    $9.99 3 piece meal.

Slightly disappointed My son really loves this place but it was my first time. $9.99 3 Piece meal- OVERLY PRICED for what received in portions. It did come with really good cuts of chicken. Not overly battered and seasoned. Fries were floppy and below average. Toast was just right...and sauce was probably the SAVING GRACE for the meal. Line was out the door but orders were taken quickly. Wait time was really long. Dining room was UF decorated and fun but tables required covering with napkins because of the lack of attention. Trash cans were so full that I took my trash to go. Never had that happen. Likely wouldn't choose for myself again but my son will continue to be a loyal customer.

What's all the hype about? It's chicken tenders and fries. Mind you, the chicken was beautifully fried and really well seasoned... BUT tiny portions and cold stale fries. I was excited to try the "sauce", but actually prefer the chicken without sauce as it was so nicely done. Cole slaw - dry, bland and left uneaten. I will not likely return unless there's a major change in the whole business model. Cute local decor.

By far, the best chicken tender chain. I was so excited to hear that Canes was quickly expanding throughout Florida. Located in Midtown, Canes has quickly gained popularity with students that live on campus and behind Midtown. There is very little street parking, but also a garage behind the building. A Caniac Combo will end up costing about $18, but it is a large meal. I would highly recommend ordering ahead, as the wait can get pretty long.

I was eager to try Raising Cane's because while not a big fan of chicken fingers, I'd read about some of the unique aspects of the chain's history, such as that the two founders originally wrote up the business plan for the restaurant as a class assignment in college and only got a C- on it and that all corporate employees are cross-trained to work both front and back of house in restaurants so they'll know what it's like. At crucial times, such as during the pandemic, corporate has even sent high-ranking administrators to regional restaurants to help out when those restaurants were short-staffed. So that's all mighty interesting, but how's the food? I went by after dive practice today (so you know I was hungry) and got their box combo with chicken tenders, cole slaw, french fries, and bread. It also comes with a drink, and I got unsweet tea. Everything was pretty good: the Cane's Sauce for dipping the chicken was especially a treat and the chicken was nicely breaded, the cole slaw flavorful, the fries nothing special but ok. Their ice tea is on point, too. It's not the kind of food I eat very often, but for fast food it's in brightly-lit, fun atmosphere, the orders come out quickly and the staff is nice, plus the location is right across from the UF campus. I don't think you could ask for a whole lot more for what this is, actually. Not exceptional, but perfectly nice all the same and seemed when I visited in the early evening to be pretty busy and popular, too.

Great customer service. Food tastes like it was cooked after we ordered it. Delicious lemonade. Not a very long wait at night but pretty busy around lunch time.

I have always wondered how Raising Canes was and happily found this restaurant to be one of the few open during spring break. I enjoyed having the large tender meal. The tenders were cooked very well and the sauce really set it apart. The fries were ok, not my style typically, but still done well. It was a very busy day because it was the only location open along University. The restaurant is decked out in gator decor. Go gators!

I was visiting UF and had to stop by because this was the first Raising Cane's I've seen in Florida. I've had them in Boston, so it was a great treat seeing them here. Their famous tenders, sauce, toast, and lemonade did not disappoint! All delicious! The staff were very friendly and service was prompt. We dined in, and the restaurant was very clean. Team members were constantly cleaning tables and asking if everything was alright. Such an excellent experience!

I drove all the way to raising cane so that my exchanges students could try it. They saw it on TikTok and said they saw a lot of good reviews. I was skeptical because I thought it was just another chicken finger place like all the others. But I have to admit the chicken fingers are actually really good and the fries were great! Also, I'm not a big coleslaw person but I tried it and I actually ended up eating the entire thing. The lemonade wasn't as good as Chick-fil-A, but I think I compare everybody's lemonade to Chick-fil-A. The service was fast but they shorted me on a tender. I ordered six tenders, but they only gave me five. Not a big deal. They rectified it and gave me an extra tender. It's a little noisy in this place, but that's to be expected. We are in the middle of Gainesville with a bunch of college students and it's a pretty busy place. I actually really like it.

    Outside

THE WAIT IS OVER Ladies & Gentlemen!!! Many of us have been waiting 6+ months for this delicious debut!! Raising Cane's is the new talk of the town and they are owning it! Beautiful outside, large inside for dining with friends&family and food made fresh!!! Today I ordered a 4 Finger Box Combo w/ double fries (no coleslaw) and I was not disappointed!! Crunchy juicy chicken tenders never disappoint! Crinkle fries and buttery toast is a Yes for me!! Todays drink choice was an Arnold Palmer (half sweet tea and half lemonade) and I almost fell over in my seat it was so delicious lol Welp, needless I recommend this place 10/10 will truly try again!! Don't Meet Me There, Beat Me There!!

By the time we got our orders, we got the sense we were being shuffled out the door, so we took our food back home to eat. Huey's offers tenders and tender bites, chicken sandwiches and wraps, and salads. The chicken strips in the meal I ordered were on the thin side but fairly crispy. The crinkle cut fries were average but soggy by the time we got home. The Texas toast could have had more butter/seasoning on it, because it tasted like just a piece of grilled bread. Overall, I was expecting a bit more but I'm not sure I'll go back to give it another chance.

Entering, the place is nice... simple counter service location with seating both inside and out, though the outside seating is pretty close to Archer Road, so not that great. Too much noise from the road to really be enjoyable, sadly. I went for a slider with fries... just wanted to get a taste and not eat too much. The heat level was fair, and for the most part the sandwich was tasty. The fries were also good crinkle cuts. The only complaint I have was that the sandwich could have used some more coleslaw. This is a small national chain, so I do expect quality and customer service to be on par with the rest of the chains, and that is what I got. The product is fair, but nothing really excellent about it. I know of locally owned places that I would rather go to, but I suppose that if I were running around on Archer road and had a hankering for a hot chicken sandwich like this I would be inclined to return.

The food hall is fairly new and not all the stations are completely set up. That being said, they still had a great variety of things to choose from. Ranging from pizza, to tacos. to asian, to smoothies, they have something for just about anyones tastes! The hall itself is spacious and very clean. It has an industrial feel to it with dining hall sort of vibes. There are some really cute UF accents and decorations included as well. It wasn't too busy when we came, but they did have a DJ doing music. There were also several people enjoying the bar located in the center of the hall. The portions are decent sizes. Some of the stations portions are bigger than others. Which is nice because it allows you to sample and explore multiple things. I ended up starting at the Mexican station. They offered freshly prepared, customizable tacos, quesadillas, burritos, etc. I opted for a single taco, so I could try some of the other things offered. The tortillas are griddled with cheese in them, then topped with either chicken or shredded beef. You can choose from a nice selection of toppings including pico de galo, more cheese, lime juice, and an array of sauces. The taco had great flavor, but the cheese caused it to become "soggy" and fall apart. This made it particularly challenging to eat the taco. I then ventured onto the pizza station. They served focaccia styled square pizza with a thicker airy crust. It is almost reminiscent of a Sicilian styled pizza, but a little lighter. I opted for the pepperoni with hot honey added for an extra charge. The pizza was amazing! Served hot and fresh right out of the oven. The cupped pepperonis were heavenly and amply spread throughout the pizza. There was the perfect amount of hot honey to compliment to heat of the pepperonis. The cheese to sauce ratio was nice and the crust was chewy. It the perfect size for a personal pie or could easily be shared with a friend. I really enjoyed the pizza and liked the square style of it. Overall, I enjoyed the Gainesville Food Hall. They offer a nice variety of cuisines. It is family friendly and a great spot to grab a bite and hang out with friends. The space is clean and has an inviting feel about it. I really appreciate the idea of a food hall and think it is a great addition to Gainesville. Will be returning at some point in the future and cannot wait to try more!
