I didn't know I was buying a Rolex? So rude and the guy couldn't even care to give us the time of day. I totally get you want supporters, but I definitely will drive an extra 10 miles or order direct from my wine club for wine. The crazy part is I was referred here! We decided to come down the street to House of Oliver, and Josh took care of us. Welcoming and very friendly. I was able to enjoy a glass of Caymus, go figure.

I loved that it was a smaller winery on an organic farm with gorgeous views and excellent service. It is a short 5 min walk up a gravel/dirt road from the small parking area to the tasting area so ladies may want to avoid heels (our sandals were just fine). The couple that owns the winery were so personable, loved that he brought out each of the tastings and chatted with us about the wine & farm origins, while his wife made the biscotti & gave us all samples to try - yum! The tasting was so reasonably priced and I couldn't believe a personal charcuterie board was included too. Of course, the wine was all very good and we purchased some bottles to take home. I only wished we could have stayed longer than the two hour time limit (based on space).

Unfortunately, it turned into one of the most disappointing tasting room visits we've had. The biggest issue was the complete lack of hospitality and awareness toward an older woman in our group recovering from knee surgery. There was no accommodation, no concern, no acknowledgment whatsoever. Instead of any table service or attentiveness, we repeatedly had to get up and walk inside the tasting room over and over for every single pour. By the end of the tasting, we got more steps in than a cattle drive. The two ladies working behind the counter looked like they were counting the minutes until closing time. No smiles. No energy. No effort to educate us about the wines, engage with guests, or make anyone feel welcome. We honestly felt more like an inconvenience than paying customers. I've seen friendlier expressions on bulls during branding season. What makes this especially frustrating is that the tasting room wasn't even busy -- there were maybe three other couples there besides our group. This wasn't staff being overwhelmed. It simply came across as lazy, disengaged, and rude service. The only thing flowing less than the hospitality was the wine pours. What surprised us most is that we've visited several other local wineries in the area over the years and have consistently experienced warm hospitality, friendliness, and genuine customer care. So this experience really stood out -- and not in a good way. Usually wine country feels welcoming. Here, we felt like a herd that wandered into the wrong pasture. Such a shame because the location and concept have so much potential, and we really wanted to support a local winery so close to home. Sadly, our guests left just as disappointed as we did. I heard about Williamette from a friend and a group of use decided to try the wines and ordered appetizers from Scott's. The wine and food pair wonderfully together. This is delicious Oregon wine. Who knew Oregon had such a fantastic wine? It's definitely up there and not to be slept on for sure. I ordered the Owner's flight which were Pinot Noir's they were amazing . We got 2 bottle of Blossom one was a Rose which I highly recommend and the other I can't remember, but it was so refreshing. The tasting room is beautiful and spacious. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well. Chantel and Jen were amazing very friendly and accommodating. They are the best!! Before I left I did end up purchasing a bottle of Late harvest Riesling and bottle of sparkling Muscat. If you never been you have got to check them out. It's a great experience for sure. :)
