We started calling places that possibly could work on the car, left a lot of messages, nobody could even look at the car until Thursday of that week. Mobile Auto Repair returned our call the very next morning saying they could look at the car at 9:00 am. Danny arrived and soon determined that the coolant reserve tank had a broken nozzle. He went to O'Reilly's and got a new tank, replaced it in the vehicle, made sure there were no leaks or bubbles in any lines, and we were on our way. His pricing was very fair for labor plus parts, plus he was there when he said he was going to be! I wouldn't hesitate to call him for assistance for any of my auto repairs. Thank you again Danny!

That guy was amazing. On the morning of Tuesday October 15th we called Adams Tow Company to pick us and our truck up and take us to their shop . They did arrive promptly and towed us to their shop. Over the phone He quoted us $300 for a trip and then upon arrival to the shop we were told the amount would be $420 ($10 a mile and $125 service fee) even thought he knew how far we had to go and he still ended up , up charging us. He's attitude was very unpleasant the entire time. As we arrived to the shop we had to wait awhile for the mechanic to arrive since he was in flagstaff picking up parts and an alternator for us. Now he was good. He got the alternator installed quickly and did an amazing job. But we were definitely not happy with the towing aspect of the company and his up charge. I would highly recommend Adam's Automotive repair shop but not recommend their towing service.

We went over the issues & pricing for the work to be performed. Tuesday 12/9/25, I called Jeff to discuss availability & when I could bring my truck in. I was told Monday morning. Monday 12/15/25, I delivered my truck first thing in the morning & went over the symptoms again. I was told I would be called the following day with an update. Tuesday 12/16/25, After not receiving an update, I called & spoke with Justin (General Manager). I was informed that they were not able to duplicate the problem during a cold start, to which I replied that the issue happens during a warm or hot start. This was already thoroughly discussed several times. I was told that the Service Manager had failed to provide that information. Justin then pulled up my work order on the computer & found that yes, the information had been documented in detail. Again, I was told that I would be contacted the following day with an update. Wednesday 12/17/25, After not receiving an update, I called to learn the status of my truck. Justin informed me that Eric test drove my truck to Paulden & back to bring the engine up to temperature. He also allowed the truck to idle in the parking lot for an extended period & that there was no starting problem. I was told I would be called the following day with an update. Thursday 12/18/25, After not receiving an update, I once again called to find out the status of my truck & spoke with Justin. I was informed that they had yet to find the problem. During several of these calls, I was asked if this vehicle was my daily driver, to which I replied that it was & the repairs should be as prompt as possible. Friday morning, 12/19/25. I arrived at Action Automotive prior to the business opening. I found my truck in the front parking lot near the street where it had been stored overnight. Both doors were left unlocked. Furthermore, upon opening the rear hatch, I found my tools scattered across the bed of the truck. I have driven that truck in excess of 100K miles with those tools in the back & have never found them out of place. Someone had to drive my truck fairly hard to accomplish that. According to the odometer reading, the Paulden test drive story was pure fabrication. I went into the office to inform Justin that I would be taking my truck home after what I had found, as I no longer had any faith in this shop. This generated a profane tantrum from Justin, attempted intimidation & the refusal to return my vehicle key. The key was eventually "located" & returned. The original starting problem reoccurred the following day. EDIT: REPLY My truck's doors were left unlocked overnight(s) in an unsecured parking area near the main street. The tools in my truck were scattered across the bed by an aggressive driver. The odometer reading proves that the Paulden test drive story is false. You were not there & the story your son is telling you, is also false. There is a recurring theme in the negative reviews you've received. Very revealing how the common reply is to deny, deflect & initiate a personal attack upon the customer.

I had an awful experience with this shop and would not recommend them to anyone. I brought my car…read morein to have the transmission rebuilt. The owner called me and said it was the worst possible scenario and would cost the highest price they charge. I trusted them and paid the full amount, hoping to have a reliable car again. The car drove once and then wouldn't start. When I called to report the issue, they immediately tried to blame me--saying it must have been something I did. It turned out the computer programming (which they outsourced to another company across the street) was done incorrectly. I had to pay out of pocket to tow my car back to them, and the owner refused to reimburse me, arguing with me the entire time. They kept my car for another full week. When I finally picked it up, it started--but the A/C no longer worked, even though it was working perfectly before. When I called, the owner dismissed it and said it was just a "coincidence" that it went out at the same time. Every time I brought up a concern, he backpedaled to avoid responsibility. Later, a mechanic inspected the A/C and said it looked like parts were broken--right around where they would have installed the battery. On top of that, the incorrect programming kept frying my battery, and I had to buy two replacements. When I got my car back the second time, the brackets for the battery weren't even reinstalled--they were just left on the floor of the car. The final straw was when I noticed greasy, oily handprints all over the inside roof and visor above the driver seat. When I called to ask about it, the owner responded sarcastically with: "You're upset about a little dirt inside the car?" He was incredibly rude, did poor-quality work, broke things, and refused to take accountability for any of it. To this day--five months later--my car still isn't fully repaired. It continues to have issues, but I'm too afraid to bring it back to them even though I have a warranty through their shop. That's how little trust I have in them now. I ended up having to take out a second loan and buy a new car because I had already paid everything I had to fix this one--and they left me with an unreliable mess. This place caused more damage than repair and has zero professionalism or integrity. Avoid them at all costs.
