.

When entering we encountered there new shopping carts that basically take weight of everything you put in the cart as you shop and tally up the amount of items you have and before exiting you pay and then leave. Well we did not trust that option and it did not seem anyone did because every cart was there and all shoppers were taking the regular small carts. Upon entering the store seemed very clean and smelled like BBQ food right away. Just like all standard food chains they have their deli with cooked foods, cheeses, meats, cold cuts, sandwiches already made as well. They had a good size produce department , still selling all lettuce that has been on the news with its issues . No signs about purchasing the ready made bags of lettuce just like nothing is going on. They had an entire department for Wines and liquor that was very nicely laid out as well. Prices here are much higher. After finding everything we needed we went to the cashier open. I asked her, are many people using those shopping carts that ring up all the groceries? She replied? No, our manager here is a tech nerd and does not understand our demographic, she then went on to explain that she wished they would work because she hates her job because she's not a people person and does not like to talk to people and she would be more than happy to loose her job. I in return told her that I appreciated her anyway took our groceries and left

The cornfield ready for harvest is only accessible via the little train. We'll try the corn harvest again next year. We ordered food and drink and ate it out in the shade of the patio. The grandma's homemade pie was raw on the bottom. The rest of the pie was delicious, though! The sourdough peanut butter & strawberry jelly sandwich really hit the spot after walking all the way out and back to/from the cornfield in the warm sunshine. We bought frozen meat and frozen dessert pies to stock our home freezer. Mortimer Farms is a beautiful place to enjoy the outdoors.

They had crops of many vegetables you could go and pick. The restaurant inside of the farm was very busy but we still got our food quickly. Veggie burgers were very tasty. Grilled veggies on the bun. Roasted corn was absolutely a delight, very sweet. Watermelon lemonade was good as well. The farms itself is very unique and you can easily spend 2-3 hours waking around. You can pick fresh produce yourself or you could buy from their farm market. They do have few animals you could touch and ride a horse (I believe only children). Overall great experience if you are looking for what to do. Unless I would be buying produce I would not come here over and over. Pretty much one time experience but definitely a good one.
