I have an issue with closed caption on Peacock that defaults to a jumble of words that makes no sense, after much time spent trying to get help, I was connected with a chat person who took all my information and wanted to connect with technician who would help, and I would have to pay 45.00, 5.00 was refundable, and 40.00 a month if I wanted to continue. I recently discovered through comparison that we had been paying for Peacock streaming through Amazon Pay and through Comcast. We have deactivated through Amazon Pay. Rather than dealing with Comcast (Internet says headquarters are in Philadelphia), I am de-activating my subscription to Peacock Premium today because it has not worked and streaming wants to update charges when I have not been getting any services. I will also be contacting Peacock because they should have technology to discover and reduce duplicative services for their customers. Requested a refund of automatic renewal charge to my credit card. The need to provide a customer service number or contact me to provide instructions for getting my refund. If they don't approve my refund request, I will dispute the charge on my card. I will NOT pay for this renewal as I was not notified of pending expiration of my subscription and pending annual renewal or obtain my current authorization for the charge to my credit card. For almost two weeks I have been waiting for the Peacock Customer Service team to resolve an issue regarding viewing my local news through their premium plan. The issue was escalated to their "email" agents(after using live agent chat). I promptly provided the requested information only to follow up several times and be asked for the exact same information and still no updates nor resolutions. There is not a customer service number to call. Reaching out on Facebook and X is one way to see if your issue is even being addressed. I got a free trial of their "premium" service. They have some good shows and movies, but far too many advertisements. several advertisement only revenue sites have fewer advertisements. Apparently to get fewer (not no advertisements, just fewer) advertisements that's another 5 dollars a month and is called "premium plus" and frighteningly there's a rank below premium with even more advertisements and less access to good movies and shows. I'm pretty sure their tier system is the basis of a particularly scary episode of black mirror. The advertisements are particularly annoying and repetitive, cut in exactly when a show or movie is getting really good and make you honestly hate the advertisers. I'm sticking with the streaming services I do have and not renewing Peacock when the trial ends. If I were to renew at a later date I'd probably have to shell out for the premium plus, only by then they'll have downgraded service quality of that tier and for a reasonable service I'll probably have to get something called "platinum premium plus" or some such. read more

I have been a loyal customer of Peacock TV for several years. In my account I was offered a promo for $24.99 for the premium plan (with ads). I contacted Peacock TV on May 25 via email, as there is no telephone number, prior to making the purchase, to confirm that if I purchase the $24.99 premium plan, I would be able to upgrade to the premium plus plan (no ads) for an additional $60. The Peacock representation stated I would be able to do that. I have an email definitively supporting this. I based my decision to make the purchase of the premium (with ads) to then be able to add the premium plus (without ads) based on the rep's email and representation of the company for $60. After I made the $24.99 purchase, I attempted to purchase the $60 add on plus plan, but that option was unavailable. So I again contacted Peacock TV and then I was told that I could not purchase Peacock plus for the additional $60. The email I have in writing by the representative clearly states that I could do so, and I based my decision to buy the premium plus plan based on that representation. Later that day, Peacock contacted me stating it would uphold the information given to me by their rep, and upon which I based my purchase, and for my trouble they would offer me the premium plus portion complimentary through a voucher for a year - a $60 value. I had already paid the $24.99. I agreed. A couple hours later, it responded they did not have any more annual vouchers but could give me a three month voucher. I declined. This is a deceitful company. The complimentary 12-month voucher never materialized. Three days later, as I paid for the 24.99 premium plan on May 25 on my credit card, I tried to logon to determine the status of my account, and it stated that I had no plans at all. I paid Peacock 24.99, they gave me zero. My account states I have no plan, and my payments reflect I have a plan until May 2026. I cannot stream anything. I have disputed this with my credit card as it is theft. Peacock will not respond as to why they charged me 24.99 and then canceled the plan. I have repeatedly brought this to the attention of Peacock for over a week, and all they say is we are closing your case. They received 24.99 of my money, and I have no streaming at all.
