I have been a long-term patient at at this clinic for years and when you ever have a complaint the call center supervisor is so unprofessional and is abusive and I have experienced repeated issues with provider continuity, appointment handling, and customer service that have significantly affected my health and well-being. Over the past several years: * My original provider, Dr. Tanya, left the practice. * My subsequent provider went on leave. * I have been waiting over a year and a half to enroll in a PTSD class; a manager previously promised assistance but has been on leave, with no further follow-up. More recently, I have been ill for over 3.5 weeks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On March 9th , I called the call center as instructed to report I would be late for my appointment and to request a telephone visit. The representative advised me to go to urgent care instead. Upon arriving at urgent care, I spoke with a manager who apologized and stated the call center should have immediately messaged the clinic on my behalf.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The clinic staff were very helpful and kind.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The supervisor assured me a doctor would call me back that day due to the severity of my symptoms. No call occurred. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I followed up with the call center and requested to speak to a supervisor, I was connected to Aundrea. During this call: * She was argumentative and unprofessional. * She showed no compassion despite my explaining my ongoing illness and recent urgent care visit (where providers suggested possible cancer or thyroid issues, though ER tests later ruled this out). * She referenced a phone interaction from over 2 years ago, treated me as problematic, spoke dismissively, and refused to assist. * She declined to contact the clinic or help resolve the issue[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I requested the earliest available appointment with my provider, Dr. Ngyuin (or current assigned provider), and asked for clarification on their status/availability. I also noted prior issues, including a rushed March 2 telephone appointment where the doctor only addressed allergies, refused other concerns, promised a follow-up call that never happened, and required me to reschedule independently (which a helpful representative did for March 9). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Despite these requests, I received no further communication from the clinic or doctor as promised.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Due to worsening symptoms, I went to the emergency room, where testing confirmed a serious infection (including giardiasis) and a nasty virus. I was very ill and required treatment. My primary concerns are: 1. Repeated failure to follow through on promises (e.g., doctor callback, PTSD class enrollment assistance). 2. I went through hell trying to get care from peach tree... the doctors are always very late, they don't do their jobs , they don't send in referrals when we ask for them ..they might spend 5 minutes with us , rude and condescending & speed talking , never doing what they should do , wasting our time, our money and what little patience we have ...then after I left the county and was no longer with them , they kept sending me fraudulent bills for over 263.00 ..they have caused me nothing but grief and a loss of time & is it any wonder why people are in fourth and fifth stages of cancer by the time they are diagnosed, with such rampant incompetency from doctors ..[[HIGHLIGHT]]the supervisors never call you back ,,, I had to call them many times for them to tell me I don't owe anything, but they refused to send me a letter of apology[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] , for their many errors and a letter to document that I do not owe them anything ,,I am beyond furious with peach tree.. like so many other medical clinics, they have traded the Hippocratic oath for a self centered oath of hypocrisy, padding their own wallets, putting profits over people all the time ..shame on you peach tree ..God is watching and He is not pleased ... The clinic is closed. The call center informed me yesterday that Peachtree no longer takes appointments shorter than 2 months out. She also told me that they only offer urgent walk ins now. I have to change my family's pcp now. This happening without reason and without any notice is crazy. read more

Avoid this place at all costs. My son recently aged out of his pediatrician's care, and the insurance company auto-assigned him to PeachTree. He called to make an appointment for vaccinations required for his school's nursing program, drove 40 minutes on the appointment day, only to be told there was no appointment for him and the LVN was in fact not even there that day. Went back the following day for Varicella and Hep B vaccines, and they gave him Polio and Hep B. THEY GAVE HIM THE WRONG VACCINE. When he questioned it, the front desk staff told them that he could not talk to the nurse and that there was nothing they could do. When he got home, I insisted he call the office and speak to the practice manager. Whoever he spoke with told him Polio and Varicella are interchangeable. They then called back a few minutes later to say no, not true, he needs to come back again for the Varicella shot (yet another 40-minute drive). I am flabbergasted that they gave him the wrong vaccination, and that the front desk staff blew him off - maybe because he's young, they think they can push him around. In any event, we will be switching PCPs. The level of incompetence is mind-boggling, and the customer service is non-existent. EDIT REVIEW - 7/26/2024 It gets worse. He went for a final TB shot. He knew he had to wait 48 hours for it to be read, but the nurse gave him an appointment prior to the 48-hour deadline. He arrived at the office at 11:30, waited an hour, then was told the LVN wasn't in. He asked for someone else to check his results (like they couldn't think of that on their own). They then tried to gaslight him into agreeing that he had NOT had a TB test two days prior because their LVN didn't properly document the test in their systems. Thankfully he had a form SIGNED BY THE LVN as proof that he had had a TB test, and yet they still tried to convince him that he did not have that TB test. After FIVE hours, they finally signed off on his TB test. What an absolute disaster...clown show...circus. No one here knows what they're doing and they gaslight their patients. I worry for the patients who may not know how to navigate the medical system, patients who may not have English as a first language, patients who are young and inexperienced, etc. Basically, if they can push their patients around, they will. There is no leadership, no one willing to take charge, no training of staff, just absolute chaos. We thankfully now have all the necessary forms my son needs for his nursing program, so will be switching PCPs and will no longer have to deal with these incompetent fools. It's been more than four years since I went to this clinic, but the memories are terrible. I thought I'd forget it, but I remember it every day. After suffering from COVID-19, I came to this clinic. When I mentioned the complaints to my doctor, the doctor went to Google, looked at my symptoms, and prescribed medications and treatments. I might as well do it myself and not pay a lot of money for health insurance that doesn't cover anything and doesn't pay to see a doctor. It was a kind of horror. My head hurt a lot and there was pressure on my eyes from the inside, the doctor said go buy glasses. It turned out that my blood pressure was very high. There are still a lot of funny stories to tell about this clinic. I felt really bad, but I told you it wouldn't get any better because you were old. But I'm not old according to American law, I'm not even proud of retirement age like that. read more

Updating my experience. This clinic just can't get it together. I lost my old doctor last May, wasn't able to get established with a primary care provider all the way the rest of the year. after telling me to call back every single day to see if I could get an appointment since their providers supposedly only had schedules open for 3 months at a time, no matter when I called back even if it was the 1st day of the month all appts were taken every 3 months. I only got a new patient establishment appointment back in November for March 2025 because I called anthem blue cross and complained that they didn't provide timely care. Then magically they had an appt available for me. But then to top it off, they recently just put me in a horrible position in regards to my medication. I've been on wegovy since May 23rd through an online telehealth provider. Due to rising costs I got tired of paying the monthly membership and my provider stated she could take it over. I asked her several times was she sure, and I also immediately warned her what my starting weight and bmi was when I started day 1, this is super important because a lot of insurances will start to deny covering the meds when you reach a goal weight/normal weight and normal BMi and they do it despite the fact wegovy is considered a life long medicine. So it's really dumb, but I've not had a problem with the telehealth provider they're all very aware to submit it to insurance with your starting weight. The provider wrote down my next day I ran out of my meds, wrote down and said oh it should be fine and I'll take that into consideration. Did the provider order the meds right? No? Insurance denied it because she didn't listen to a damn word I said! She used my current weight and now they're like denying it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called like 5 times last week explaining to the front office so they could send a message I'm due to take meds yesterday and they still couldn't get it together, listen to me at all.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Because of their huge mistake I'm scrambling trying to go back through old telehealth because of how freaking incompetent all the workers at peach tree are? Letting me run out of meds that can make me sick to re inject once my prescription is available it'll be 3-5 days after I was due. I'm used to a PPO insurance where if there is a reason for medication seeing specialist isn't always necessary, but again for an essentially free clinic I can get with the program. This place is terrible. At first I liked this place because of how close it is to my house but after going there a few times, I've realized they have a lot of issues. My issue is not with the provider. Dr. Rastogi was wonderful with my children but when it came time for the vaccines, the staff informed me they were out of stock for the vaccines. Which was very concerning to me being that they are a medical clinic. So I said okay, and agreed to having another appt for vaccines which was going to be in 2 weeks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The day of my appt came and I got a phone call one hour before my appt that they were still out of stock and had no timeframe of when they were going to be coming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They said they would call me the following day, which they did not. I had to call multiple times, finally after a few more weeks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They told me they could finally see my son for his vaccines. So fast forward to today 2/3/2025, I needed to schedule an appt for my daughter because she has a fever, they said they're closed for at least 2 weeks due to a flood in the office. So it's just a lot of built up issues that caused me to have to change PCP. But again the issue had nothing to do with provider. She was great! read more

My primary care doctor retired and Peach Tree Health (PTH) North Sacramento opened near my house so I gave them a try. I wasn't ill but I needed refills on a few prescriptions. Routine labs were ordered by the doctor I saw and I used their in house Quest lab. Soon after I received a huge bill for lab services. Quest billed over 2K and my portion was over $700. I thought it had to be a mistake and called them. It turns out the doctor didn't correctly code some of the tests ordered, but they said they would correct the coding. [[HIGHLIGHT]]For 9 months I struggled with their facility to get the coding corrected on 6 tests, denied for lack of billing codes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Every month the manager I spoke to, Joy, or Edward, promised it was being taken care of, and every month a new bill arrived without any changes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Then in August Joy from PTH claimed they don't have to correct the billing because I signed an Advanced Beneficiary Notification (ABN), end of story. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I didn't have much better luck dealing with Quest, they are very hard to reach, but looked up the cost of each test in question online and paid Quest just to get the matter behind me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But Quest sent a bill for the balance anyway. I spoke to them and was told that because of the ABN they can "charge anything they want" and they will not accept their posted prices as payment in full. I have filed an appeal with my insurance company because if they cover the tests it would cost a small fraction of what I am being billed, literally a few cents on some of them. I also filed a complaint with the Medical Board of CA. But my advice is to steer clear of this clinic and Quest for that matter. And do NOT sign an ABN with either of them, they are using this document to over charge patients. read more

Still, she recently called me and told me she had experienced some quality service when she attended her appointment. She was pleasantly surprised by the kindness and professionalism of a girl named Monique who worked checking people in. It's now 10:20am and everyone checking in has been getting called back. So it doesn't matter if you're here early or show up at your schedule appt time you're going to WAIT... At least we are for medi-cal patients. If that's how they treat us. They allow a 15 min grace period after appt time to get here or else it would be rescheduled but they can't even make sure their patients are seen within those 15mins. RIDICULOUS! read more

So when this facility was brand new it was pretty nice, I can't say it's in terrible shape or anything but it falls in line with your typical, Medi-Cal only facilities. It's a little bit nicer because it's newer, but I wouldn't say staff is amazing. There's always new medical assistants every two months when I go in, so the turnover rate seems to be pretty high. The medical staff in general often seem pretty new as well, I've had some good experiences with doctors, some not so good experiences with doctors. One experience when my doctor was out on maternity leave was with a physicians assistant, he was very clearly stressed out, and not having a great day when I went to see him. I had requested Weygovy instead of Ozempic so that I did not have to give myself a daily injection, but rather a weekly injection. If you have the option of doing a weekly or daily injection for the same medication, which medication would you prefer? He literally argued with me and told me it was the same med, and that he wasn't going to change it for me and I needed to wait the couple months until my Dr came back. He was rude about it, very clearly had a naturally sassy attitude, so I mentioned he seems to not be having a great day and that I'm not going to stick my self with a needle every day, if I don't have to! I don't think I was rude, I was literally matching his energy. He ended up giving me the meds I wanted, so he had the power just didn't want to do it. I left the exam room with only one of my two concerns addressed, went back for the other issue real fast and he was already gossiping about me to the medical assistant, because I saw them chatting then I saw the assistant look over at me with a scowl. When my doctor came back her and I spoke about it, and he very clearly made it seem to her like I was being unreasonable, because of the way she addressed the situation with me as well. I'm not a Karen folks, he was very clearly in the wrong, so that did not sit well with me having to deal with him. I try to be understanding of people, not judgmental, doctors, and doctors assistants are humans too and are entitled to having bad days. He mentioned he was being overworked, and they were understaffed and if I had a problem with it, I should go to their manager. The whole interaction was very unprofessional, but I digress, in the 10 years I've been going to this facility I've had at least three different doctors, they are usually pretty good about giving you whatever it is that you need, but none of them seem to enjoy their jobs. They're not happy to see you or greet you, they don't smile or at least my last one didn't, and I've had nothing but relatively pleasant interactions with her? I'm guessing they get tired of dealing with a lot of low income/homeless clients because that's the majority of the clientele. There are signs in every exam room, basically telling you not to ask for narcotics or highly controlled substances because they won't give them to you, which tells me they get asked a lot. I had unlimited Chiropractic and staffers at Peach Tree No. Sacto (Rosin Ct) tried to limit me to 2 visits a month. If I had come in with no insurance they would be required to give me weekly visits. Incompetent..!! Almost every time. Let me just start by laying out the flaws one at a time. But if you value your life an health care of your loved ones and self! Do NOT do business here. The call center staff are highly untrained and unprofessional at all times, rude, impatient and sarcastic to say the least!! Not to mention, they place you on hold for MINUTES and sometimes forget about you. Doctors don't do what they say they are going to do, meds are never put thru in time and or ever sent to pharmacy at all!!!! And having to again call back an get through to someone in the call center is a joke in itself, they have to take a message, and pass on the complaint to the doctor and now you have to wait AGAIN for the meds to go thru like they should have the first time. The referral department is a JOKE!! Takes days even sometimes weeks to get a simple referral to go through and again you have to call and inquire why?? And no one has a answer and wait times and phone holds are anywhere from 5 to 30 min at a time. Waiting room weight is ridiculous, if you have an appointment at 1 o'clock don't expect it to be seen until 145 you'll be sitting in the waiting room until then. There's no reason to rush to your appointment, but if you're late to an appointment then they cancel yours and give it away? But you're expected to wait when they're behind? Their customer service in house and over the phone is very poor the supervisors do not do their jobs even with complaints and nothing is done about it. My doctor sent me to a neurologist who give specific directions to my doctor stating not to send me to physical therapy for a spinal injury, I need surgery. And what does my doctor do? Send me to physical therapy or sent me to a pain management doctor that's not excepting patients until two months out? This is why people commit suicide for pain, because they'd rather keep you sick and fix the problem.... 1 cured and healthy Patient is one less customer. At least with Peach Tree that's their prerogative..... Don't expect anything less than a horrible health care service from these providers, they even are you with your insurance companies, the insurance company will give approval to whatever authorization and referrals given and they still won't process them properly or on time..! read more

I called my pharmacy 7 times and peach tree 5 times about my refill for my birth control pills. My recent provider left so I didn't have a doctor and they wouldn't give me a refill! They said another doctor has to okay it. Told me i would have to wait 24/48 hours to receive a refill. But i called so many times after to tell them I didn't receive anything yet. It should be very quick for a doctor to okay it. I have been calling about this since April 11th. It's April 17th. Birth control is supposed to prevent unwanted pregnancies, bc of Peach Tree i had to skip days of my pill. Just because my provider left doesn't mean they should tell me someone will refill it but leave me stranded if i already established care here! read more

INCOMPETENCE at the highest level. Not enough space to type it all out. Rude reception both times there. Waiting periods over 45 minutes when NOBODY is in the lobby. They prescribed me the wrong meds, not covered by the insurance. Both myself and CVS calling all week to get it changed, nobody bothers to call back. Called for the first time to make my new patient appointment and was immediately put on hold for about 4-5 minutes after giving my info. She then informed me that there were no appointments for 1-2 months and to call back within the next couple of days to see if there's any cancellations. What kind of place are they running here. This is ridiculous. read more

FACILITY: This new location is located in a plaza right behind Taco Bell. There's plenty of parking and pretty easy to find (right off the 80). The facility is brand new ad has a cute colorful theme to it with a mix of greens, oranges, and blue decor. It's very clean and super spacious so it's quite nice and refreshing. SERVICE: Now the workers are very friendly. Quite accommodating and some of them have pretty great personalities. Now for being a young female, with a fairly healthy profile, I came in for a new patient physical and previously came in for a TB test. Now, let me be up front with everything now, but I've worked as a medical assistant and medical scribe at a primary care office and am currently in nursing school so I kind of know the ins and outs of how an office runs, and what the role of a primary care provider is. Firstly, the blood pressure readings are always somewhat elevated. I'm not sure why exactly that is, but my BP was consistently 15 points higher. And this was something noted by the Ma/other patients she took blood pressures for as well. Secondly, I understand that this facility is new hence staff is new and not as trained either but the MA who did my tb shot administered it way too deep so there was no bubble. Furthermore, when she was telling me when I should back to check the test she kept calculating days incorrectly and also told me the incorrect time frame I could come back to check it (48-72hours). And lastly, my encounter with the FNP wasn't the most helpful either. But I take all this with a grain of salt since I am personally in the health field and have worked with a wonderful staff. There will always be kinks within the health care system and I see lots of growth with this clinic. I have hope for peach trees improvement! I'll rate it a 3.5 stars for the time being. But may come to improve with time! Edit: I also find it really dumb that they won't give you any lab results or have any type of online access prior to your appointment with the NP to review the results. Very extremely inconvenient. Very upset to leave this review. I've came here 2x last year one time for my son for his physical and one time for myself with the same doctor. The doctor is no longer there barely lasted that year and he really didn't care much for my visit when I went just made my visit uncomfortable and to definitely seek another doctor he did alright with my son just the minimum. The clinic is clean all the way around and staff is usually nice but sometimes will encounter some careless staff members. On the phone as other reviews have stated I've called recently to make an appt and they told me we have no appointments for a whole month and are trying to refer me out to another clinic or the other clinic they have downtown/midtown but not sure if they have even contracted with my insurance. So, seems like physicians don't last here not sure why It's in a nice location right off freeway with good parking and looks like a new facility but because of lack of available physicians that never last I am now going to seek a different clinic because I need a primary physician and need stability. So sad was excited for this clinic and just seems like it's going down hill. read more

My mom has Medicare and Peach Tree has been a good form of care for her because of the convenience and affordability. My mom speaks Vietnamese and I was able to find a Vietnamese doctor for her and the transfer was fairly easy besides the scheduling. They schedule everything 3 weeks out so if you need to see your doctor, you most likely won't be able to unless you get on a cancelation list and someone backs out. Overall it's a convenience provider because they have a optic and quest diagnostic in the building. read more

I have Medi-Cal and a complicated medical condition. I Have a Thyroid condition and Lupus. There isn't one Reumatologist in Sacramento willing to take Medi-Cal patients. Im grateful for Peach Tree. My doctor is amazing and has not only found my conditions that caused me to have to stop working, but is treating them successfully. Sometimes it takes 6 weeks to get an appointment, but that is not their fault. They are packed with people who need help and have terrible insurance.there are too many of u and not enough of them. Came here and waited in line for 15 mins. Didn't even acknowledge me until I started to look mad. Told me "Sorry about the wait we will be right with you". Checked me in two mins after that. I was just a little irritated because we have places to be. The least you can do is check us in at least before anything and mind you there was a line after me of 3 people. My vet doesn't even take that long to check in my pet as much as this place does. read more

Room wasn't even clean upon entering, table paper wasn't changed and supplies left out from the person beforethat's so unsanitary. 27 minutes and counting waiting on the doc.... and only one other person in the lobby. read more

Wonderful staff and front desk. We went for eye exam and doctor was very detail and thought! We are surprised for great service during Covid19. Although it was kind of far but well worth for ther drive. The receptionist check temperature and make sure patient n family wear mask before enter medical office. We feel very comfortable n friendly environment! read more

Call everyday to check if you can schedule an appointment?? I just switched to Peach Tree to try it out despite reviews. I called to make an appointment with the new PCP & they advised they don't have anything available for the next 5 weeks (which is fine - I get it) BUT, I'm supposed to call back everyday because they don't schedule out past 5 weeks...so, I'm to call everyday to see if I can get an appointment? Really? Because I clearly have time to worry about that everyday until I can get an appointment. The scheduler was nice, but, couldn't do anything since it's the policy? I've never had a doctors office refuse to schedule past 5 weeks. Looks like I'll be switching to another PCP August 1st. I'm on a medication that has to be reviewed every 3 months...clearly more than 5 weeks & I'm not dealing with the "call everyday" nonsense. Really wish I knew this information before I made the change as now I am stuck with this place for a month. Leaving this here for future people looking to switch. Review is based upon the difficulty with scheduling only since I've never been & looks like I probably never will be. read more

Went to Peach Tree Vision today off of Northgate near I-80 for an in-depth eye exam. Quality from start to finish. Jordan is a former student of mine and she did a great job with all of the scans in preparation for the exam. Dr. Soracco was very thorough, explained everything clearly, and was professionally pleasant. Jordan and Judy were professional and nice to deal with too. I'm glad their office is only 6 minutes from work. read more

I did not have high expectations when I called to schedule an appointment. My aged parents are on Medi-cal and we have never really had positive experiences with different clinics they went to in the past. I lost my work sponsored insurance 6 months after I was diagnosed with cancer, had to get insurance from Covered California for over a year, and now I'm on Medi-cal. I expected the same kind of clinic and service my parents were receiving, but I was wrong. I was lucky to be able to get a same day appointment which I never expected. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and accommodating, so was the medical assistant and the Family Nurse practitioner. I do not mind seeing a FNP instead of a medical doctor as long as I get the care that I need, because that was how it was anyway with my previous primary doctor - it was usually difficult to get an appointment with the doctor and we would end up seeing a physician assistant or NP. I love that the place is newly renovated, bright and clean. In addition, they have a Vision center and a Quest diagnostics on site, and they will also be opening an urgent/immediate care soon. read more

I was at peach tree this morning at 5730 packard ave . They make sure that you have a mask on and they check your temperature. Once you are in the waiting room you can see people remove their masks and nobody says anything. I ask the checkers at the door if that was ok. She said no. Once they are inside we can't control them on keeping their masks on. So once inside you have people with and without masks. I pointed to a women with two children in tow and no masks at all. I said see that women over there with no mask on and two kids that's not right is it. It was plain clear that the worker being Hispanic like me wasn't gonna go and tell a white women to put her mask on and obey the rules. I was disgusted because she let the women get away without a mask. I quess their rules apply only to certain people. They do their job as you are coming in but once you are inside they don't give a shit if you get infected or not. Too afraid to tell people to obey the rules like everybody else. I'm glad that I'm moving away and don't have to deal with such incompetence anymore. read more
