I went to Peach Street Immediate Care on Monday with a 5:40 appointment and arrived early at 5:30. Despite that, I was left sitting in the waiting room until 6:30 with zero updates or explanation. Completely unprofessional, and honestly disrespectful of a patient's time. When I finally got to the back, the provider rushed through the exam so fast it felt like she couldn't wait to leave the room. She didn't review any of the information I had already given the intake nurse, didn't acknowledge the symptoms I came in for, and didn't even mention my high blood pressure. I came in for a possible UTI, and instead of assessing anything properly, she asked one quick question and was practically out the door. I had to stop her myself to bring up my copper IUD and other important details she would've known if she had looked at my chart. Her lack of empathy, attention, and basic professionalism was infuriating. I genuinely don't feel like I was cared for at all. What makes it worse is that I paid $250 for this visit -- and honestly, I could have self-diagnosed and used WISP for a fraction of the cost and received better, more thoughtful care. The only positive part of the visit was the front desk staff and the intake nurse. Everyone else made this experience awful. I won't be returning. There is absolutely no reason a patient with a scheduled appointment should wait an hour with no communication or receive such careless, rushed medical care. I'll be choosing a different urgent care from now on. read more

I booked an appointment online for 2:30, I get there 2:25 they tell me it's going to be a bit of wait bc they only have one provider. She couldn't give a time but said 6 people. Um I booked an advance to avoid the extended wait time. This office is completely unprofessional and frustrating. The receptionist was very rude and told my dad that couldn't walk that they couldn't take walk ins without offering any other alternatives. I scheduled an appointment time for 11:15am, arrived at 10:45am. I left without being seen at 12:30 pm! I was never updated on the status of my visit while I sat patiently waiting. I finally ask to speak with the Practice Manager, she was not in but called on a phone so that she could speak with me and did apologize. I will never visit this location again!!! Yesterday I went in for a Covid testing having been exposed to someone with the virus. The warmth professionalism and support that both the office staff and Kamili gave me blew me away! I was scared not knowing what to expect and Kamili gave tremendous support while educating me about Covid and the process I was about to go through. I went to this location on 12/4/2023 with a scheduled appointment at 3:45PM. While completing the final document asking mental health questions, I received a text message to change the time to 4:25PM. At 6:35PM, I am finally called back to see a nurse. My vitals are taken along with a nose swab for a flu and covid test. After sitting in the room until 7:40PM, I go to the desk to ask the nurse what is going on. She suggests I walk around the desk because I should not talk to her back. Why not swivel that chair around to talk with a sick patient? Even as I ask my question, she continues to input her information on the computer. In addition, she tells me I am the next patient to get my results. I go back to the room and sit there until 8:12PM. At this point, I gather my purse and jacket to go home. As I am passing the desk, the nurse tells me I am the next patient. Oh no, I am not going back to the room for another 30 minute wait. I tell her thanks but no thanks, I am going home and walked on out the door without any results. This visit just made me sicker. Let me suffer at home and not in a medical facility. With people already sick, this is worse than going to an emergency room. Post-covid has left people indifferent and uncaring. This was my first and last time to this location. I thought it was funny that people were turned around who did not have appointments because walk-ins are not accepted. What is the reason for an appointment with wait times for over two to three hours? This was a disgrace and I have been in urgent care facilities before this occasion. read more

Took my husband here thinking he could get care for his flu like symptoms, when we arrived the woman at the front desk asked if we had an appointment. Why would I need an appointment for urgent care? Then, as we were leaving, her colleagues were shaking their heads and I heard one of them say, "Why are all of these people coming in here?" Arrived at 8:08am with 3 patients ahead of me. My ailment was quite noticeable - allergic reaction of swelling. I had to fill out some paperwork then I was called back at 9am. Doctor came in a few minutes later and said I'd get a prescription for steroids. I sat in that cold room alone for another 30 minutes until I walked out. They had forgotten about me but got me my discharge papers (thorough) and called in my prescription. The facility is new but the floors are dirty. The staff was okay and I got what I needed in a decent time. Hoping I don't need to go back but if so I'll keep this place in mind. read more

My 16 year old son and I presented to the urgent care due to an ankle injury. To minimize long wait times, I scheduled the visit online and arrived 15 minutes early to complete paperwork. I waited for 50 minutes only to be TURNED AWAY. Not because of insurance or money, but because of the nature of the injury. I was told by a back office staff member that their X-ray machine was broken and therefore my son couldn't even be evaluated. That is absolutely absurd and I did not feel valued as a patient and customer. My son had a simple ankle sprain with minimal pain and swelling, and all I desired was to seek a professional assessment. I was completely turned away and they REFUSED to see my son. I was disgusted and disappointed with the way we were treated. I left and went to another Urgent care facility, where I waited only 10 minutes and my son was assessed right away! I would never, ever return to Peachtree Urgent Care, or whatever the name is. I was devalued as a patient and the care was certainly misappropriated. read more

WARNING Never go here! Doc Robin Woodberry was Unprofessional and unhelpful Receptionists were rude, unprofessional, and attempted to charge me for a follow up. The doc failed to treat me and discover my issue. She automatically assumed STD, labs proved negative, and failed to find the real issue and treat me. La. Results took forever and I had to continuously call. Only to find out they called and gave my results to someone else. I will never go here, or any affiliated location again. read more

Liked the doctor a lot and staff were pleasant but will try to avoid this place in the future. My wife and I came after a car wreck on a Sat afternoon. We gave them insurance card, claim number, and adjuster name but they would not bill insurance because they could not reach the adjuster on the phone (Sat afternoon) and they forced us to pay out of pocket. I felt like they assumed we were lying and trying to rip them off. If that is their attitude, I will go somewhere else next time. We waited for a long time in a waiting room full of sneezing people, and could not see any air cleaners or anything. read more

As a black woman in an office full of black women I have never felt so unseen and ignored in my life. I went for a simple Covid test and from the very first interaction; the amount of lack of communication, poor customer service and just plain lack of concern was alarming seeing that this was URGENT care. I came in pain, having just vomited moments before coming into the office I was dehydrated. I sat there in pain for an additional almost 2 hours until they finally came and checked on me because I was crying in pain, couldn't breathe through my mask and began to hyperventilate (anxiety attacks are something that I have suffered with before and have been treated for) but It's like they just forgot about me or didn't care. All I needed was to take a covid test because all of the home test were coming back negative. Of course I was positive and the only course of action for someone who is not high risk is plenty fluids and plenty rest which I is all I wanted to know so I could accurately inform my job. This interaction could've taken a total of 5 minutes after the results came back but I was there in pain for 3 hours. The physicians at this location lack basic bedside manner when addressing concerns of their patients. As a PA, the inability to read an X-ray, or forward films to someone who can, is lazy and apathetic. Don't waste your time bothering with this location unless you plan to lose your rent money, your whole day, and your patience. read more

the front office staff is very unprofessional. I was told that there would be an hr & a half wait (in hopes that I would leave), which was fine with me. I sat for about an hour waiting (30 mins less, lucky me). after I arrived at the clinic, a few more ppl came & they were told that the wait was now 3 hrs. after seeing the doctor, and getting treated, I overheard the nurses saying that the ppl in the lobby wouldn't leave even after the lady told them 3+ hours... which clearly was a false estimate on the waiting time just to make ppl leave. I found that to be very rude & unprofessional. these ppl are sick/hurting or whatever the case may be & they come to be taken care of. not turned away. YALL chose this line of work, including the long hours that go into it. I really couldn't believe them. needless to say, I will not be visiting this facility again. read more

I went here for a child's sports physical and even with an appointment, had to wait over an hour and a half after the appt time to be seen plus 30 more mins after being called back so I was there 3 hours in total for a less than 20 min physical. Note they had already stopped taking walk-ins and were only seeing people with appts at this time. We arrived about 15 mins prior with paperwork already completed and was told it would be about 30 mins. I went to my car to take a 15 min work call and came back in to wait. About 30 mins after I came back in, I got a phone call but ignored it since it was a quiet waiting room with only 2 others waiting. Then the front desk attendant immediately tells me I was skipped because "they said they tried to call and I sent them to voicemail". I initially thought it was while I was in the car but nope, that call I ignored 5 mins before while sitting there. Why on earth anyone would call a patient sitting in the waiting room rather than simply say their name is beyond ridiculous. To make the matter worse, it had been less than 5 mins since the phone call and rather than correct her mistake, Rebecca doubles down and insists with attitude that she called and since "she forwarded the call" she moved on. Never mind, I was sitting right there when she came to the waiting room to ask for that next patient to come back, which is when the front desk realized something was off and I asked how much longer it would be. No apology, no effort to acknowledge or correct her error or the fact that she never announced for us. It took an entire hour after that for us to be seen!! I mentioned it to the nurse practitioner and his only response was "we try to get everyone in". What? Even the physical was very robotic and rushed. I live in DeKalb County, but work in Gwinnett County. I knew I had pink eye, but the doctor, or practitioner at a clinic I frequented near my job kept telling me I only had allergies. Anyway, I went to the Peachtree Immediate Care center near where I live, Lithonia, and was diagnosed correctly with conjunctivitis. I found the service at P'Tree Immed.Care to be friendly and courteous and the wait was about what's to be expected. Based on my experience, I fully trust that I'm in good care there and will not hesitate to go there again. As a matter of fact, other members of my family have gone there and received great service and the proper prescriptions called in to our nearby pharmacy. The only issue I'm currently having with them is that I'm getting emails that they are attempting to charge the bank card I provided them during my initial visit and I'm quite sure I should be getting a bill/invoice first before any additional payment is expected? I don't think they're allowed to just charge my card without permission and I wasn't even made aware of the charge beforehand? Otherwise, I would have given them 5 stars for the service I received. Anyway, I'll stop by there on my way home and I'm sure the matter will be cleared up. I'm thankful to have this urgent care center so conveniently located.
