Made a reservation for 11:30 AM on a Sunday morning, we got there 20 minutes late and they still allowed us to sit in our table with no problem with nothing but smiles! The hostess and the waitress were really sweet, asked if if it was the first time visiting, and informed us of how the food was going to be buffet styled. The ambiance was cozy with Easter decor, a piano in the middle of the dining room, taxidermy and their syrup being sold in the entrance! I got these two leather earrings made in Townsend! They were $6 each and so cute. I got a red and brown one! The pancakes were extremely delicious; golden brown, their maple syrup was unique, and their bacon was crispy and not too greasy. Primarily a maple farm that serves breakfast and dinner on Fridays. My Dad and I were there Sunday June 7, 2020. The first day that they had outdoor dining during COVID. The pancakes were fluffy and tasty. The home fries had diced onion one very flavorful. The star was the maple syrup. Dark amber, my favorite, bold maple flavor. I had found this place while researching where to buy maple syrup. It is the best price on Maple syrup $51 a gallon. And the breakfast is filling and very inexpensive. read more

I am a breakfast person. It is my favorite meal of the day, though usually I just eat cereal because I am so busy. My wife and I came here in September and we absolutely loved it. We made reservations because we were told it would be busy, though apparently September is their down season as we had the place pretty much to ourselves. They are closed for at least part of the time during the summer. It is an all-you-can-eat place with sit down serving and I think family style meals, though we ate by ourselves. We had our choice of regular pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes, French toast, eggs (prepared any way you want), link sausage, country ham, corn fritters & real maple syrup. For a small extra charge you can get sausage gravy. To drink, they had multiple types of juice (apple, orange, grape, cranberry) and milk and coffee and tea. They didn't have bacon available, but I believe the reason was that they produce everything they serve and they don't make their own bacon on their farm. Everything was excellent, and as long as you want more they will make more. Frankly, the amount of food was overwhelming and the quality was top notch. However, I wouldn't pay extra in the future for the country sausage gravy as it was just so-so. Instead, I recommend just asking for more sausage. The corn fritters were phenomenal, and I could see myself just eating them until I passed out. Afterwords, we were stuffed. We had plans to go to a country craft fair that afternoon and we did, but we weren't hungry for the rest of the day! It is a shame you cannot give something a 6-star rating, as this place earned it! read more
