After the appt they billed my old insurance, so I had to call them about that, and then they billed me for a no-show from three months prior, although I had left them a voice mail saying I needed to cancel. I called them to explain this but kept getting bills for the no-show months later. Kept calling them and emailing them about it, and the no-show bill kept coming. It took months to resolve. I attempted contacting the V.A. For several months, to no avail. It's was very time consuming. Well I called the Doctors office to see if there was a possibility of me paying out of pocket. But after getting a warm introduction to Tina, she expressed deep concern with my Delima. She asked me to please let her try her skills at getting the ball moving. After letting her take the reins, Tina not only got the approval same day, but she also set me up for a visit for my crown work that same day. His assistant, Sejja, attempted to make the temporary crown 2 times on the first visit, but she never could do it, so she had to let Aniah finish the job. Sejja did a really bad job, and the temporary was just barely hanging on the tooth. Two days later, part of the crown came off, so I had to return to the clinic. During this visit, Sejja attempted 5 times to make the temporary, but she still couldn't do it, so she turned it over, once again, to another person to finish the job. In my opinion, this is total incompetence! I have had 10 crowns made at other clinics, and I never experienced this problem before. However, it gets worse from here: Sejja made the mold for the permanent crown, and she also messed that up. The crown has an indention at the top, that makes it extremely difficult to floss the area. When I floss, it creates pain and bleeding in the gum line. She also messed up on the night guard, and it's a difficult fit. This young lady messed up on EVERYTHING she did! I have never experienced this before at any other dentist! I told Arjun Parikh, and he laughed in my face, and he came across to me as arrogant and narcissistic. He told me he stands behind the faulty work that Sejja did. I went to another dentist, and the new dentist told me the tooth needs to be extracted, because I have bone loss, and that I would need a bone graft. THEREFORE, JOHNS CREEK DENTAL STUDIO MADE A CROWN FOR A TOOTH THAT NEEDS TO BE EXTRACTED. I BELIEVE THIS IS DENTAL MALPRACTICE, AND I AM CURRENTLY HAVING THIS In review, here are the problems that Johns Creek Dental created for me: 1. Pain in the gumline, between the two upper right molars, that gets much worse when I eat certain foods that get trapped between these teeth. Before this permanent crown, I never had a problem with food getting stuck between these teeth. 2. Pain between the two upper right molars from flossing in that area. The pain can become pretty bad. 3. Inflammation between those two teeth, mostly caused from flossing, but also from eating. 4. Extreme difficulty flossing between those two teeth, because Johns Creek Dental Studio created a jagged area at the top of the crown, so the dental floss doesn't glide smoothly. Out of the 10 total crowns I have had done from other dentists, this is the only crown that has this problem, so Johns Creek cannot try to say that this problem is normal. 5. A bulky crown that doesn't feel natural, as compared to the other nine crowns, from other dentists. 6. The gum line between those two molars bleeds very easily when I floss that area. I never had this problem with the bleeding before Johns Creek Dental Studio made this crown. I will strongly encourage everyone to stay away from Johns Creek Dental Studio!

When calling for hours to find an oral surgeon for an urgent condition, I was blessed enough to speak with Isabelle. She answered my questions about insurance and was able to fit me in that afternoon due to a cancellation. Isabelle was very helpful, kind, and extremely calming and caring when I was very anxious and worried. When I arrived, I checked in with Jessie who had a personality that was welcoming, friendly, and very bubbly. Together Isabelle and Jessie were a dream team and went above and beyond for me. Both ladies had such positive attitudes, were so respectful to one another with the kind words they used when interacting with one another and the other patients. I met with Dr. Cho who was very timely, direct, informative, and suggested an immediate plan of action. Dr. Cho answered all of my questions thoroughly and allowed me to me to feel at ease and I instantly felt very confident snd comfortable with my upcoming surgery. The team was able to fit me in right before Christmas, as opposed to having to wait until January, which was beyond appreciated. Jessie stayed late to call insurance companies, after her work hours and even called me to give me an update on what to expect. This is unheard of in a world of mediocre at best service and communication. Jessie's clear communication and immediate follow-up were amazing! She scheduled my procedure for the following day, amazingly! Another member of the team called me to follow up after the procedure was completed to see how I was feeling and asked did I have any questions or concerns since arriving home. Together the team resolved my issue and made it such a positive experience. Overall, this team was amazing and such a blessing to me! Their kindness, professionalism, and exceptional service were appreciated and I want them to be recognized and applauded for the role each played in getting me back to being healthy. He said he could fix it if he could get the posts out. He used something that hammered like a mini jackhammer. After 3 hrs. of hammering, he finally got them out. He looked at his assistant and said, "it won't work." He walked out without saying a word to me. His assistant walked out without a word and came back with about a 5,000 dollar estimate for a four tooth bridge. I paid 300 dollars for the vibration, plus 90 dollars for the initial visit. I left and the next day a four tooth bridge in the top rear fell out because it was loosened by the vibrations. Now after several years of barely being able to eat one of the broken teeth from the vibrations is abscessed and I am searching for somewhere to get relief.

I want to leave my objective experience with Avenue Dental. I had sent the office all my images/X-rays including panoramic images that were taken prior to the visit. The visit was for cleaning. For some reason not known to me they took X-rays and I was told that the office does this and I will not be charged. They billed the insurance with my Gold Cigna Plan and received payment in full at 100% coverage. And then they sent me a bill of $94 for X-rays. So all in all they want to receive a huge payment for routine cleaning. Please find other dentists who are plentiful in and near Suwanee/Cumming/nearby areas and who care for patients: and most importantly where you do not have to pay a dime for routine cleaning with any dental insurance.
