Haven't been on yelp in a while but I was so happy with the service from this place that I had to leave a good review. Busted my macbook and wasn't sure what was wrong. Two other places told me it was a logic board problem (which is expensive ofc, and difficult to fix because of the pandemic/obtaining parts), and two other places charged like $50 for a diagnostic. Uhhh no I'm good, lol. I called this place and he was honest up front about how they diagnose and how they might be able to help me. I came in and he spent time looking at my laptop right in front of me (I appreciate the transparency!), explained it wasn't a logic board problem and that it was a keyboard problem. I was skeptical just cus the other two places said it was a logic board issue, but he explained throughly why my keyboard was messing up my laptop and saved me a looooot of money and time from wasting it on a new logic board!! Do not trust this place. I went multiple times to fix the same issue with my laptop not turning on. Paid hundreds of dollars to have it "cleaned" a few times. I was told it must have been something I spilt on it. Next, I was told it will work if I just keep my laptop plugged in whenever I need to use it because the battery didn't work anymore. When I do plug my computer in, it takes 5-10 minutes to load anything. If I unplug my laptop, everything I was working on is gone. If I am working (for my job from home) on my computer, occasionally it will just shut off. I went to Best Buy (Southcenter mall location) to see if they could help and was told my laptop didn't have a battery in it. I called Premier Computers and was told I wasn't remembered as a customer. read more

My recently purchased, used, First-ever-for-me, IMac suffered a hard drive failure (of course). It was waaay beyond any Apple warranty, so I had a friend of a neighbor recommend Premier. He diagnosed it right off, I requested an small upgrade (because I don't know Mac's very well, I'm just tired of Windows problems) and was on my way quickly. Very fast, very friendly and personable and I thought "I'll be back". Well, the way Apple has created their All-In-One Imac was without using screws to hold the case together, they use double-back tape. (What could go wrong?) I go into my 'lab' in the morning to find my one-piece Mac in two pieces!!! A call to Rich at Premiere and he replaced the broke stuff, fixed it all as good as new and, again, I will be going back (but for a different computer, he does Win PC's as well). Wow!!!! Finally I found a place to get my Mac fixed that ISN'T terrible at service and DOESN'T gouge the hell out of you..... f!ck apple stores. Long lines, excessive costs, and all around bad service. I was fed up with it. This gentleman got my Mac power port swapped out and back in a few days (he had to order the part) and I didn't even have to schedule an appointment! Thanks again for the wonderful service..... I took my Kindle Fire in to Richard when it was having problems charging; he knew what it was immediately and fixed it in a couple of days. When I got it home, I discovered it had a new problem; he told me to bring it back in and quickly figured out something else had broken while he was working on it. He apologized, ordered the new part and fixed it free of additional charges. I greatly appreciate his integrity; he was honest and took care of the problem without any runaround. I truly was in a pickle until I got to Premier Computers. Have you ever passed by a business for 10 years and always wondered about it? Well, I did wonder about it and I am so glad because I finally walked in a few weeks ago. I no longer have to wonder. My issue was with my Iphone 5. My phone was also disabled phone because after my screen cracked, I tried to log in too many times. I walk in and there is this friendly man who is not only patient with his customers, but he has soooooooo much knowledge about computers and phones. Richard, the owner, explained to me what the issues where with my phone. He talked me through what had to be done and even let me get on his computer to try and un disable my phone. What did i learn from this experience? YOU NEED TO CONSTANTLY back up your information on your phone because if ya lose your phone, you could be in a world of trouble. I had been to at least a half dozen other places, trying to get my phone functioning again and Richard gave me THE BEST price out of anyone. I was so relieved to find a store, where the owner knows how to treat customers, is upfront, and his prices are EXTREMELY competitive. I also found out that Richard does house calls for businesses that have computer and other issues and he will also make house calls. Why am I telling you this? Because Richard is the person you need to call for ALL things phone and computer related. It is just refreshing when integrity meets competency and Richard at Premier Computers, has that in spades. I have a few old computers that I still have the hard drive for. I cannot wait till Richard helps me transfer that info to my new computer. Over 10 years in business in Burien. Premiere Computers fixed my IPhone 7, which I had dropped and was non functioning and had cracks all over the screen. He wasn't even fazed. Told me upfront it would be $88 and that was the price. My phone looks brand new. I've had this done before at the mall and it cost me twice as much. It took him a couple hours to do and it was totally worth it. With my family, this won't be the last time an IPhone is broken but when that time comes, I know right where to go! Two thumbs up! read more

So my BF spilled diet soda on his computer, this is very acidic and you should get your computer cleaned right away. This place was near by and we thought wed give it a shot. Bad decision...had computer for a month and he never actually cleaned it, I even asked what about cleaning it, and he told me he basically had, BS, it was just sitting there corroding away. Said it was the memory, maybe motherboard but this laptop was just too much for him to handle. It did have to have memory replace, but also the keyboard. We took to Progressive Tech on Roosevelt, fixed. Only go here if you need your memory wiped or to maybe remove a virus. Otherwise, go some where they can hook up to a system a diagnosis, this is strickly a basic shop. read more

I've never needed to get a laptop serviced but my MSI was not connecting to WiFi and I couldn't use my webcam. Nice thing is, the disgnosis is FREE. I dropped my laptop off and he said he'd call me when he found something out.. two weeks go by and I call HIM asking about my computer. He concluded that I needed a new touch sensor bar. I asked him if he could find the piece and replace it for me. He said if he could find the piece he would. Two more weeks pass by (1 whole month) and I still didn't get a call. I called him AGAIN. Can't find the piece, sorry. After a bit of digging for myself after I picked up my laptop, I found it on eBay for like $10. Sigh. Idk. Maybe MSI is hard to fix or something? But I would've at least liked a call maybe weekly to give me an update. read more

ok well to start this guy will go above and beyond to make sure he has done everything he can to get it right. first he fixed a hard drive that was my wifes from the early 2000'S that she burned up by using the wrong power cord. I had already taken the hard drive to 2 other places and the both told me my only option was to send it to a clean room. it was not an option because if you know much about clean rooms it can be crazy expensive and I did not have that kind of money. so on I surched until I came apon this place. richard took the hard drive apart and found a way to pull off all the info. it did take a day but what do you expect from 12 year old tec. so at that point my wife decided I was her hero and bam I earn the best gift ever catigory after 6 years together. all for the great price of 89$ what a deal. A few weeks later my pc crashed after 4 years of free anti virus software bombardment? it was the end of the line for the most sadly protected device ever and it put up a lock screen to the likes of nothing the shoddy dell india support had ever seen. they were little to no help. there was no way to get around the new pass code lock. he worked on it for a few weeks and to no avail itoomed like I would need a new mother board to get around the lock when he coached me on the phone with dell and they finally gave me the I nfo I needed to figure out it was a master password that was only used when I first set uo the pc. (not to be confused with my log in password. ) after I found that password I was aBle to move past the initial screen. which immediately crashed. from this point he had it debuged and brought back to life, then backed up and formated. then he reinstalled the operating software and some better free anti virous software. this was a very quick turn around after we got past the mystery password. he never gave up and was Great. you will not be disappointed if you come here. I could not be happier and am so thankful for his service. give him a try and you will not be disapointed. read more

Excellent Service and repair... I have utilized Premier on several occasions... I have purchased a computer from Premier, I also had a virus removed from a older computer and they do house calls. My wife was working on her mothers 80th birthday party picture slide show when ...at the eleventh hour something went really really wrong ( a virus attachment on a picture sent to us or something) and we could not get the slide show to display... Richard from Primer showed up and like magic he did somethings, and we had our data back and was able to show the slide show at my wife's 80th Birthday party. After another tech at a different repair shop totally botched up my business laptop and gave me bad advice that left me vulnerable to viruses, Richard saved the day at a very reasonable cost. He had me back on track and running even faster than before. His expertise was evident and his advice was solid. I don't trust big box tech support because they just cycle people through and you have no idea what their skill levels are. i was on my way to bellevue to take my computer to the microsoft store when i remembered that Burien had a locally owned computer repair store. Being a fan of supporting your own community, I went to premier Computer on 1st ave. Richard, the owner was extremely professional and listened to my non technical explaination of what I thought my problem was, then powered it it up. Of course, just like any my car going to the mechanic, it worked fine. He explained my problem might be a defective power cord. As I did not think to bring my power cord with me, I had to wait until I returned home only to find out thatwhere the S/C cord plugs into the power odule, was lose. When I tightened it up and plugged it in to the computer everything was fine. - All this at no charge to me except for my travel time. - A Fan and new customer. read more

Richard is amazing! I brought my new MacBook Air along with my dying MacBook Pro in today--and he had no problem getting my programs transferred. Most important, it was ready to pick up by 3! Then when I had issues getting program licensing transferred, he worked at it until issue was resolved without charging any more. So I took my laptop to Staples because I couldn't get stupid Windows to load the screen where I put in my password. All I got is a black screen. They tell me I need a new laptop, REALLY? It's two years old! I don't think so, I don't have that kind of money. One of the customers there suggested I take it down the street to this place. The guys there were super nice and made me feel at ease and didn't even charge me to look at it, while Staples charged me. They said it was software and that it could be fixed easily. Staples said it was hardware and couldn't be fixed. I got it back later that day right where I remember everything. I am more than excited about getting my computer back and seen by competent people, plus a fair price. Simply Awesome! read more
