Despite a full house, service was timely and we enjoyed a leisurely meal. While there wasn't a high tea offering, we did enjoy a pot of tea that was served with warm honey. We also bought house blended teas to bring home. Speaking of which, wish we had Cornwallis House Tea Company in downtown Columbia - it's the type of place I'd spend time frequently. She had to request it from the bar three different times. Entrées for brunch: were honey chicken and waffles, 2 shrimps n grits one with a side of eggs, and fish n grits with a side of French toast . Everything was well seasoned, I was amazed at how much I enjoyed the grits. When I order grits, usually they require some doctoring up table side. The French toast was also surprisingly extra tasty. Everyone was completely satisfied with our choices and a couple of us were full so we took the rest to-go. Overall the food is good, the service can be tolerable if you get the right server and the music & atmosphere can be a vibe. However on both visits there were things and staff members that hindered the experience. Just A Note: There is an automatic 15% service fee added to the bill, it is a tip. However, I highly recommend if you get a really good server who provides great service despite the circumstance they are up against please tip them extra in CASH if you can.

Seating for two was quick, not more than 10 minutes. Our order was taken about 10 minutes after seating. We ordered a "build your own" flatbread and a New Orleans muffalatto. It took about 30 minutes to get our order. The waitress forgot our drinks and we got another waitress to bring them. The flatbread turned out to be a pizza. It was very good. Whoever designed the muffalatto has never tasted one. It was awful and I sent it back after two bites. This place may be going through growing pains.
