I did not request tires but 2 were installed on my car. My OK, tires, disappeared! Now I have one Hercules front tire and one ROADTOUR with smiley faces on them. Rejects maybe?? This place runs the biggest auto repair Scam ever.!! I took my Toyota in to have a rear window 'put back on the window regulator track' that had slipped off. They said they would charge me $149 to have a look at it. I said okay. They called me later and said I need a [new] window regulator for a total cost of $702. Which is BS. Because I know what it needed ...... 'NOTHING' .... except put the window back in its place on the regulator track, that's it.! I told them I'm not paying that kind of ridiculous money, and to 'just forget it, I'll do it myself'. When I got home, I took the door panel off and I noticed that "no one had been inside the door at all", because all of the plastic seal inside, had not been touched at all. They didn't do anything. They didn't even open up the door panel to look inside. They charged me $149 just to run the window regulator up & down a few times. What a rip off.!!! After I got home, I took the door panel off and fixed it myself in one (1) hour, utilizing the existing window regulator. "NOT a new regulator as they said I needed". The window had just slipped off the track (as I told them) and just needed to be put back in place on the track. A one (1) hour job". What a rip off. It was my first time there and I'll never go back. I was hoping they'd be a good source for auto repair on all my vehicles - but NO. Right Brian my mother originally came in for a steering wheel leak and you never addressed that did you but felt tires were "most urgent need" You instead wanted to sell her tires, which is your bread and butter. She was stuck as you switched her tires on her. You never showed her a pic as your manager said he had. You keep talking about video and audio how about a preauthorization for work like many automotive places do? You also state she discussed financing because she has no money and you say she filled out financing "with assistance" Your words! So, Brian you had to assist her with filling out the financing. What a nice guy to help 85-year-old women to get credit cards to pay you for tires she did not come in for. You never talk about the 471.00 she turned down but later came back to do. You took her home and kept her car for 3 or 4 days. She stayed home those days so really needed her car back. When the car was done it was 2700.00 and you never addressed this part in your reply. How did 471.00 turn into 2700.00? And you again assisted her with filling out a credit card because she did not have the money. Would love to see where my mother authorized that 2700. when she only came in for a steering wheel leak. Put that in a reply please. You need to stop helping the elderly fill out credit cards. I didn't know where to take it to have checked so when I got to my office, I asked my colleague and she referred me to Payson Tire. I was planning to run over there but after a hour or so my tire was completely flat. I was starting to stress about how I was going to get my tire off to take to them, do I have a spare, etc...... I called Payson Tire and they had someone out to check and repair/replace it within the hour! I was very impressed by the service. Not only were they fast but also reasonably priced and honest. I was traveling through and needed a tire repaired. After calling a few shops that wouldn't make an appointment, I found Payson Tire Pros. I made an appointment and they were waiting on me when I arrived. There was a comfortable waiting area and my stay was brief, but enjoyable. Unfortunately, my tire was damaged and couldn't be repaired, nor did they have a replacement on the premises. I had to keep going on my travels, but there was zero charge for the young man who removed the tire from under the vehicle, examined it, and replaced it with a smile. Thank you Payson Tire Pros! Had a little tire problem today in my way back to Chandler. The left outside rear tire (dually) pulled off the rim because a curb jumped out at my truck as I was turning left. . Bu that isn't the purpose of the post. I pulled into Tire Pros and spoke with the owner (found out later) and told him what happened. He immediately said "let me take a look". He took a look and said "oh I think I can fix you up". He did and filled the tire up. I asked, "what do I owe ya?" He said "nothing" I said "come on, Venmo?" (I didn't have cash), he said "no, is ok". It wasn't about not charging me, but that he knew I needed help and he was eager to help. That's all. Seems simple but not a lot of places "get it" anymore. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially if you are traveling through. We brought our vehicle here thinking we might be having troubles with our brakes. They ended up quoting us over $3000 for brakes, rotators and calipers. I called every other mechanic to get pricing over the phone for this and every single one was under $2000 for all of this. When we were picking up our vehicle, they kept pressuring us to have them do the work and they will do a lower price. They asked us to get written out quotes from the other businesses, just so they could price match. We told them, Why would we make another business write out their quote just so they can't get the business? Their only response was to trash talk the other mechanics and say "I guess we have to let you go then". We brought our vehicle to another mechanic, to which they called and said "Who told you, you need all of this done? Your brakes are perfectly fine and everything else with it. What needs to be replaced are your shocks and two suspension components." I'm starting to think these guys didn't even bother looking at the vehicle and just threw a quote at us because we assumed it was the problem. These guys are INCREDIBLY UNTRUSTWORTHY. I never thought the common misconception of mechanics was true, but man these guys are a prime example. What shocks me even more is seeing a woman writing a similar review below. I can not say enough good things about payson tire pros. I was on my way back from up north to mesa and as I drove into payson my ABS and break light turned on. This was Friday around 4:00 pm. I quickly looked for a place to fix it. I called many places with a - we are closing. I called payson tire pros and they said come in. They checked out my truck and found the problem. There were a few. They ordered the parts but all the stores were closed by then. They are closed on Saturday but Jeff and Ian volunteered to come in. They worked all day on my truck. They finished with all the issues around 3:00. When they finished the fuel pump went out and was leaking. They both had plans but would not stop until they got me on the road so I could get home to my daughter. This meant so much to me. These guys are amazing and i hope they hear about it. They stayed until they had the other issues fixed. I am now home. I'd like to give thanks to the owner who I met Friday night at the shop and without hesitation offered me a loaner car so I could get to a hotel. On our way back from Texas to California, we had a slow leak on one of our 40' toy hauler's wheels. Stopped at 3 gas stations who claimed their air was broken which was hard maneuvering this beast around. We stopped here for some help. We were immediately greeted and helped. They offered to use a portable air tank so we wouldn't have to back into the shop with the trailer. When the portable air tank couldn't deliver the amount of PSI we needed, they fired up a service truck and got us on our way. We were heading back from Big Lake and just outside of town one of our shackles on the top of our axles broke, my husband was able to chain it off to be able to make it into town. I called around to several places but they were all full, one did recommend Payson Tires. Gave them a called explaining what happened and they were very professional, told us they could repair it the next day as long as parts were available. They were done early the next day and even noticed that one of our tires on the 5th wheel were bad and offered to work with Big O because they were under warranty! Beware : These guys seem to have too much work going on which can leads to over charging . No big deal if the customer doesn't get a good value . Low quality parts at the highest profit margin . If you provide your own parts they will not warranty the work. If they provide the junk parts they will only provide their suppliers warranty and not warranty their labor . Eric came to our rescue after having a blowout on our 5th wheel. We were south of Payson and it was a Sunday. Unfortunately our way north camping 2 days earlier we had a blowout on another tire so we were left without a spare on tires less than a year old at approximately 1800 miles on them. These guys are awesome! I've heard from friends about the great experiences they've had here and after my bad experiences at another shop, I decided to go to them for a bumper install. The owner Brian was extremely helpful and took the time to listen to what I wanted then CJ did the install. I was extremely happy with the end result!!
