I originally made a mistake taking my desk top computer to the Geek Squad at Best Buy on Galleria Pkwy in Sparks for a malware and virus scan. After 3 days I went to pick it up and it crashed right there on the checkout bench. They kept it for 5 more days and still did not correct the problem that they created. I brought the computer home and it continued crashing daily. Computer was working fine when I took it in for the scan. I found PC Service Center on-line gave them a call after explaining the problem they told me to bring it in. After only 5 days they called and said it was ready to be picked up. Melissa spent about an hour explaining what was done and how Microsoft 10 works in layman's terms. Melissa gave excellent customer service. I highly recommend this business, my computer runs better than brand new. read more

These guys are great! I have had 2 repairs done at PC Service and both times I was really impressed with the service. In fact the first time I came in my laptop wouldn't connect to the internet. It took them about 5 minutes to fix it and they didn't charge me a thing! My other laptop had a broken screen and they ordered me a new screen and swapped it out within a few days. I price shopped the repair a little bit and found they were significantly cheaper than the other places I called, and way cheaper than Best Buy! I called PC Service Center to inquire about their repair services. I was surprised to learn they not only provide virus removal, but they back up their warranty if anything should go wrong. I was also surprised to know the service fee was far less than going to another provider. So I brought my laptop in to follow through with the virus removal and as discussed saved my data, formatted the hard drive, and installed new improved virus programs I was so desperately needing. I would not recommend this business to ANYONE, in fact I have stopped four people from using their services. I had the worst experience imaginable with this business, and unlike most businesses the employees were awesome and extremely helpful it was the OWNER who lacked any professionalism. I took my laptop computer in to have the DC jack repaired and gladly paid $160 for the service. Three days later when I picked my "fixed" computer up it was clear it was still not working. I took it back the very next day, and the employee who did the repair agreed to get it actually working. My laptop was with them for almost two weeks when I went in to see what was going on. Upon arrival the employee who had attempted to repair it tells me it is unable to be repaired and I can receive a refund once the owner comes in tomorrow. I return the next day to retrieve my refund from the owner and am handed a check for $50 and told I shouldn't be given anything at all and to never bring my ass back there as i'm walking out of the door. I took my laptop elsewhere and it was repaired for $60, so I definitely suggest you go anywhere else. read more

I was extremely happy with the service and their work! They didn't try to impress me with "tech talk" and the under-promised and over delivered. I highly recommend them for sales and sales. Great staff, good selection of gently used computers and parts, and very reasonable rates. This is definitely the place to call or visit if you're having issues. Amazing customer service! Rates when I visited: In-store Diagnostics = $45 for desktops, $65 for laptops; Labor = $85 per hour. Site visits= $95 per hour. Probably the best experience one can hope for when your computer suddenly dies. I popped in just after 10am on 10/26/17 after discovering my computer charger would not connect. I had hoped it would be an easy fix, unfortunately it was not. Nat was very upfront and realistic with what the problem actually was and how long it would take to fix. He included several options with varying prices on each. The broken DC Jack on my computer is a common issue with this model (according to Nat) and his advice was to order the part and attempt to fix it with a data backup. While my computer was out of commission PC Service Center offered to rent me a loaner laptop if I needed one at very reasonable rates! I didn't need one but what a great offer. Nat called me later in the day to let me know the backup was possible but that a fix would run me over $400 which would be more than a new laptop. Again he offered multiple options including fixing the laptop (over $400), ordering the part and taking the laptop to a different repair shop with more specialized equipment, or doing a data backup and getting a new laptop. I appreciate that Nat took the time to explain the issue and possible solutions to me in very understandable terms with no pressure to choose one option over any other. read more

PC Service Center under promised & over delivered. I had a hard crash of my overworked, older, but consistently-updated laptop, my daily driver. After a couple of weeks of overheating & auto shutdowns & hoping the machine would heal itself it finally crashed...hard; burned out processor fan, blue screen of death, saturated with viruses & malware. Panic! I had an emotional attachment to this computer and I thought I'd lost everything. John & crew courteously listened to me, assessed my PC's problems, proposed a "treatment plan," and established a costing & timeline estimate - in writing, but with no promises. I went to PC Service Center with my old printer. Nat informed me that he could take a look at it but could have a new one for the same price. I came home with a great printer and the nice thing is Nat installed it for me. I just had to plug it in and it is ready to go. I will use them again for yearly maintenance on my laptop as well. WOW ! I had a computer problem today that was beyond me to "fix". I called and talked to "Nat", Lead Technician, who was so nice. Driving there right away, he made a quick fix and charged me NOTHING. That's what I call customer service. I ordered a new part for my ancient laptop, which will be here in a matter of "days", and paid a very fair price for it, and the anticipated labor. I would recommend this company, and especially "Nat" to anyone needing computer repair, parts, or service of any kind. This place is awesome! My Mom just took her laptop here yesterday, and couldn't be happier with not only how quickly her laptop was fixed, but she said Patrick was great! She called and told him what had happened.... her Windows program (not sure what version she has), did some updates, and when she went to use her laptop after, it had changed her sign in email to one she didn't use and didn't know or have a password for! Basically, she could NOT get into her laptop AT ALL! Long story short, of course Microsoft was NO help. I told her "Look on Yelp and find a computer repair place to take it to!" as neither of had no idea where to go. Well, PC Service popped right up! She called, told Patrick what happened, and he quoted her about $130 to wipe it clean, reinstall, and back everything up. Ok, cool. Needs to be done as Mom has to have her laptop functional. She takes it on Tuesday. Patrick needed a password she didn't know by heart, she stops by home on her way to work and gives it to him over the phone. She then leaves for work, 20 minutes later when she gets there, she's sees Patrick has called, she then checks her voicemail and it's Patrick-"You're laptop is all done. Come pick it up when ever you want. The charge will be $40". Say what?!?!?! SWEET! Not only was he super fast, but it only cost her 1/3 of what she had been quoted! If we ever need either of our laptops worked on or anyone asks us where they should go for computer repair or service, we will DEFINITELY BE referring them to Patrick! ****PATRICK- Please be sure to update your new store hours on your Yelp page. I've purchased two PC's from these guys and until just recently I was OK with the service. I had to take the first PC I bought in for a new network card. While in their care they fried the mother board, and suggested I did it (the tech started the PC when I dropped it off-so it worked). They finally consented to change out the board, but they had to find one, after waiting two weeks I asked them to trade me another PC and we would make a deal. $300 later I am now typing on a PC that will not hold a charge, and I will be taking it back today.
