They explained the procedures and also called beforehand for confirmation of other work when they discovered other areas were broken too. In addition, they followed up the next day to make sure my phone didn't have any issues. All in all, this place is a gem for getting your phone fix! I also highly recommend them over IGSM in Bellevue. IGSM was the place I went to the first time it cracked and it took longer to fix and they're also less professional + more expensive.

Before finding Jet City, we would've had to fix our computers or our phones at our workplace with IT professionals or going to places like geek squad. I'm so grateful that we now have some kind of assistance that is so smart and so fair in pricing . Everything they say you can assume is correct. These guys are so fair , straight- forward and so smart . They're always concerned with your bottom line , efficacy and saving you as much money as they can! I guarantee you that they will never overcharge you or upsell you . They always speak the truth and they fix your stuff in record time! my whole family and I will keep coming here for every "oh sxxx" moment with our computer or phone issues !'The guys working are so kind, extremely professional and overly polite . It's amazing . My senior mom come here every couple of months frazzled and they solve her computer problems -sometimes not even charging her for their services! I can't say enough good things about this team of miracle workers. if you've lost data because you can't find a file that you need, system corruption or any other reason , you've should really go here first and save yourself a lot of of time and headache cause these guys know what they're doing . I'm so grateful that they've been helping our family for at least five years with all of our various electronic problems -from the smallest to the largest, and at record time for really unbelievably fair prices! I don't know anything like this in Seattle. I'm totally amazed that they're still here and they're still charging low prices. It's amazing. Had an emergency phone screen replacement for my girlfriend's Samsung S25+ after it dropped on…read moreconcrete and cracked. Cost $330 for the repair. After replacement my girlfriend and I started noticing condensation both front and back camera lenses that eventually led to the phone randomly turning off. Tried troubleshooting but unable to turn phone on. Took it to another third party phone repair shop for diagnosis and was told whoever did the replacement left the inside messy and the screen connection was loose. The repair guy was able to bring the phone back to life during diagnosis but the screen was flickering. He recommended to take it back to where it was originally repaired. Drove back to Redmond and explained the situation. Employee said it will be about 2 hours to take a look and will call/text when ready. Okay cool. So we waited 2 hours and when we came back and he asked did you receive a text. I said it was already the 2 hour mark... The one hour device repair guy then explained the screen connection is corroded and proceeded to show a picture on his phone of the corrosion. He suggested we must've dropped it in water. So now I'm thinking, how can a connection be corroded internally if this phone is water resistant and the phone had these problems AFTER the repair? Even so, we NEVER exposed it directly to any source of liquid since the time of initial repair. Even if we did, shouldn't it NOT have this issue anyway? Also we NEVER received any document or signed anything acknowledging of any potential risks after repair. I asked the repair guy what are our options. He said he can order the screen replacement and have it done on Wednesday. I asked him if this was going to be charged. He said yes. I said no. He said call the number for "headquarters". I called and no one picked up. We left and on the drive home the number from "headquarters" calls us. I explained the situation again to "headquarters" guy and asked for what are our options. He said we'd have to pay $309. I said no. He said let me place you on hold and call the repair guy in Redmond. We waited on hold for a bit. He comes back and says the corrosion is from water damage. I'm thinking what is this guy trying to imply? We continued to have a back and forth until he relents and says I can do it for $209. I said no thanks. That is literally the cost of a replacement phone adding both repair costs. Honestly I was livid after this conversation. Not only was there zero accountability from their end, but they tried to shift blame on the customer for using their phone normally. TLDR: Please make sure you are aware the risks of getting anything repaired from this business. It might make more sense buying a replacement instead.

In an odd sort of way, it turned out my first choice wasn't my best choice!…read more I came across the listing and thought "OK - it's a little corny name, 'Those Tech Guys'" but honestly, if you hang around tech guys at all, you get it. I am far from a professional when it comes to IT installations, but I know enough to be dangerous. And after getting quotes to install ethernet in my 1980s circa home, one never wired for ethernet, one that just went through a significant renovation where I, in my supreme wisdom said "WiFi is great, now! Who need hardwires anymore?" was now faced with retrofitting several rooms and office with ethernet and said, this guy over here, the independent with a normal sounding company name, yeah - lets go with him! Mistake!! After schedule, and reschedule, and delays, and reschedule, we got nowhere with contractor number one. Meanwhile, Roberto and Peter at Those Tech Guys had patiently followed up several times, continued to be pleasant and professional, and AFTER I said no thank you I am going to go with someone else! So I made the dreaded call back - "So remember when I said if things change . . . " Peter was quick to jump on the phone, and walk me through things at every step. Gave me a highly competitive bid, and an install time of only a few days from when I called. They cam onsite, were clean courteous, and efficient. They played with my dog (I mean who doesn't love a bowling ball Staffy Bull Terrier mix?) and made light work of the install, and the final cost (with tip!) was even below the initial quote. This was made possible as Peter walked my home and together we found opportunities to do things more quickly, and save a few dollars along the way. In the end, I didn't choose Those Tech Guys first, but you should. No regrets here, other than I should have picked them first!

Work started at 9…read morea.m. In the beginning, the team gave the impression that they were going to drop wires from the attic through soffit vents down to cameras for most of the run beside the doorbell. One of the team members had to drive back for a ladder during the job. And both finished at 5pm 16 billable hours for a 5 runs vs 6 runs and paid full price. The worst part is I was under the impression that they (during booking and pre-install) would try their best to conceal wires, but the majority of wires ended up exposed and longer than necessary. Camera down to crawl space then back up exterior wall (next to downspout) through soffit vent into attic. Vs. camera up exterior wall into attic via soffit vent. I tried contacting the team to offer to pay more to have wires rerouted to no avail. The cameras work. I'm grateful for that.

It was locked. I phoned the number on the sign, and someone answered promptly. I described my problem: color prints, black doesn't. The guy said $40 to inspect, $80 more to fix (if possible), plus parts if necessary -- but only $40 to unclog ink. If they can't fix it, the initial $40 includes recycling fees. Not bad to fix a $300 printer with scanner. They could visit or I could take it there. I said that I was already there. The guy said that they were in Olympia for an on-site job, and gave me instructions on dropping off my printer. I did so, and waited for news. Turns out that the color cartridges were too low to test, so I had to but a color pack. (Thanks, Staples, for the Amazon price match.) I dropped off the ink. They fixed it very quickly, and said that the ink flush was all it needed. $80 plus tax. I picked it up, and finally got to meet the guy who did the repair. Alas, the printer failed the power-on self-test when I plugged it in at home. On a Sunday afternoon. I didn't get a chance to bring the printer back for another look until Friday. Next day, when they're not officially even open, they called and said it worked fine for him. (Classic computer service occurrence, right?) He suggested I try it again. Then, before I got a chance to head there to pick it up, he called again. He had reproduced the problem! He contacted someone at Brother, and updated the firmware. Problem still there. He tinkered, and found a solution: bypass part of the power-on self-test by leaving the top door open when plugging it in. Hooray! (He also said a new system board would solve the problem for real, but he couldn't get a price quote on Saturday.) Bonus: no charge. So I picked it up, and plugged it in. Oops, forgot the work-around. Fail. Unplug, wait, open top door, plug in again. Lots of start-up noises. Set the time and my wifi settings. And it printed something that had been sitting in the printer queue! I printed more today, and it's still working. Success. Bonus printer shopping advice: - Brother and Canon are good stuff, but if one breaks, they can fix it. - Epson is good, but the nearest place for repairs is somewhere in Oregon. - Avoid HP printers. They're good, but their ink policies are trouble.
