I've been to PDX Sliders a few times now. The vibe is super chill and the staff is always friendly and welcoming , no complaints there. Hot take: I don't totally get the hype. Don't get me wrong, the food is good... but it's not quite as amazing as everyone makes it out to be. Last night I ordered the Sellwood and the Division Philly sliders. It's the same full size burger, but I actually prefer the slider version over the full-size. We also shared fries and ordered a kids meal for my friend's son. The biggest downside for me? The food came out lukewarm (which has happened before), and the chicken in the kids meal was very well done. The sliders were solid, just not mind-blowing. That said, I do think it's fairly affordable, four sliders, fries, a kids meal, and two sodas for under $50 isn't bad at all. I'd definitely eat here again since it's a favorite in my friend group, but it's not somewhere I find myself craving. read more

Great spot for groups with plenty and the most seating out of all the locations. 2nd story outdoor patio is nice to chill in the Spring evening. The space outside of the restaurant is very cute. Because the inside is a little small, it is kind of hard to hear once the place starts picking up in popularity. The fries are delicious. The burger was nice, although I wish we were able to pick the way our meat is cooked and the bun was a little more toasted. Highly recommend asking for the aïoli as this was an amazing touch for our fries and the burger to add more flavor. The service wasn't anything memorable since it was such a quick interaction. Came by for an early dinner and it was basically empty. There is a huge amount of seating - two floors with an outdoor patio. You order at the counter/bar, get a number and find a table. My friend and I ordered fries, the sellwood, the Burlington, and the tilikum sliders. Everything came out super promptly. The sliders were all really good. Perfect balance between slaw acidity and freshness, and meat richness. My favorite was the Burlington. The fries were also yummy. Perfect crisp and had a nice truffle flavor that wasn't too overpowering. Service was nice as well. PDX Sliders has NEVER disappointed me before until this Uber Eats order. First, our Uber Eats order arrived without a whole full sized Sellwood Burger. We called the store & they gave the phone to the manger, Drew, who was very nice & apologetic. Since we said we would go to there to pick it up, he refunded the money for the burger. As I started eating the burger, I was not looking at it at first but then after a few bites I notice the inside of the burger & it was completely raw.. For them to forget the burger, refund me for a free one to just give me an uncooked burger was crazy.. and let me tell you, my stomach was hurting so bad later that night. Let me just lead with the fries are really, really really really really good. I would totally go back and get just fries! I had the pork slider, beef, slider, and chicken slider. I have to see the pork was really really good and it had like a mustard barbecue sauce. Out of the three sliders that was my favorite. The beef was just middle of the road. The chicken did not have much flavor. I did not enjoy that one as much either. Only had a couple of beer options, but that was fine. Service was pretty fast Even though they were really busy. Was able to sit outside at a picnic table because it was nice out. Inside was absolutely freezing cold with the AC so I was happy to sit outside. When you arrive, you'll place your order and pay at the front counter (including beverages) and then you'll take a seat. Also, the wait wasn't long at all. The burgers (and sandwiches) come in two sizes: Slider and Full-Size. We opted for sliders so we can try different ones, and I'm glad we did because now I know what to get the next time we go back! FOOD RECS: * Portland Slider, No Raw Onions (Me): This is a simple beef slider with white American cheese, pickles and aioli on a brioche bun. This was really good! Definitely getting this again. I like that the patty was juicy and tender. * Tilikum Slider, No Creamy Slaw (Me): This is a piece of buttermilk fried chicken with BBQ sauce and aioli on a ciabatta bun. This one blew me away. It's been a while since I had some PDX Sliders. This was my first visit to their location off North Williams. The interior here was very spacious. They have a bar, second floor, with outside seating as well. I ordered the Sellwood and Steel sliders and some fries. We ordered the loaded fries with the Division Philly as the toppings on it. We have visited here twice in the past two weeks. It's such a great place to go with our family of 5. Easy to get in and order. Our kids love the food. We ended up ordering different sliders so we can try different ones each time. We are always amazed how quickly the food comes out. We enjoy the staff. Always so easy going and attentive. I don't like big burgers because I can't ever finish it. Burger was pretty good. My favorite burger is smash burger from the Ilani casino in Ridgefield, WA. The decor is comfortable and perfect for small groups or large. They have an outside patio as well. The staff is super friendly and the sliders were perfect as usual. Wow! What an amazing new location! We are huge PDX Sliders fans and have enjoyed everything we've eaten from the other locations. I tried something new, the smash burger, on this visit and loved it. Every slider on the menu has a different flavor blend and this definitely had the good old fashioned basic burger vibe. My partner had the Fremont and Sellwood and loved them as usual. We've also loved the Steele and Hawthorne at other locations. This would be a great place to gather with a group and order one of each to try all the offerings. There is so much space here, so many different areas to sit and enjoy some of Portland's best food, including an upstairs patio. Great employees and service on this visit. We enjoyed great food and beer while watching traffic and pedestrians below from the patio. I only wish it wasn't so far from our home. Can we please get this in Happy Valley? read more

I think I've tended to be critical with some of my reviews, especially when I feel something adverse happened that I wanna point out. But it's with a sense of pleasure I get to say how much I enjoy PDX sliders particularly after their new location on William Street. It's probably been there longer than I'm aware of. I used to like the location on division, but one of the things that's making me happy is and I think it's a rare event in my experience, is the food has improved. Everything I ordered was as good or better than I've ever had, in particularly the breaded buttermilk chicken with Romain lettuce . My wife's been very happy with the burgers she's gotten so it's nice to say something positive. Definitely one of the better burger experiences I've had in a while. Flavorful beef, bang'n fries. Not too busy when we were there, so the food came out quick. The fries were so good! I got one of the burger sliders and it was ok. I wasn't crazy about the patty, it kinda looked and tasted like a pre made frozen one. I got the chicken slider(fried) and the chicken had a really good. Crust/flavor but when ate as a whole the thickness of the bread kinda canceled out the taste of everything.
