Enjoyed a Saturday morning on the patio at Loyal Coffee. Decided to try the honey matcha latte & the peanut butter banana toast. Glass bottles of water are offered on the self serve bar. I'm leaning more towards a 4.5 but it's not a 5 due to the prices. I just felt the food options are pricey for what they are. The coffee was great though, nice and creamy. This place was one of a few recommended places to eat or drink coffee from my cousin. The cafe is clean, looks green with an all natural earthy tones, full to an extent you will a seat or two available for you. Note, I am not a coffee drinker!! I place an order for a cold coffee, but I ask the barista to surprise me, she promises to surprise me and makes me a "oat coffee though it was only made a certain day or time", she messes up the order. However, I was just happy she did as thats the first hot coffee I have ever liked unless I was really sick and I can't get the taste of anything. Once you find parking and enter the coffee shop, you'll be transported into what feels like a modern plant lovers dream. There's plenty of seating if you're looking to work remotely or just looking to find a nice place to have a cup of coffee. I ordered the oatmeal cookie latte, which was well balanced, and I couldn't even taste the oat milk in the drink. Lovely cafe with outstanding coffee, tasty pastries and toasts, and a super friendly team. I popped by Loyal Coffee while working remotely from Colorado Springs, and it was the perfect spot for it -- as indicated by the many other people doing the same thing. They have a good amount of seating, including tiny 2-person booths lining the wall next to their cashier counter, but it's definitely a popular spot that fills up quite quickly. They also don't have a *ton* of outlets (I only saw one next to the bathroom), so I'd come prepared with a fully charged laptop if you plan to work for a while. The music is also a smidge loud for taking meetings, but there's a good number of seats outside where it's considerably quieter. Beyond the remote working vibes, the coffee was fantastic. My latte was rich, nutty, and smooth, with all the right ratios and balance of flavors. I was impressed by their non-dairy milk latte art (it's always a struggle), and the coffee went wonderfully with their cinnamon twist. The pastry was buttery and sweet, but not overly so, and it was quite large -- an A+ breakfast or study snack. read more

This is a delightful little coffee shop in downtown Colorado Springs. We tried both drip coffee and espresso drinks. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. They have a limited menu - toast seems to be the highlight. There is meeting space available if needed. While the hotel we stayed at offered free breakfast (including coffee), my colleague and I opted to take a Lyft to try some local coffee. We decided to go to Loyal Coffee on Nevada to start our morning before heading to the local office. The ambiance at Loyal Coffee is just my vibe: good music, not too quiet, the aroma of coffee, aesthetically pleasing decor, natural lighting, and friendly staff. On my first visit, I ordered an Iced Honey Cinnamon Latte and wondered why it looked a little dark. I soon found out it had 4 shots of espresso - yikes! We enjoyed the flavors and came back to Loyal Coffee for a second visit before we left Colorado Springs. This time I asked for just 1 shot of espresso and it was delicious. Recently, I was back in the Springs for another business trip and made Loyal Coffee my first stop. It was great to be back and, of course, ordered my favorite Iced Honey Cinnamon Latte (with just 1 shot of espresso) and one of their iced teas. Delicious! This is my favorite coffee shop out here. My son and I made two visits to Loyal two days in a row while I was in town to move him into his new place. They do a very nice job and the place is cute. Service is friendly. I'd recommend if you're looking for a coffee shop in the area. I will note their beans seem a bit stronger than a few other coffee shops in the area, and I typically like a milder/smoother espresso - nonetheless, a good coffee shop. It's one of the best coffee spots I've ever been to. It's top-tier in every way. I received a recommendation to come here, so I figured I'd check it out. I looked at their website, and man, do these people love coffee. Location - check Ambience - check Quality - check Service - check They are clearly passionate about their product, and the servers are enthusiastic about it, as well. The lady in front of me was not sure what to order, and the gentleman serving her had a full conversation with her, offering recommendations and reasons why she might enjoy each one. He was more than happy to discuss the product on a busy morning. Seeing the website and being in the coffee shop, I cynically expected snobby service, but they are legit friendly here. They clearly care as much about service as they do about coffee. I got my basic order (half caf, oat milk latte) and received a sublime, well-executed latte. Oh, and I also threw in a hoodie (coffee-scented because it lived there). If you love (or even just like) coffee and want something from people who LOVE coffee, look no further - this is as good as it gets. Relatively pricey? Loyal coffee was a great experience! The employees are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The environment is modern and cozy. I went for breakfast and I got a vanilla iced latte which was super tasty. The coffee was very pronounced which is exactly what I look for in an iced latte. When an iced latte is watered down, milky, too sweet, I automatically know the quality of the coffee is trash. Loyal has really good coffee so I highly recommend trying it out! The food on the other hand was just okay. I don't like when cafes try to reinvent basic dishes like an avocado toast because it was not the best for me. Loyal uses red wine vinegar as a signature product on the toast but it actually overpowers the whole dish. I would have liked to try other foods but didn't get the chance. Other than that, I do have to say that Loyal is really expensive for 2 coffees and an avocado toast the size of my hand ($30 without tip). I guess in many ways you're paying for the service, ambiance, and food. I can definitely say that it's not something I could have on a daily basis with those prices but I had a great experience. So I came here with my friend, and she ordered a Horchata with cold brew, and she definitely did not like it and she did not feel like it was Horchata. Notably it took the cashier less than a minute to make. Personally, I ordered a kombucha because they had no sugar-free options for coffee syrup and frankly had strange options for normal coffee syrup to add to your latte... I mean, she even tried to suggest I try cardamom syrup instead of mint like what?! Highly in need of a particular caffeine pick me up, the espresso tonic. The barista told me of a similar drink they had: cold brew coffee + their homemade tonic. She was so kind and gave me a little sample of it. It was refreshing, but I needed more espresso for my drive. I had 4.5 hours to go, lol! So when I asked, "Would you be willing to make me a double shot of espresso over ice, topped with tonic and a drizzle of orange syrup?" And her response was, "Yeah, let's do it!" She may have been nervous that it wasn't going to taste good, but she absolutely knocked out of the park! I don't mean to brag, but I'm extremely loyal to the coffee game. Like, I need it and I need it bad. After a fun day exploring Colorado Springs, I was desperate for a cup for the drive home. With many shops closing early on a Sunday (rightfully so) I landed at Loyal Coffee. My wife and I had been here once before last year so it was a no brainer. This place rocks. Plain and simple. The space is large, minimal and trendy. The baristas are extremely friendly and have provided excellent customer service during each visit. Plus, Loyal roasts their own coffee and has specialty drinks on the menu. You can tell they know what they're doing here. Coffee is their livelihood and it shows! I walked in with my mind on getting a plain hot coffee for the road, maybe an Americano. But when I saw the menu, I had to get the cold brew tonic. I was validated when the barista said, "Not many people order this but I'm not sure why, it's one of my favorite drinks!" Any shop who's utilizing tonic gets it. The combination is unparalleled and something I quite enjoy. Though it's pricier than the average cup of joe, the regular size was huge. I ended up sitting inside the shop and took my time as I sipped away. It was absolutely delicious. During my time there, another barista came around and offered me water. Brought out a carafe and glass and everything. Talk about world class service. Give these two people who were working Sunday night a raise! Loyal is one of my favorite coffee spots in town! The space is incredibly relaxing, open, and airy. You have the option to order some delicious food with your coffee as well and they will bring it out to one of the tables -- if you can manage to snag one! I found this place after finishing an appointment in The Springs. I really enjoyed my visit here! Their coffee is great and they serve it in a ceramic mug rather than typical cheap paper cup served in so many coffee shops these days. The place has a nice hipster vibe. It was nice to see various people hanging out, enjoying coffee and the conversation at their table. I love how their is plenty of seating. They have a lot of cute two person booths to sit at. This is a great place to hang out while doing work on your laptop, writing or even reading. I enjoyed the selection of music playing as well. It had a nice lounge vibe to it. The music wasn't too loud which I really enjoyed. Staff is friendly and accommodating. After I ordered my coffee and paid for it, the young man who took my order, brought it to my table. They have a nice creamer area with half and half, sugar in the raw and stevia packets along with a huge stack of glasses for water. There are rows of water bottles (glass) next to the cups. They also sell nice smelling candles that were homemade in Colorado. Their lavender candle is heavenly. There is a nice walk of various gifts for purchase that feature honey, shirts, sweatshirts, cups and coffee cups. I wish this place was closer to me! I would hang out here more often.
