This business has relocated for unknown and unexpected reasons …read more I called in June to see if they were able to repair my Electro voice powered speaker. They said yes - Speaker brought in and 69.00 Diagnostic Fee paid - the were very efficient in determining My amplifier component was Blown -- They said I would need to pay for the replacement component up front and I authorized payment for "new amp " via credit card via textual and phone communication . I specifically told the Manager that I wanted Electrovoice OEM replacement components- They said no problem and speaker would be ready in approx 2 weeks . Segway -- 3 months later - they said delay was that they Did not have a Technician on Staff and job was on hold till they could find a replacement technician. I became somewhat suspicious when the manager kept trying to sell me on idea of getting a custom replacement speaker -- Told him , No Thank you sir-- Then he tells me That the future for investing was Cryptocurrency and they had a on site Bitcoin Vending Machine - that worked by digital payment . I told him I was Not interested and we needed to focus on the task of repairing my speaker. I had made multiple calls over the summer to check on the status . The Manager would not return my calls by text nor cellphone conversation. However, when I utilized someone else's phone with a different # , he would pick up the phone and answer promptly . I went there to see WTF was going on . He assured me that it was a labor issue . He needed more time. Long story short - he has some ? " Technician" "complete the repair" . I go to pick it up and notice that there is an aftermarket Brand Amp ... I said this was not what we agreed on . He stated when the initial tech ordered replacement OEM amp - it did not fit I said to him- that he did not order the correct Mfg OEM Why ? Because I personally called Electro voice in Greer SC and gave them the serial number and part numbers on back of matching speaker. They verified they had exact replacement and also offer a factory revamp and repair of my unit . I thought one stop connect would be a faster and effective solution I was totally Fooled by this Con artist -- I now have a speaker with incorrect bootleg part that still doesn't function properly -- I called to ask for refund and I would return the Bootleg amp . The manager has now moved the business ( He said that something unforeseen had occurred and they were in the process of relocating to Herndon). He has stood me up with more excuses beyond reasonable and professional consideration I have been more than patient - trying to give the guy a break ( that was my Mistake ) He refuses to answer my call . I would like notify the Police but this is a Civil Matter -- I would not let these people change a light bulb in my flashlight -- This Business is unethical , unprofessional and totally inept . Guess I will resume our discussions in small Claims Court -- Bottom Line : Stay Away And I do not believe Yelp and its reviews as well .

I asked Nick to give me a nicely refurbished laptop with very little apps on it as to not overwhelm my 71-year-old uncle. He states he just wants to be able to send and receive emails and to do the occasional search. I told him that's all anyone does these days, lol anyway Nick was able to find me one almost immediately and threw in the charger and a case.

When I removed the broken glass myself, it came off in one piece with zero adhesive and debris in the corners -- clearly the cause of the crack, not misuse. I brought it back and asked for a proper reseal (color didn't matter to me). They installed an aftermarket glass that looked fine and held up with my case. Later the phone got rained on. Because the back glass was never properly resealed to IP68 standard, water got inside and the phone is now stuck in recovery mode -- almost certainly a fried motherboard from that leak. The Herndon manager refused to warranty it, calling it "water damage" and ignoring that their failed repair is what let the water in. I then took it to the Myrtle Beach location to try drying it out -- they cracked my screen and said Herndon would coordinate a replacement. That never happened either. Two locations, two failed repairs, zero resolution.

A true measure of a business is how they handle things when things go wrong…read more I want to start by saying the actual service experience was good. Fast turnaround, friendly staff, and when my first screen replacement had dying pixels, they replaced it under warranty without any pushback. That part of the experience deserves credit. However, the second replacement screen was also defective. Graininess in low light, visible dark spots, and the screen would go completely black during phone calls. At that point I asked for a refund rather than a third installation, since I'd already spent enough time and didn't want to gamble again on the same part. This is where I think the real test of a business happens. Anyone can deliver good service when everything goes smoothly. What matters more is what happens when it doesn't. I had an independent diagnosis from Apple confirming the display issue, and the shop initially agreed to a refund on the condition that I return the old screen. The problem was that Apple, who repaired the phone separately, retains all replaced parts as their own property and doesn't return them to customers, a policy I confirmed directly and documented for the shop. In the end, the shop declined to issue a full refund and only offered a partial refund for labor, even though the part itself was the source of the defect, not the installation. I came into this wanting to be fair, and I gave the business multiple chances to resolve it. I think it's reasonable to expect a full refund when a product fails twice, especially when returning the part wasn't even possible due to circumstances outside my control. I'd recommend this shop for routine repairs based on their speed and friendliness, but be aware of how they handle things if something doesn't go as planned. They would reference that they work with the local Apple Store, but I spoke with the Apple Store and they have several customers come in after poor third party replacements and service.

The Best Buy people that came earlier said they would be only able to install it while making holes in the wall, near the floor under every speaker and also some holes in the ceiling of the basement and they would not repair those holes. But my experience with them was bad from start to finish. After my TV suddenly stopped working, I sent Glebe TV an e-mail they have listed on their Facebook page (because their website doesn't work) asking for more information. After 2-3 days passed, I got no response. This was a sign of bad things to come, but I disregarded it as no big deal. I then called them, got the needed information, and dropped off my TV a couple days later. They charge a $95 non-refundable deposit fee to get an estimate, which can be applied later to the cost of repairing the TV. While dropping off the TV, I was told I'd get a call in "a couple days". A couple days came and went. I called 14 days later after never hearing from them. They still hadn't even tested the TV to see what was wrong with it. I'm frustrated, but continue to wait. I call back a few days later once again and no status updates. At that point I was then told a technician will call me "first thing in the morning". This call never came. Finally, after 20 days they called me first and gave me an estimate. So just to be clear, I paid $95 dollars for an estimate that took 20 days. For me, it would've cost another $200 or so to fix the TV so it made more sense to buy another TV. If I would've known it'd take 20 days to get an estimate, I would've never went to Glebe in the first place. They never apologized. I asked for some type of refund for the lengthy and expensive estimate and lack of communication on their part, but I was met with dismissive attitudes and kept getting the run-around to call back at another time. At this point, TV's have become throwaway items and in most cases it's probably more cost effective to just buy a new one. I don't recommend you take your TV to a business that can take up to 20 days to give an estimate, does not initiate contact with their customers, and is dismissive/unapologetic to it's customers. Very disappointed.
