I stopped at Peach Street Grill while staying in Tellico Plains during a motorcycle trip and had a very good experience. Traveling solo, I sat at the bar and immediately felt welcome. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. I appreciated that they kept both my soda and water refilled without me having to ask. I ordered the salmon with bacon Brussels sprouts and fries. Liked that they volunteered that I could swap the rice for any other side. The salmon was cooked well, flavorful, and served with a house aioli that paired nicely with the fish. The bacon Brussels sprouts were excellent and probably my favorite part of the meal. Portions were generous, and the meal was filling enough that I wasn't able to finish everything on the plate. After a long day of riding in the heat, I was looking for something a little lighter than a burger or fried food, and this was exactly what I was hoping to find. The restaurant was also conveniently located within walking distance of where I was staying, which made it an easy choice after spending the day on the motorcycle. Good food, personable service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I would happily eat here again the next time I'm in Tellico Plains. read more

There's a lot that Peach Street is doing right. The restaurant is beautiful, the service is top knotch, and most of the dishes we had were great. I knocked a star off because my smash burger was not thin, smashed patties, but rather 1 regular sized burger patty. Bummer! Dishes I tried and love: THE TROUT! My friend & I picked Peach Street Grill as our lunch spot today. This place is so welcoming & the staff outstanding. Excellent place to bring your loved one for a special date. We ordered the Hummus Wrap with a small Caesar salad. The croutons are freshly made with a great crunchy taste, lite on dressing but that is how we like it. The wrap was big enough that we could have shared it. Delicious. Try the hot tea it hit the spot on this rainy afternoon. I will definitely bring my husband here soon. As regular visitors to Tellico Plains (our not-so-secret hide-away), we are delighted to discover Peach Street Grill and Tellico Brewing, next door. This charming town is overdue for some viable services, places to relax and soak up the pleasant scenery and cool summer afternoons. On a slow Wednesday evening we sat ourselves down at Tellico Brewing, an outstanding local micro-brew establishment. We began with a tasting and graduated from there. We could order from several local eateries. Peach Street Grill, next door delivered a generous hummus plate and a delicious Cubano with an upgrade of sweet potato waffle fries. With both indoor and outdoor dining, this new establishment is a great place to cool down after a hike, bike-ride, or a visit to Bald River Falls. read more

The food was AMAZING!! We will definitely be returning and are so glad our original plans failed so that we found this place. The pretzel sticks are amazing! I had the seasonal offering of French Onion soup which was SO good I regretted only getting a cup and even text my mom about. The blackened shrimp tacos were great and my son loved his smash burger. I've been here a few times. Mostly take out. Staff is friendly and the food is better than a lot of places around! Cons- prices are kind of high for example the boneless chicken wings. Almost $12 and you only get 6. So almost $2 for a "chicken nugget" in a way. Got the bruschetta chicken. Chicken was extremely bland but cooked very well. The rice had more flavor. Not worth $21. Pot stickers, black bean burger, and truffle fries are all very good! It's kind of a hit or miss on the food for the price but recommend trying it for yourself! over all the food is nice but a little pricey. read more

Great new restaurant in Monroe County. Although they have great burgers, this is not a local burger joint. The food is quality with the service to match. My wife had the Rainbow Trout. It came served on a Cedar Plank and topped with a lemon herbed butter. She loved it! I had the grilled Ribeye steak with chimichurri sauce. The steak was perfectly cooked to MR the way I ordered it. They have quality steaks from local grass fed beef (fresh, never frozen) and the chimichurri was fantastic. This is not our first time eating here and it surely won't be our last. The inside has a great "vibe" that has to be experienced and the food and service are 5 star. This restaurant is a must try. read more

Went last night and got there about 615. Not to crowded and got sat in a few minutes. First thing we noticed was a little Smokey in the place, not sure if the hood system was working properly or not. We could still smell it on us when we got in the car later. We ordered an appetizer of mushroom risotto cheese ball and it was really good. There we 4 in our party so we got 2 orders - 2 balls per order ($12) it also had a kale pesto salad with it and was good. 1 person got the Cajun pasta and enjoyed it another got the trout with Brussel sprouts and he enjoyed it. Another got the fish and chips and the fish and garlic aioli was nice with it, the fries we ok but could have been crispier seemed like they sat a bit. The final was the peach street burger with Brussel sprouts (up charge) the burger was WELL DONE and had no juice at all and no flavor only part of it got eaten. She actually wanted the short rib tacos but they were out of them, have been told they are great. I tried the burger and will eat most anything and I would not eat it. Hahaha. The brussel sprouts had bacon in them and this order had lots of fatty pieces in them. The service was good and staff was very friendly. We are local and this is our first time here. The other 2 have been there before and enjoy it most of the time. Hopefully this was just an off night for the kitchen. We will try it again just to see if this is the norm or just a bad night. read more

Ordered the bang bang shrimp tacos and having fresh cilantro was a treat since fresh herbs of any kind are not available or hard to get. Another positive is the atmosphere and decor are very nice. Then another plus is their specialty drinks menu -- ordered two different cocktails and both were very good. The cons are prices are a bit high . The drinks are not very big and didn't feel like they had much alcohol in them @ $12 each Staff was friendly but sitting at the bar the service was slow. Took forever to take my food . there was only one bartender serving entire restaurant and a good sized bar. I was obviously ready to go and another patron got the attention of staff so I could get my check. So bottom line is not a GREAT experience. I'm happy to pay for good food, but hoped for entire experience to be great. $50 check - one person - 2 drinks - and an order of tacos. Just wish it was more attentive service and the cocktails were a little more 'generous'. read more

Was hoping for a good meal. Ugh. Waited 20 mins for drink order. Waited another 15 for the order to be taken. They were out of about 4 things on the menu. Order took another 20 mins to come, all had fries and no ketchup, another 5 mins to get the ketchup. Cuban had no cheese or ham or pickles, only pork and mustard. Ribeye sandwich missing cheese and served on a very very stale roll that broke apart. Fish and chip batter was not cooked all the way through and Brussels sprouts were cold. I went to the Peach Street Grill during a weekend visit to Tellico Plains. I'd searched Yelp for restaurants with a bar and we definitely were impressed by the staff and quality of craft drinks made with homemade fruit syrups we tried on Sunday afternoon. So tasty and fun. The beers were delicious too. We didn't eat because we had food at the cabin but everything we saw being served looked amazing. The restaurant friendly with a very nice interior, lounge, and patio and everything looks newly finished. I'd recommend going there anytime you're in or near Tellico Plains. read more

Cute place on Peach Street.....modern, clean and friendly. We were there with friends and ordered the special Brisket Rueben in our opinion it could have used more sauerkraut . French Press coffee was fun, our friend had never had it before.. no regular coffee offered. All food arrived piping hot And the soup as an extra was a nice sized bowl and had a spicy aftertaste. The wait staff didn't know the spice but my husband loved it. So give this place a try for a nice experience. We will be back when in the area again. read more

Who knew? We had a delightful dinner at this hidden gem in Tellico Plains! It's in an area of a sleepy town that is being rejuvenated. You can really appreciate the dedication & work they've put into PSG. We also had a young entertainer serenade us with country hits, thoroughly enjoyed that too. Our first time here. We were disappointed that we couldn't order wine as their liquor license hadn't come through, but we were happy with our beers!
