My favorite wine of the day
    Kellee B.

I'm so happy I ended up adding this winery to visit while wine tasting on the Placer wine trail. Their property was absolutely stunning especially as the weather is cooling down and fall begins. We were the first to arrive at their tasting shed so it was nice to have that one on one service and learn more about the winery and their grapes. My absolute favorite wine was the Tinta. It was a light red wine that was so smooth and delicious. I had to buy a case!

My friends brought me here, appt they been here before, this place is such creatively made, someone decided to make a tasting shed next to their house on their vineyard. I love how it is secluded from everything, the staff took time to explain wines , that is nice, the wine is wonderful, the views are amazing. Planning to return sometime!

This is my favorite winery on the Placer Valley Wine Trail!! I went with a friend and we had the whole place to ourselves! We sat under the trees in Adirondack chairs overlooking the entire winery. It was simply perfect for a tasting! I really enjoyed the wine too and I appreciate learning about the different ways of how they age the wine, which greatly affects the flavor!

A little tricky to find but just keep driving on what seems and probably is a 1 lane long driveway / road that opens up to a parking area. Then stroll up to the super cute lean-to and peruse your options and order. Once your order is ready, you can sit at a little table looking towards the vineyard or some other tables by the order area or walk a few steps down and lounge on the wooden chairs s lined up under the trees that is mere steps to the vineyard. You can get a good look at the vines and grapes. Note.... don't touch. We tried all five wines. They were interesting and not your typical / common varietals. I would suggest bringing snacks and enjoying a little picnic out here. Such a lovely setting!

Beautiful view from the patio that overlooks the vineyard. Breathtaking!

Such a cute tasting patio area with an exceptional view! Wine was amazing and service was so friendly! It makes you not want to leave (even on a cold and rainy day!). Definitely make this a stop on your wine tour!

This is still my favorite winery on the Placer Wine Trail. The wine continues to impress, the owners are welcoming and I love that you can bring your own food. The vineyard views are amazing which always makes it difficult to leave!

Hands down best winery in our area!!! Wine is fantastic and the staff makes you feel like family! Not to mention the view! It is a must on the Placer Wine Trail!

Super cute quaint place! Family owned and the wine tastes great!! It takes a little bit of gravel road to get to it but there's signs pointing to the tasting room. The tasting area is more like an outside bar and the owner who serves you is really nice!! Tasting flight was only $7 and you get that $7 back if you buy a bottle!

It's tough for me to love Placer County wine, but PaZa is doing their best to convince me. Placer is new new world wine still trying to find the best grapes and techniques in a hot and dry climate. PaZa is a bit off the Wine and Beer Trail, but they are very unique. Parking is decent, but could get tight when crowded. The winery is gorgeous. You park at the main house and walk down a path to the outdoor tasting bar. Said bar overlooks the winery and the surrounding ranches. Be sure to look among the cute seating areas for the rattlesnake warning sign and the notice to not photograph the neighbors. The wine was pretty good on my visit with a small, but great selection. It can be a little tough on a hot day to stand outside. Fortunately they have several ice chests to keep the wine at good temperature. It does make for a fun backyard feel. If it's a good day, I recommend heading to PaZa for some al fresco vino. Their rustic and scenic setting is a nice departure from the hustle and bustle of Lincoln and Loomis.

I hadn't heard of this winery, but saw it on the map and headed over. We had such a great afternoon here! The owners were so friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience. The ground are relaxing and pretty, and it was easy to social distance. Oh, and good wine! We will definitively be back!

    Delicious wine. Pretty label.

Visited PaZa Winery in late-June 2021. Nice outdoor setting,, welcoming hosts, and lovely view too. Liked their wine samples. Bought a bottle there, see photo.

Hats off to anyone that is willing to stay outside wearing a mask in 105 degree heat. My sis and I braved the elements with the promise of warming the spirits and the soul with a few glasses. We shared the flight for the reasonable price of $13 and were able to try 4 different wines. Wish I was smart enough to take a pic of the flight basket, but I guess that will be a reason to visit again. The property is lovely, with plenty of space and the wine is sure to be a crowd pleaser. We had to bring a bottle of the 2016 Barbera home with us!

The 5k was fun, we got to run the paths around the property, the views were awesome, the path was clearly marked with flags & arrows, at the finish line we celebrated with a glass of wine and a cool medal. I would definitely recommend both the winery and the 5k, what a fantastic experience.

Sharon told me they weren't required for wine tastings or wine by the glass. only for dining. However, when we arrived, the hostess said outdoor seating required reservations. Since my husband is injured, we couldn't take a bottle down to the lower outdoor area she suggested. She eventually seated us in the courtyard, but after waiting 15 minutes, we were only served water. We waited another 10 minutes and no one ever came to take our drink order, while the table around us was attended to multiple times. I hate to bring race into it, but as a brown couple, it honestly felt like we were treated differently. We came excited to experience the Placer Wine Trail and enjoy the beautiful views, but we left feeling unwelcome and disappointed.

This tasting room is looking to provide high quality service that people would expect from more established wineries and they are doing it right. I've been here 4 times by the time of writing this review and the experiences have all been fantastic. All the staff really do invest in the guests. Very knowledgeable about the wine and dishes. They take the time to really break down the wine and food if you don't know your stuff like me. They check up on you frequently! I really enjoyed the Carmenere wine. It's not as dry and is easily palatable for people who don't usually prefer red wines. I'm not super knowledgable in wine, but the flavors were earthy and slightly dark fruity taste. Some nights they have live music or events to meet the owners. Can't wait to see how the vineyard turns out if this is just a sneak peak of what's to come!
