They always took a long time to get stuff done, overcharged you, and often the problem wouldn't be resolved. I tried to get in touch with them a couple months ago to get my PC fixed anyways and couldn't even get a call back despite leaving several messages and someone responding here on Yelp saying they'd be in touch with me after I left a question asking if this place was still open. My husband and I will NOT be going back to PC Fix. The person we dealt with was rude and does not know the meaning of customer service. Our computer was in the shop for several days with no word from PC Fix. After 4 days I called the shop to check on the status of our computer and was told in a snotty voice that " I had been texted". I'm always having computer issues. I am one of those people who knows a good deal about computers yet somehow i end up with virus's, computer crashes, something suddenly stops working, blue screens, etc. I use to go to a PC repair shop in Bellevue, but now that i don't live there anymore i don't go to it. So when my PC was on the fritz, i saw this place and thought to try it. To my surprise i was happy to see my old tech from Bellevue works there now. So a plus for a friendly face that knew me and my PC problems. Thanks to him I saved more money taking my computer here than if i had bought a new computer all together or if i had thought it was a motherboard issue but turned out to be a hard drive issue. This place will save you so much of your time than if you try to figure it out yourself! I've learned a lot thanks to people working in this business. PC Fix is professional, friendly and the quality of service was exceptional! I was treated with respect as David went over with me step by step of whats wrong with my computer, what they can do, how much it will be, how long it will take for replacement parts to come in, how fast it will take, how far am i on the list of orders, etc! I get updates on my computer via email and phone of how my computer is coming along, when i can pick it up, if something suddenly happens and they find something else wrong with it or if the USPS decided not to deliver my computer part on time, David or Tim would inform me about what was happening. If you are worried about them trying to scam you into more money, these guys don't. I got my blue screen problem fixed but i was told my graphics card is having issues with my last visit. They gave me advice on what i could do, told me it wasn't a major problem for now and didn't force me to get it done by them on that day. Simply wonderful! I didn't feel pressured at all and they also gave me advice and what to look out for next time i'm having problems! So i was able to purchase a new graphics card with their recommendations on my own. Besides fixing computers, they can also take a look at video game consoles or printers. Even my switch they said! I take good care of my gaming systems but that's nice to know i can at least let them look at it before investing in another one. Just something for you to take into consideration when bringing in your computer, they are a small shop. Only 3 men, sometimes only 2 people are there at a time. They can get busy but will always be honest with you about how long its going to take. If you drop your computer off when they aren't busy, then it will be fixed faster. If you drop your computer off say on holiday weeks or busy days, it will take longer. This isn't a big company so give them time. They know what they are doing. Also they can retrieve deleted photos and videos off of my corrupt hard drive when i had an accident! I only had to do this once. David informed me that sometimes not everything can be saved and wont know what there is to be saved till he looks at it, so i should always have a backup of my irreplaceable stuff. So now i have a 2nd drive for all of my photos and videos. I was happy to he saved them! Oh one more thing to note which i havent had experience with yet but if i was ever unavailable to come into the shop, they can make a appointment to come to my home to fix my computer or to set something up. I thought that was nice to note. It feels like a professional company when you can get service at the shop or at home. It does cost more but if i ever couldn't make it in, this would be great. I was told they have another shop down in Ballard too so they can travel almost anywhere. The only bad thing about this shop is its location and parking. The parking lot is tiny. Thankfully QFC is right next to it so i can drop off my computer and shop for food at the same time. Overall, After seeing David for about 4+ years and now going to this shop, i give them 5/5 stars for their service. Thank you PC Fix for such wonderful customer support and techs. read more

I was going through a lot of personal stuff in my life and when my computer decided that it didn't want to work (no output and no usb functionality) instead of trying to fix it myself I decided to just pay the $50 and see what PC Fix could do about it. I got a call a few days later that everything was working. David (the employee) said he cleaned my cpu and put some new thermal paste on it and it has been working ever since it. He helped me on the phone, then when I brought it in, he helped me across the counter FOR FREE. I had to bring it back to them for a faulty cable diagnosis (no fault of theirs) and Alan took care of it at once, so I was able to pick it up and plug it in the same afternoon. I recently used PC Fix in the wake of my daughter dumping an entire cup of coffee on my laptop. The staff was very friendly, helpful and did a great job expediting the cleaning. I would have given them 5 stars but they could have done a better job of keeping me informed of what was going on with the process. They said they would call and tell me what they were going to do and I had to repeatedly call to get updates. I was however pleasantly surprised by the cost. I was expecting it to be much more expensive because of the expediting but it was very reasonable. read more

The staff was nice but they didn't address all of the issues I mentioned when I brought our computers in (they were not thorough and they didn't listen). I ended up making 4 trips to their office. Their charges seemed a bit outrageous as well. One of our keys was broken on our laptop and they said it would cost $100 to fix. When I got the laptop home I ordered a new keyboard from amazon for $8 plus shipping and put it in in lest that 5 minutes. I am not a computer whiz by any means. Anyway, I was not impressed. I brought in my PC that I was trying to build myself. They got it working, installed my OS and everything works great, however, when I downloaded Mozilla and then went to check my email and Ebay I got a TON of pop up ads. I'm not saying they put anything there, but after I re-installed my OS I've had no problems. Why could I install my software and have no adware but yet when they did it I got a ton of popups. Also, I noticed when I went to my Control Panel I noticed multiple programs that are not part of Windows. Again, I'm not saying they added anything, but it is very odd that I had all these popup ads. They got the machine put together and the inside of the case looks great, but I will never go back to them again. I'd always have that in the back of my mind....did they or didn't they? read more

I had several old laptops and cell phones to dispose of. True to form, I waited until they were too old to have any resale value. What to do? I called PC Fix in Issaquah and was told I could bring them in and have them recycled at no charge. Upon bringing them in, it took David only minutes to take the hard drives out of my old laptops. He was friendly and efficient. He explained how to disable the hard drives and advised me on how I could get my current laptop upgraded. I took my laptop to these guys and they placed a new hard drive in it and said it was fine. They saved all my programs (which is why I gave 2 stars) and charged over $300 for this. Thought it was all fixed until the Hard drive would attempt to update every day and then fail to do so after waiting around a long long time for it to finish. Also, now none of my Microsoft office programs work as well as all my photo edit programs. I get about 8 messages on boot up that these programs are all now causing errors and unable to launch any longer. I tried to call these guys over and over to tell me what is going on and none of their phone numbers would work. I then emailed them and asked what is going on and they apologized that they were having "phone issues." Emailed them again and have tried to call them over and over again but looks like these "phone issues" are continuing. Will be paying these guys a visit to get a refund and then will never take my equipment there again. read more

Went in for a very easy fix that shouldnt take to long - just getting a fan replaced on my laptop. They said it would be ready soon. It took 2 weeks. I called multiple times to see if it would be ready soon and they always said "in a couple days" which to me means maybe 2 days... So after 4-5 days I would check in again and get the same answer. So there was no warning that this simple fix that should have been easy and quick would take 2 weeks (the sign inside said most fixes take 3 days). This is my work computer so of course it was a huge hassle having a simple fix take so long - I would have taken it somewhere else if they had been upfront and told me it would take 2 weeks. Then I get the laptop back finally - the side of it is all bent out and the left mouse button on the laptop is busted now. So they fixed the fan but busted the mouse button and side of my laptop. I brought it back in to show them the damage it took while in their care - they just shoved the bent side of the laptop into place and ignored the broken mouse button. Didnt even apologize for breaking the mouse button. So they didnt fix the damage they did, didnt apologize for it, and still charged me full price for a fix that took 2 weeks and resulted in another part of the laptop getting busted. When I got home 2 of my usb ports next to where the laptop case was bent by them no longer work, so it seems they must have damaged that somehow when they forcibly shoved it back into place. I would not trust them with your computer equipment. I wish I hadnt trusted them with mine. read more

They are so good I haven't needed them in a very long time. The fixed our home computer, installed new motherboard . I was gravely concerned about losing the thousands of photos, they advised me back up everything! If I ever need them again would not hesitate . Just used their services this past week for daughter's MacBook Pro! The genius bar tried then they said I would have to send it in along with $475.00!!! PC was able to quickly diagnose and fix it at a fraction of what Apple was going to charge! PC Fix Issaquah really impressed me yesterday: Our desktop computer stopped booting up. Dropped it off at PC Fix, got a call about it needing a new power supply at $60 plus labor within 2 hours and was able to pick it up on the way back from work the same day! Their great receptionist even braved the rain to put it in my car and the owner grabbed me a free power cord off the rack on the way out. Great local, personable service from people that care that is a far cry from Best Buys Geek Squad. I will be using and recommending PC Fix for all computer repairs from now on. My Lenovo X220 laptop wasn't getting power from the power cable. When I brought it to PC Fix Issaquah, they diagnosed the problem quickly and for free (faulty power cable). I didn't have them fix it because I can easily order a new power cable on my own. I only gave them 4 stars because the problem was very simple - it was not challenging. Their service was excellent. For what it is worth, I have been a customer many times at a different PC Fix store in Seattle. There service was also excellent. What I like is that they try to save money for the customer - they don't seem to recommend that option that makes them the most profit. read more

All the reviews are glowing and I wish we had an opportunity to experience their service. Unfortunately for us and them - it didn't happen and it won't. We made an appointment for a home visit for the 3PM-6PM window. 5:20 came around and I called - no record of our appointment and mention of a problem with their scheduling system. Rescheduled for the same time the next day after I spoke with their home visit person, who had called to confirm and left a message. I called back mid-morning to confirm the appointment to this individual's direct line. 6PM came and went - no call, no nothing. I'll give them the scheduling system glitch, but after getting a message, then calling in the morning to confirm and leaving my mobile number - with no return contact all day; well, let's just say I am very disappointed. My wife decided to solve her MacMail to Outlook conversion by simply sending herself all important emails and I will solve our home networking upgrade the old-fashioned way by researching the subject on my own and proceeding (worst case call the local Geek Squad). I'm sorry this happened, but the lack of follow up on day two and the time we wasted waiting earned this review. read more

Kekoa answered, very friendly and knowledgeable, not like the proverbial " Rick the IT Guy" on SNL I have encountered or visualized in the past! When I had a major issue, Elliot came to my home office and did a thorough and successful restoring my operations. (An earlier repairman hadn't quite fixed it and I wasn't charged for his visit.) They also resolved another issue via "remote control". And more recently, I called when my keyboard quit - and I discovered it was just a low battery and my "reconnecting" technique was flawed.
