We were looking forward to this new restaurant near us. We found nothing redeeming when we dined there except that the building inside and out is attractive. The menu is dominated by chicken that to us was neither fresh or tasty. There are few good options for vegetarians. The "hip" design does not foretell a similar menu or dining experience. The building inside emphasizes looks over function and there several bottle necks when we were there. The condiment counter was too small and dominated by employees stocking and cleaning. Staff were on stools dumping large buckets into an ice maker that must not have been functional. This restaurant needs to revamp and diversify its menu, find ways to improve customer flow, and improve the quality of their chicken. As we drove away we asked ourselves whether there was anything to coax us back. We just can't see it happening. read more

And since the female employee working the drive thru order window was swearing loudly and not acknowledging that I was there, I decided to pull forward and not purchase anything. My four year old was in the car and I was worried that hearing sh-t over and over again was not good for her. Food looks good, but that person needs to go. Came in with no expectations, hadn't heard much. Just knew it was the 'new place where Grandys was' and Tim Tebow has something to do with it. Had no clue until we were there that it is only chicken, with some turkey, restaurant. I quickly decided on the buffalo bleu chicken sandwich, while my 17 year old son got a fried turkey sandwich. Sides with the combo were fries or blueberry coleslaw. I asked if I could have a small sample of the coleslaw before I ordered it, as I had never heard of such a thing. Strikes me as a taste you would hate, or absolutely love. But I do try to always order the 'healthy' side if possible. The cashier states 'I don't know, Ill have to ask my manager." Manager comes over and says he cant. Then he offers. 'if you don't like the coleslaw, I will replace it for free with the fries!" I am a little dumbfounded, say I don't need that. If I don't like it, that would be a huge waste of food. He sighs, says 'fine', tells the cashier to 'go ahead'. She then brings me a premade container, which you probably have to buy for $2-3 for, with a fork. I tell them this is not necessary, I only want one forkful to try it! The manager shrugs, rolls his eyes, and goes back to whatever it is he is doing. I tell the cashier forget it. "If I don't like it, Im obligated to eat it all. Cant throw it in the trash, while there are starving children in china'(SORRY, I come from a family of hog farmers, where you NEVER waste food.) I have made similar requests in other restaurants, and have never even had someone blink an eye. I almost got the feeling he thought I was trying to get some free food or something, but then, Im also trying to read his mind. SOOO, I got the dang fries. Which were some of the worst I've ever had. Barely warm, limp and sad. Even my 17 year old didn't finish his, said they were awful, which is bad coming from a growing boy that would eat my hand if I didn't pull it back fast enough.;) My sandwich was delicious, and very tiny. I could easily have ate two, and I am not a big eater. My sons turkey sandwich was much more substantial, and he said was delicious. Both came with generous amounts of lettuce and tomato. Cokes were cold, and there were many condiments out to use. Restaurant was very clean, there is even a sink to wash your hands in the middle of the restaurant!(?). Bathrooms were clean. Cashier and other employees were pleasant and professional. My poor storytelling talents do not do justice to the bizarre issue and event with the coleslaw, it was really weird, and the fries were just plain awful. Will never come back. read more

Had the hot wing blue cheese tender sandwich very tasty. Fries are fresh so may not be as crispy as one might expect. What they lack in crispyness is made up by the excellent flavor. Cole slaw was unique and actually quite good. Fast service friendly personal service. Hope they build one in my neck of the woods. Will visit next time I'm in gator land. read more

The fried chicken tenders were delicious. The fries were lacking, especially since they got steamed in the plastic to go bag. They should consider brown bagging it. Tried the ranch, creamy garlic, honey mustard, and chipotle BBQ sauces, nothing to write home about but they were ok. Would go back for the chicken alone. read more

Fast food restaurant with friendly staff. Food is better than Mcdonald, Wendy's and other fast food restaurants.

Decent food, way over priced though. Great customer service though. Milkshakes are good but for the price just buy yourself a pint of Ben & Jerry's. Fries are like Steak 'n Shake but in a five guys frier so I wasn't a huge fan. Chicken was high quality but the value for the price of the tenders was definitely low. A healthier side to fast food. Not as many options as I expected but the food was good. The restaurant was very noisy.

Tried PDQ again and they seem to have corrected the soggy fry problem I had before. Tenders were just as crispy and delicious the second time around and the fries were crispy, salty heaven! If you're into overindulging like I am then I highly suggest one of their oversized cookies for dessert too. :) read more

My experience at PDQ has always been delightful with friendly employees but they should change management I have witness on several occasions were the manager Matt has been very loud and disrespectful to employees no one deserves that type of treatment especially from management thats no type of example to show your employees by being loud and obnoxious he needs more training in customer service skills Respect is due to the customers and the employees because without them there's nothing everything is always fresh and the cooks and the preps are doing a awesome job they just need better management. someone who respects their employees read more

From the time I walk in to the time I leave I was treated like Family. Everyone was do attentive and making sure everything was good. From their Hamburgers, crispy chicken tenders to their creamy chocolate shake a definite value and well worth it. They also have beer and wine!! Clean up place but should be for a new restaurant. I got the Crispy Chicken Salad with buffalo spice. The ranch dressing was horrible, it tasted like creamy Italian. My wife got the Crispy chicken fingers and fries. The chicken was good the fries were awful, I have no solution but 'fresh cut fries' are alway mushy, soft, greasy and NOT crisp! read more

She got the fried chicken tenders which were very good and I got the grilled chicken tenders which were the best I've ever had!! The food was hot and the service was quick! Crispy chicken sandwich with fries was a good meal for the cost. The lettuce in the sandwich was a thick slab; the tomato slice had flavor. Mayonnaise was light which was good. The fries were flavorful, however they were skinny. The service was fast and helpful. The dining room was bright, cheerful and very clean. The background music was loud. Patrons' voices bounced off the hard surfaces. It was difficult to hear my companions at the lunch. Will go back to try some other menu choices. read more

Twice I have ordered from this location and twice I have received my meals without the pickle. The second time I was at the drive thru and asked the window person if this location added pickles to their sandwiches to which she replied, "of course." Sadly not all locations are equally the same quality and service. If there is a shortage on pickles I would understand but laziness and incompetence are inexcusable with the number of people needing and wanting jobs. Train your employees to provide the best customer experience and your business will flourish. I think I will avoid this location in the future. read more

PDQ is fantastic! Food is fresh when you receive it and the chicken is moist and flavorful. Although I haven't had anything I didn't like, my favorites are the bowls. Can't say for sure which is the best. Go by your mood. And do yourself a favor--get the crabapple oatmeal cookie. I'm generally a chocoholic but this is divine! read more

I tried PDQ twice because of the hype, but each time was left lacking more. I WANTED to like it, but could not find any redeeming qualities. I tried their grilled chicken salad, and friend chicken salad. Each time, I felt like it was a pre-made salad that was nothing special. I could have gotten a better salad at Chick-Fil-A or Chipotle for a similar price. It just seems like an inferior hybrid of a Dairy Queen and a Chick-Fil-A. read more

I have been obsessed with PDQ since I first tried it here in Gainesville at their opening. Chick-fil-a used to be my thing, but I soon realized PDQ tastes much less greasy and their strips are to die for. If you're a chicken lover, crispy chicken tenders with fries and a sprite or oreo milkshake is a meal made in heaven. I would also highly recommend the honey mustard sauce, its one of the best I've tasted. I would try other things on the menu, but I'm boring and stick to the same amazing three piece meal on my weekly trips! The only negative thing I have to say is that sometimes PDQ changes in quality depending on the visit. I usually get really crispy tenders and fries which is awesome and other times I'll get smaller than usual tenders and slightly soggy fries. The latter only happens to me occasionally but the issue occurs often enough to make me stay away for a while. read more

First time experience, heard the food was great and I can't argue with that at all. The food portion was a little smaller than I would have liked. My friend got the chicken strips and he had plenty so maybe it was just my rice dish. The people were nice and the environment great. The service was good. Mixed reviews for me...the signature item, crispy chicken tenders are wonderful, but after that, PDQ falls flat. The only good thing about the blueberry coleslaw is well, the fresh blueberries. The coleslaw is dry and bland. The fries I had were old and limp. I tried one of the cheeseburgers, so very salty. If you stick with crispy chicken tenders either by themselves or in a salad, you'll get a decent meal. read more

I used to love coming to PDQ but I will no longer give this location my money due to an extremely rude manager who only cares about income and not customers or quality. When I called about my chicken tasting extremely off (I eat the same thing every time and it tasted so weird I couldn't finish it), he gave me an extremely nasty attitude over the phone and proceeded to yell at me that he checks and tastes the chicken himself so there can't possibly be an issue. Then he was pretty much daring me to go to the store to argue with him in person. He sounded like a child yelling and trying to start a fight. I've never been met with such unprofessional and rude behavior from a MANAGER nonetheless. I don't know his name but I hope there is more than one manager at this location because they won't last long with customer service like that. read more
