Unfortunately I can't leave zero stars, so here we are. Let me start with my appointment for my two dogs was at 1600 and we weren't seen until 1710. I understand that things get busy but this is a situation where professional communication makes such a difference in how your customers view your business. That seems to be the root issue here as there was zero professional communication during the visit. The vet came into the room with a very defensive attitude and I just assumed she was having an off day as other times my dogs and I have been there over the PAST FIVE YEARS we haven't had awful experiences. My first dog was seen and vaccinated no issue other than me feeling the entire time like the vet and her tech were inconvenienced for having to do their job. Again working with the public I get it and sometimes it is just like that. The issue is that the vet tech was holding my very large German Shepherd with her face right next to his. I know my shepherd and wasn't concorned about him being snippy or anything so I didn't say anything for him. My Golden however is very anxious and will sometimes give warning snips to tell you she's uncomfortable and needs you to back off. Knowing this I asked the vet tech not to put her face near my dogs face TO KEEP MY DOG SAFE. As a dog owner the absolute last thing I want to do is allow my dog to be put in a situation where she can be at risk. Dogs are like children and don't think before they act so as her owner I felt asking the vet tech to keep her face away from my dogs was reasonable and honestly common sense for anyone who works with animals. I expected more critical thinking in this situation and unfortunately it was lacking. Honest mistake on their part I'm sure but my job is to advocate and protect my dog. After I said please don't put your face near hers as she's my nervous girl they refused to administer any vaccines without a muzzle. Which I declined as there was no indication for a muzzle. Only proper safety precautions being taken. After this was said they started belittling me and being condescending asking if I understood liability and how it's policy for them to muzzle a dog who had previously bitten a human. Which again has NEVER happened. I was very overwhelmed at the unprofessional tones and lack of knowledge of basic animal safety that I stated that I would be more comfortable having my dog seen elsewhere and I would like to pay for what had been done and leave. I was then met with more condescension about how great other local vets in the area were and good luck. Also the vet kept claiming that she didn't know my dogs so she could only go off of what she could see. Mind you she preformed my dogs spay three years ago and we've been patients there, with vet records to prove it, for the past FIVE YEARS. The only saving grace for this wasted appointment was that the front desk concierge was lovely and very helpful while checking out. (Also of course Mr. Muffin and Tiggy) I would strongly urge that if you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about your animals that you look elsewhere as we will be. If you're worried about low cost their prices are very fair! Do with that what you will. read more

We have been going to Dr Williams for many years and the care today was just as amazing as our first visit. Dr Williams truly cares about the pets and people she cares for. She always listens and takes care of our needs. Always feel welcome in this office which speaks volumes about her staff. Once again a reflection her Dr Williams great leadership. I am very impressed with the staff at Peach Orchard. The doctor herself actually called to check on my dog the day after the exam. She didn't have a staff member call but took the time to make the call herself. Every office staff member was very professional and pleasant to deal with. It was a great experience. Our 15 year old Cocker Spaniel was at the end of a long battle with CHF and kidney failure. It was time to say goodbye to her. We called our regular vet explained the distress she was in (loss of bowel control, severe seizures, ect.). We were told there were no openings, and seem disinterested in trying to fit us in. Their suggestion, try another vet!!! So we did. We contacted Peach Orchard Veterinary Hospital. They had no idea who we were and had never seen our girl before. After a brief conversation they made room for us in THEIR FULLY BOOKED SCHEDULE. They treated our girl with such kindness and love like they had known her all her life. They helped us cross her over the rainbow bridge with dignity and compassion. We would highly recommend Peach Orchard Veterinary Hospital to anyone. When and if the time ever comes for another pet, they will definitely be our choice!!! read more

The Vet has changed here, so you'll need to pay more attention to new reviews. The new doctor is a female and she is fabulous. I chose to go to her after she helped my friend with her dogs end of life process. She's very good, loves animals and should breath a whole new life into this practice. From what I read it was probably time the previous person retired... But if you go here now you will not be sorry. I found her prices to be overly reasonable... Yes, overly. Also, she is USDA certified for anyone who is taking their pet to another country (like me). read more

Our rescue uses Dr Williams. She is a great vet and the staff is fantastic. I absolutely would recommend this vet!

I work nearby and we had someone hit a cat on the highway nearby. The poor baby was dying and we could not bear to see it suffer. I called them and they were so compassionate and willing to help us. There was no way to save the cat, which was heartbreaking, but they were so fast to make him comfortable and take him out of pain. I am so appreciative for their help. I still cried - but am so happy that baby isn't hurting anymore. read more

Dr. Addie Williams took over this practice several years ago. She is incredibly attentive to the animals she is brought, and she is very communicative with the animals' people. She is thorough and very thoughtful in offering alternative treatments. We've had our critters (dogs and cats) there for everything from routine shots and exams to double leg breaks, snake bites, other dog bites - the usual things when you live in the country. If Dr. Addie doesn't have the tools to do it, she'll make a recommendation (or two) about who can (the double broken leg required surgery that was beyond their equipment at their office). The staff is also wonderful - very good with critters (they do the front office counter as well as assist with procedures and such), and have sunny dispositions, welcoming smiles. As a previous reviewer noted, the doctors have changed. Dr. Williams is just perfect. We take all our animals here. She is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and considerate. Every time we come in, we know our fur babies are getting the best care in the area. I have referred two co-workers here as well due to the amazing staff. I find Dr. Harvey very helpful and considerate. His office staff is very nice and gentle with my animals. He has done nothing but show concern for my animals and me. When I had to put my cat down he was wonderful. He knew how difficult this was for me (my cat was 17 and we had had him his entire life) and showed the greatest sympathy. I would recommend this clinic to anyone. Also, his prices seem to be fair, fairer than most in the area. read more

What can I say !! Dr. Addie Williams is the best ~ Having a wild and crazy Weim he decided he wanted to eat and swallow a large piece of nylon object...Called on the ER number and within a few minutes Dr. Williams called me back and told me to bring him in first thing in the morning. Took him in and she could tell he wasn't feeling well so proceeded taking radiographs...at that time she gave me options of what we can do. Was sent to the ER vet in Columbia to see if they would be able to retrieve the item with scope...as they were not able to get the item with the scope they recommend surgery, at that time I wanted to have Dr. Williams do it which she did first thing the next morning. After surgery she called and let me know exactly everything she did. During his week stay with her he was cooked and fed chicken and rice (I mean how awesome is that)!!!
