Called the company and got an AI Chat bot that stated "the on call team would call me back ASAP to let me know if a technician is in route or if we need to reschedule". It's now 9:30pm. this is the second time my heat went the winter today is January 20 and it's 7° and I'm heat went off at 9 o'clock Monday today is Tuesday 9:15 in the morning. This is the worst company in the world and I'm sue them if I get sick. I got an AC unit which should have nothing to do with my furnace, but they broke it and it keeps going out. Do not use these people. It's a sham of a company. I called them yesterday and they told me they would be out today around 2:00 PM. That's too long to be sitting in a cold house when it's 7 degrees outside. I have an inspection for the AC unit that they put in last year in June. The city of coming out to inspect it February 6. They're gonna fail this inspection and I'm going to sue them. read more

This company is stellar. It was easy to schedule a appointment. Nolan, my technician is amazing. He explained the process of the tune-up I had requested and when it was discovered I needed much more than a tune-up he again talked me through the process. My furnace had been off for 12 hours when I made the appointment the person taking the appointment knew this. I had been scheduled on Sunday at 8am to 10 am by that time the furnace had been out for 36 hours and in the 30's inside the house. The company never showed for the appointment. I called and got a virtual assistant that did nothing. The worse part about it is I had my in-laws living in my house and they are both in their 80's. Luckly, I got a hold of a smaller company that had a person answering the phone and had to pay an emergency fee to have them come out. Peak finally text me an hour and a half after my appointment was scheduled for and said they could have someone out in 3 hours. Run-away do not call this company. Worst company I have ever dealt with. They would get a negative if I could leave a negative number. read more

My AC stopped working in the middle of the worst heat wave of the year. I have a severe and rare chronic neurological disease that is made much worse in the heat. I was calling around to everyone to see if there was someone who could come out and take a look at it And peak was the only response. Everybody has been telling me that if it was the capacitor, that was good news because that's not very expensive, but they quoted $919 to get it done. I felt like I've been punched in the gut and all the blood drained from my face because even if I compiled every cent I have, I don't have anywhere near $919. That's when I went and posted on Nextdoor what had happened and a very kind handyman came and did it for $120. And There were other people quoting me even less than that. What Peak did was pretty much criminal. I hate that I have to give them any stars because I would give them zero if I could. read more

My brand new not even a month old AC unit keeps freezing. I keep getting the run around from this company. The fan makes an awful whomping noise. I have had 2 different techs tell me two completely different things, neither of which fixed the problem. The thermostat wire wasn't properly connected on installation, then the unit froze and I was told "sometimes these things just need to work themselves out" next tech told me "I need to wash my condenser every other week and that will keep it from freezing" the guy washed it while he was here and it froze the next day. I call, send text messages, leave messages and nobody follows up. The office girl said she'd have a manager get ahold of me, no manager has gotten in contact. We were told that the fancy thermostat sends alerts when the air flow isn't right and a tech will be sent out. The AC freezing has zero air flow and no tech is sent, no phone call is made to set up a time for a tech to check it out. My old AC unit may have been ancient and may have struggled to keep up but it didn't freeze. They claim to have 24hr emergency service, they do not. So if you have any medical conditions that make you sensitive to heat and humidity, I wouldn't call this company. They won't show up or even pick up the phone. They use AI half the time to answer the phone. The customer service is seriously lacking. read more

I scheduled an Appointment between 5 P.M. and 9 pm. They confirmed the appointment yesterday. I left work early. I am waiting from 5 to 9 pm and they never arrived. I called multiple times before 7 PM after 7 PM close to 8 PM no answer only a robot. The robot said that my appointment was at 2 PM. Never on time for appointments. Even with multiple confirmation still at over an hour late. Ridiculous excuse. I will never use them again. Also they just called random electrician to come to do the project and said that was their staff. Price maybe lower but you get what you pay for. read more

To be perfectly honest the gentleman that arrived to repair the furnace...Well he could NOT HAVE BEENmore knowledgeable and courteous and professional..Our furnace was very old and out dated and he would have to order the igniter. Not knowing that it was on order with another repair man that was here months ago..We told him and thanked him for coming out offered to give him money for his trouble.God bless him he refused the offer .Before he left I tyed once again he refused again... Beware!!! Do yourself a huge favor and go some place else! This place will try to sell you their "premium service, 15 year warranty and high quality / over priced parts." I dont appreciate the lack of up front options that I was given. The advice and troubleshooting was terrible from my tech Alex Bergman. Picture attached.. I called after i got a second opinion and found out my techs advice was more aligned with having his companies best intrests at heart and not suggesting the best option for the customer. i felt my service call deserved a refund. All of the people that have come to my house have been very nice but we have had so many problems with Peak. Four different technicians told us we could put the a/c unit in a specific spot. Once they installed it, we noticed that cosmetically it looked awful but wanted to see if they would fix it once the electrician came to finish the job. It took a week of me calling to get the electrician scheduled and another week to get him out here. Once he got here, he stated he couldn't finish the job because it was out of code. When we called the company to figure out next steps, they wanted to see if "Grand Rapids would let it slide" showing me they have no problem at all going against code. The unprofessional in that statement alone was extremely frustrating to hear. With the the amount of money we are spending, we expect it to be done right and done right the first time both technically and cosmetically. We asked if there was anything they could do for us for the problems and work we have to put in and they offered us a "free dinner" which felt like an absolute slap in the face. The manager came out to look at everything and agreed that the cosmetic job looked awful and that we would hear from the company on real compensation and have everything completely fixed by next Wednesday, yesterday. We have not heard from him or anyone in the company. The lack of communication, unprofessional, and price is worth no one's time and I would never recommend. read more

So let's start with the fact that they quoted us a 3-5 day installment... it was over SIX WEEKS! When they came for a quote we told them the biggest reason we are switching to forced air heat is to get heat on the level that you walk into the house because our daughter's room is down there and it's the coldest area in the house, they said it wouldn't be a problem. After they got the furnace in they informed us that they might have to take some of the ceiling tiles down in the basement for the duct work we said that's fine no problem and asked if they needed us to do it, they said no they will handle it. They showed up for a few hours every day but not much got accomplished. Then they took down the ceiling tiles and when I say "took down" you would think they took them down and set them in a pile nicely right? Nope! They literally ripped them off the ceiling and dropped them on all our things! Couches we had down there everything! They left the biggest mess I had ever seen! In our daughter's room she had muddy foot prints on her white comforter, they spilled her trash and stepped on it, and she had saw dust and insulation on and in her bed! They didn't order the parts they needed until they needed it so there was another couple weeks. Then they said they were putting the house on a 2 zone system which is great, but I said if they do that and put the lower level with the highest level floor wouldn't that be bad because the upper level is really hot and the lower level is really cold they said that's not how it would go and the two lower levels would be on the same zone and the highest level would be by itself. Well after MONTHS of not being able to figure out why our daughters room was still cold we called them and said that we need to get it inspected and they have one chance to fix the stuff (the registers wouldn't fit in the holes they cut, the ones that did fit the duck work fell out because they cut them wrong, daughters room still freezing etc.) so they come over and the tech was super nice and couldn't believe the work they did and didn't do! Ended up putting a damper in for the heat on the lower level and highest level. We still don't know how that will work in the summer when we need air upstairs and not downstairs! So they came and "fixed" that. Then they reached out to my fiancé and told him that it was our fault that the ceiling tiles were like that because it not their job to do demo to put the duct work in ... even though they never told us in advance to do it and after we offered to do it and they said no! The electrician came and told us that they would be back to clean up the mess because that's unacceptable, weeks later however we just paid for a dump truck and did it ourselves! We will see if this even passes the inspection but if it doesn't I don't even want them back here to destroy other things! Look at the pictures and you can decide for yourselves but I wish I never called them it was a horrible experience lots of work and frustration on our part! Hire at your own risk! read more

Paid to have them come put in a new A.C they said it was good but it wasn't cooling our house. They tried to tell us to clean our ducts but that wasn't the issue. They came 2 more times before they actually fixed it and got it working. We used the A.C 5 times and it's now broken due to a fuse?? They were supposed to come fix it 2 days ago and now their earliest Availability is next week.. on top of all this our furnace was working before they came to put the A.C in and now it doesn't work and we were told we'd need to replace it. Called Peak to come out and take a look at my A.C. over the summer as it was just not getting as cold as it used to the year before. Guy came out to look it over and told my Girlfriend that there was too much freon in the A.c. unit, even though it worked fine the year before I guess someone came and added more while i was sleeping some night. He bled the gas out into the air , which I was later told was a EPA no-no, and charged us $200+ for this. I told them when I scheduled the appointment that I needed an itemized receipt. They told my girlfriend at the day there was none to give. That night A.c. unit did not work at all so I contacted a local handyman to take a look who is friends with my family. He tells me I have a small leak and that I am out of Freon (Surprise surprise) so i call Peak back to add more to my A.c. unit and gets into argument with family friend. After refilling A.c. unit Peak leaves and friend fixes leak A.c. now works fine read more
