We were asked if we wanted separate checks and told that because of the size, we wouldn't be able to sit inside the airplane, so I appreciated the transparency. When we arrived, the host set up the table with menus and pointed out where our table was. I kind of wished he walked us over because I ended up shepherding our group. Our server was Amanda, and she was very pleasant and professional. She took our drink orders and later followed by taking our food orders. She quickly brought our drinks and then our sides of salad/soup and appetizers. Our meals came in batches, which is fine because otherwise, the cooked food would get cold, but there was a gap, so several got their meals as others were finishing up. Amanda was great about communication; for example, she came to ask if we need anything else since she had a little time before the rest of the food came out, so she brought refills and whatever additions everyone needed. I ordered the Atlantic salmon entree and upgraded to French onion soup for an extra $1.50. It was possibly the best French onion soup I've ever had; it had a sweet taste and not overly salted at all. The cheese was very generous, and I ate all of it. I asked that my salmon be cooked medium rare. I'd say it was probably more medium/medium well, but that's okay. It's very difficult to get it right. The mashed potatoes were yummy, again not overly salted, and it also came with steamed broccoli, which I didn't realize because I would probably get double broccoli in the future for health reasons. I tried someone else's onion rings, and I thought they were great. At least you can taste the onions! We did have a mishap with a steak being difficult to cut, so I think it got removed from the bill without it being asked. I've gone to several restaurants where the manager would come out and try to convince you that there's nothing wrong, so I really appreciated that our friend was taken care of. Another friend ordered a burger, and there was still pink in the hamburger meat, which actually is a positive thing because even when we've requested at other restaurants, it still comes out well done. I walked upstairs to the airplane seating portion, and it looks like there are only booths that fit up to 4 each. There were small airplanes everywhere, and it actually looks like a museum with a reading panel next to an airplane part. In the women's restroom, marked as Flygirl, there is a sensor that plays the sound of an airplane taking off. Bathroom needed a little attention, which I did report. In all, I would recommend and return. The food was pretty good, and the service was great.

You read that right. The airplane you see on the outside is an actual dining area, it has tables for parties of 2 or 4 but we squeezed our party of 7 in two tables. The whole experience was awesome especially for the little ones. With all that being said. The food isn't as grand as the ambiance. It's ok if that. But don't let that discourage you from visiting

We arrived and put our name in, there was a 20 minute wait. Since my grand daughter was sleeping we waited in the car for our table. It was ready in 15 minutes so early. I ordered off the a la carte menu to sample several items. Biscuit and Gravy and cinnamon roll were excellent. Good bacon and 2 scrambled eggs. We enjoyed our food and the service was great. We'll be back again. Kitchy motif with lots of western / cowboy types of items on the walls

When they are not busy, their customer service is excellent. When they are super busy, their customer service is adequate. The ambience here is definitely old-school café where you can sit next to strangers at a big long tables and in the old days where farmers would come to chat with each other after working all morning. Their French toast sandwich is delicious. Their omelettes, also delicious. Bacon. Yum. Pancakes also yum. Cinnamon Rolls, OMG. The one thing consistently that I do not care for here are their hashbrowns. To the point that I try to order things that don't include them. The menu says they are golden and crispy. They are not. I have asked specifically for them to be golden and crispy. They, still, are not. I don't complain after they are brought incorrectly cooked. I don't send them back. I just don't eat them. But I have never once been here where I've been served hashbrowns that made my tummy smile in delight. They are flavorless and mushy. Slightly more solid than the consistency of mashed potatoes. The coffee is weak. Typical of many breakfast places, though.

The bartender/our server was super nice and made really good drinks! I got an espresso martini before dinner and had the seafood pasta "Linguine Tutto Mare." It came with the perfect amount of seafood and pasta. And they provide focaccia with the meal. For my friend's birthday (he's not a desert guy) so they brought him a complimentary glass of champagne with a candle and we sang happy birthday. I thought that was nice! That was not my friend's first time there but it was mine and I would totally go back. Worth stopping by if you're looking for a new Italian place to check out. :) it's in a good location downtown if you're looking for other things to do down there as well. It's a cute area for a date (romantic or friend date) night near all the other cute restaurants and bars if you feel like going out after.

There was another gentleman waiter who would pop by & ask if we were good - but he wasn't our waiter, now of course I don't mind that he was attentive, friendly & kind but the person receiving the tip for waiting on us should've been doing these things. We started with the cheesy bread & tomato bisque soup. A nice way to start. Then each had the lunch special which came with a soup or salad we each chose the salad that comes with a balsamic vinaigrette - I had the beef stroganoff, my mom had the chicken florentine. Really solid dishes. My asparagus was cooked perfectly - I love that. All in all a good meal - oh and a nice glass of sweet red wine. $42 each incl tip.

Plenty of horseradish but I especially like the chopped celery. My New York strip was tasty and cooked exactly to the temperature I ordered. The "European" flight wine paring was perfect. Service was great. Evan was polite and attentive despite doing double duty as bartender and server. However, for reasons unclear to me but a very common experience, it was a very long wait between the time I received the dessert menu and the time someone took my order. This happens too frequently, once the entree is delivered the server forgets the table. When it finally arrived, the fresh berries and cream dessert was disappointing. It seemed like the berries had been frozen rather than fresh. When I observed this, a server said it was because they were macerated in alcohol over night. I ate only about 1/3 and thought it should have been removed from the check after I complained, but it was not. Otherwise, an excellent experience but not as good as it should have been.

We always sit at the bar and these are the few annoying things that happened the last few times we came. -we didn't get silverware until 5 minutes passed after our steak was delivered. -the owner was arm wrestling one of his friends, around 7pm, a full restaurant trying to enjoy their dinner, turning this into a frat house/sports bar with yelling and carrying on. This actually shocked me snd was the final nail in the coffin for me. -ordering a dirty martini and it actually having cinnamon liquor in it. Lol. The bartender didn't set up his own bar and blamed it on the staff from earlier in the evening. No biggie, but this bartender seems to fumble a LOT. Just own it Bro, we've been served by you many nights, and you aren't our favorite for a reason. We've been going to Cowboy Star for the bar service. Just a step above. It's a bummer, we used to LOVE this place.
