This was an amazing stop and find on our way home from camp!!! Everything we had was delicious. We started with the cheese curds, they were perfectly fried. Each of us had different burgers. I like this place! While the ice cream good, it isn't transcendent in any way. The experience is where it's at. Open aired and in a rural part of Athens, it is a joy to sit in there spacious well maintained facilities. You will also get your order fast and with a smile. Arrived after the lunch rush and it was freezing outside. Was worried they might not be open but they were! The building they're located in has roll up doors for the spring/summer/fall time and when they're down they have VERY good working heaters on the ceiling. We were toasty the whole time we were eating. The staff were very friendly and put up with asking for all the little stuff like extra honey mustard, pickles on the side and such. The food was superb!!! I got the chicken sandwich as a wrap with tator tots, my younger son got a grilled cheese sandwich with fries, my older son got a burger with fries. My husband got the signature burger and the beer battered fries. All of the food was sooooo good! Literally no complaints about anything in that department!!! I also got a sample of the blackberry yogurt and it was to die for! I love that they even have a drive through so when we come back next time we can get more food They also have car shows every month on the last Saturday of the month. Much needed place for a new business in our county and great indoor outdoor seating! Plus you can get your car washed while you're there too.. I'm not a big fan of the Oreo milkshakes compared to other places but they've gotta lotta flavors to choose from. I can't wait to try another next time.. read more

The burgers were great and hot and well charred. I will definitely be back. We all rated it 8.5 out of 10. The onion rings and fries were good and we enjoyed the shakes too. The sweet tea was 7/10. Service was quick and correct. You can drive thru or eat in the slightly heated covered area. There is more seating outside if you have pets. The parking lot is huge. You can shop nearby at the outfitters store or get an excellent car wash! read more

Coke Zero. it tasted like sweet tea very flat. so i ask for something different. so I got regular coke. it also tasted like sweet tea very flat. I could not drink it it was so sweet. so that was the price of a 44oz drink wasted. I would recommend bring your own drinks. But I'll go somewhere else next time. read more

They forgot our potato salad, spoons and napkins so we had to go back. Food and service was fine.

I wanted this to be good so bad. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt but was very disappointed. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger, BBQ sandwich, tenders, fries, and hot dog. We also got tea and lemonade. The good: the tenders were hot, the tea tasted homemade (though weak) and the hot dog was thick and tasty. The disappointing: They forgot the cheese on the burger, it had a burned dirty grill taste and was dry. Tip: stop mashing the burgers on the grill- I watched him do it. Also, have to add your own packaged ketchup, mayo or mustard. The fries: they were unsalted and taste exactly like the frozen things you buy at the grocery store. The BBQ: pretty sure this is Lloyd's bbq from the mass produced packages in the grocery store. Same with the slaw. Not fresh. Lemonade: Aka kool-aid. I'd rather go to mcdonald's next time. If I'm paying for generic mass produced food, I at least want it to taste good. As a prior chef and foodie I have lots of ideas to improve that I'd be happy to share. read more
