I visited the store about a week and a half ago because I wanted to get a water-pipe/bong. I read some reviews that said they had a great selection of glass pipes so I went with great expectations and I even called the store and the person that answered said yes we have a huge selection and hung up on me abruptly so I figured he must be busy that's a good sign. Well I go and it's only me and two other people in the store who are looking at things and I was so disappointed they had only two glass water-pipes/bongs(what happened to the supposedly huge selection I was told they had and that the review said they had) that were so expensive because they were handblown and handcrafted. I also needed a lighter and some butane lighter fluid so I figured I'll get all that here anyway and be on my way and finish my errands. The gentleman behind the counter was young with a huge attitude and a little sarcastic and he really could care less now that I only needed a lighter because he saw that I wasn't going to buy the expensive handblown water-pipes/bongs even though he said it's the best that I need it and he was very pushy about it and I said no I'm sorry thank you anyway. So now that he knew I was not going to buy the item that he was positive I needed he then really could care less now about helping me and started to help other people instead of finishing up with me and just ignored me and left me to stand there while there was another salesperson in the store who wanted to help them or me. Finally I got the other salesperson to assist me in getting a lighter which they have a huge selection of,but all the ones that I was interested in were in locked showcases and he had no key the other unattentive sales person had the key so I finally got a light he said was perfect for me and I trusted that because he said he's so knowledgeable about all the lighters because he's a smoker and has tried almost all of them and what he doesn't try he plays with while he's working with that said I thought he would do a really good job and give me what I needed. I took all of five minutes and I was out of there and very happy I brought it home and three hours later it wasn't working it was not holding the fluid and what it back to see made the catch of me they said no it's something wrong with it maybe you dropped it they would not give me my money back which was fine but I wanted another one no sorry sir so I got a bum late but I paid like $35 for with no fluid what extra fluid fluid when added the lighter so was that that just to get out of there I bring it home and three hours later it stopped working and they would not take it back plus it had no starter fluid in it and I paid about five dollars more than it is in all the other stores and I knew that but I just wanted to get it, get out of that store and be done with everything so I don't have to go to other stores and waste my time and gas the end of the story is that it was a very stupid unnecessary move by them to treat a customer that's why I'll never go back in like it was by a damn lighter and fluid I will not begin with them at all and that's why I'm giving them one star that I don't evenI think they deserve that. And I still need to buy a lighter and pay waste of my time! read more

Great selection of products; however, staff is a bit on the rude side. The selection of incense is very large and they have a pretty good deal when buying in large quantity. i was definitely not impressed with the attitude of the staff when asking to look at merchandise that was "locked" up. read more

I remember that day quite well and my friend and I were discussing a lesbian party, however it was about one which her lesbian mother was throwing. Another girl that works here also has a lesbian mother and the only thing they said was gross was people's ignorance. I'll make it short and sweet. Great customer experience in the face of conflict. I had gotten misleading return policy information by phone. When I went in to return for store credit they said my product wasn't returnable because it was a food-related product. After some gentle tugging and pulling, Matt, the owner, heard my argument and did the right thing. Not only did me allow to return it, but offered me a cash return. I felt so grateful that I bought something new! The place has a cool vibe to it and the people behind the counter are extremely helpful and not rude by any standard. There's daily discount specials on just about everything. Peace Pipe is an awesome place to shop! I had just purchased a Vapor Cigarette from them about a week ago and there was a problem with the e juice that i purchased at that time. I walked in with my receipt and they gladly gave me another e juice at half the price when i had told them that i had no problem paying full price. Also after purchasing my vapor cigarette from peace pipe i went home and found out that the product they sold me is going for 3x the amount online. Very good deals and very good service! I hate these people who work here. I accidentally said "smoke" and the guy THREW me out of the store. I was like "Wait, stop yelling at me. It was an accident..." They have the worst customer service. I would recomend going anywhere else but here. Also, they ID'd me when I walked in the store, even though I'd been there before, and it was annoying because I said, "Hey, I'm not buying anything, only my husband is, I don't want to go back to my car." and they made me go anyway to grab an ID. I go back inside, and I see a 2 month old baby in the back... the whole store smells like tobacco and there's a baby in the back crying... this place was awful. I said the word "Smoke" and they started flipping out. Not "Bong." I said "Smoke" while we were talking about incense because... honestly, I didn't know any better. And instead of explaining to me what the right terminology was, he just flipped a switch and went bizzerk. I'm like "Hey, man. Calm down. I'm not a drug user or dealer, I don't know any of the right words. Can you explain what I said wrong?" and he just chased us out of there like he was going to punch my husband. Meh, I blame them. He could have put up a sign or something. I didn't know insence was not supposed to be ingested until I read about it online (This was a while ago when news reports of it were being shown on TV about people starting to smoke it and it was considered synthetic marijuana.) and the fact that he treated me like trash when I was "supposed to know" synthetic marijuana cannot be smoked was absolutely mind blowing.
