The five star rating says it all "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" The guys (and gal:) know their business for sure. We have been using PC Tech Service since they started...out of the owner's basement! They have since moved to a storefront and, if it's even possible, the service got even better. I won't bore you with the details of what PC Tech fixed...there were many, many different situations and issues with our computers over the last eight years. Only one time they couldn't rectify a situation and it wasn't their fault; our computer was very old and had seen better days. What did we do? Had them build us a custom pc! In fact, we've upgraded twice with PC Tech. They have a system where they can log into your pc remotely and see where the problem might be happening and, most of the time (at least in our situations), are able to fix it without them leaving the shop, or you having to bring your pc to them. The technicians are so very patient, understanding and they explain things in layman's terms, which I very much appreciate:) ~ their fees are extremely reasonable and I trust their knowledge, work ethics and professionalism 110%! I recently (July 2013) brought 3 computers to PC Tech for diagnosis and repair. Christy and Dan were very helpful. The diagnosis of each computer was free and was completed in less than 48 hours. I decided to have a disk drive replaced in a Toshiba laptop. I felt that their prices were reasonable for the new disk drive and its replacement and the work was completed promptly. That computer now works fine. Another computer an HP mini was diagnosed with a need to replace the RAM which I did myself and that computer also now works fine. The third computer is an older desk top and I am still considering what to do about that repair. I have no reservation in recommending their services. They were prompt and professional. I brought my computer here to have the screen fixed after I dropped my (brand new ) laptop. The man who was working was very helpful and friendly. Despite the fact that my laptop screen was not a standard one (touch screen) they were able to fix my laptop in just a few days, which was great since I am a graduate student. They were very friendly, helpful and professional. The man who repaired my computer even went out of his way to repair a chip on the back of my laptop which was not even a part of the screen, which I really appreciated as it was not part of the job I paid for! Great Service! I had a horrible infection on my computer. Dropped it off in the morning, ready for me when I got out of work. Didn't know PC Tech made house calls too.....would have saved me the trip. Very helpful people, friendly. Gave me tips on how to prevent this from happening again. I was blown away by the fact that they do not charge anything to look at my computer. Try taking your car to a garage and finding out whats wrong with it for free. They also had one of the best turnaround times compared to my past experiences and they do quality work. I had a nasty virus on my computer and they fixed it in a day. read more
