Hello, my name is George Albanese, and I have been suffering from chronic pain for the last 10 to 15 years in a progressive way, in the beginning, the pain was not too bad and I ignored the pain as much as I could thinking it was a temporary condition and it would be resolved on its own in time but, it turned out my condition only progressed negatively in time. I then started to medicate myself with over the counter pain killers and sleeping pills trying to coop with my aches and pains the best way I could. My pain started to be felt mainly on my upper back and neck for the most part, but eventually, I started to feel it on my shoulders and I developed Migraine Headaches as well to make my whole condition worst. In addition to that, I also started to feel numbness and tingling sensation on my hands, legs, and feet, I knew then my condition was only getting worse. I then started seeing an Orthopedist, he examined me he ordered X-rays and an MRI of my upper back, my neck and my lower back for him to be able to properly diagnose my condition. The results were not too good, he found out I had some discs in my spine developing Disc Degenerative Disease to various levels of degeneration. and he then recommended physical therapy to alleviate my symptoms but that did not help much, at the end he told me to continue taking the Pain killers, Nerve pain medication and Muscle relaxers I had been prescribed by my Primary care Doctor, however, if my condition was to deteriorate further he was available to perform surgery to "correct" the problem. I then sought the help of a Rheumatologist but he only confirmed I had some levels of DDD along my spine and some levels of Arthritis as well. Meanwhile, my pain was only getting worse, and it radiated to my shoulders, my sides my buttocks and my ribs. The pain was so intense at times it was almost unbearable, my focus area of pain was my neck, shoulders and strong headaches every day, that was the most bothersome area, I also felt the inability to concentrate and to think clearly. I knew there should be an alternative treatment for my condition, by then my levels of pain were 6,7,8 and 9, I then started to seek Chiriparactors near my House, I read several reviews of Chiropractors in the area near my house and after making a couple of phone calls, I found Peak Performance Spine Clinic near my house, I then made an Appointment I talked to Julie on the phone I explained to her what my symptoms were, to that she told me, one of the conditions they treat was spine issues (Decompression) they quickly scheduled an appointment and a couple of days later I went in with my X-rays and MRI results for a consultation, I met Dr. Ron Bittle and after having had a very comprehensive conversation about my Symptoms and looking at the X-rays, Dr. Ron designed a plan of treatment for my particular condition, I agreed to start treatment as soon as possible with the Chiropractic treatment, SPINE DECOMPRESSION, and MANUAL ADJUSTMENTS. Dr. Ron suggested a number of sessions and I started going to the clinic for my appointments I then started to feel some relief of my symptoms almost from the first session, I then felt very much encouraged to continue my Chiropractic Treatment as Schedule. The first thing I noticed was, my headaches started to decrease as well my neck and shoulder pain, I just could not believe my pain was decreasing more and more with each treatment session, it was such a blessing after having been in so much pain for so long, Dr. Ron also recommended some Stretches for me to do at home. The Decompression procedure is so gentle and rewarding, I felt no discomfort at all. I am now almost at the end of my main treatment and I can honestly say Dr. Ron and Peak Performance Staff have changed my life for the better, I am looking forward to going back to work soon. it is so refreshing to have people who treat you so well and professionally. Danger! This chiropractor does not take X-rays. Went in for a simple adjustment (my first time ever to a chiropractor) and I left with a herniated disk and weeks of pain. I really like coming here but an incident today will not allow me to go back. I am a returning client & have not had a problem until today but they way it was handled did not sit right with me as a customer. I receive the same massage each time and expected the same today. My normal masseuse is out. When the new massuese came she advised just doesn't usual do those type of massages in which management should have advised me that maybe I should reschedule to get what I want. The masseuse come in & advised I should have requested it & which I advised this is my norm. I stated that when I called I wasn't asked because it is noted in my file what I receive. She decides I'm not going to put up with this and walks out. I did not say anything wrong & she already had an attitude in the way she spoke to me at introduction. I can feel when there are bad vibes. But what disturbs me the most is she isn't accountable for her actions & walking way because she isn't feeling me and I did nothing wrong. I have been going to the office for 2 years now and i love the personal connection Dr.Hall and team provide. Suzy is so efficient and accommodating she try's her best to make the appointments work for you. She will even call you if there is a cancellation to move you in earlier. I appreciate her consistency with her reminder calls. Dr Hall has that friendly down to earth but non sense approach. Very honest and her technique is awesome. It really feels like a neighborhood office , that right at home feel. They also have highly skilled trained therapists. Which partners up so lovely before Dr Hall adjusts you. i have seen a handful of the ladies and they are all great.... BUT the hidden gem is one special therapist Alex. She is so sweet and kind , she genuinely cares about her patients. She is all about your needs and wants. She does cupping in addition to her massage. It allows for the massage to be deeper and really relieves that tension and trust me i have a lot. The cups are plastic so they are not as crazy intense as glass so you can still enjoy your session. I come in every 2 weeks , my body needs it. She is very therapeutic its not a fluffy massage ( im sure she would be great a that too) but i prefer her to actually get in there a reduce some of these knots. I am totally comfortable with her and I highly recommend her. If you want to talk she is open and inviting if you want total silence she respects that too. They state the take personal injury cases but they don't. I called Friday 8/17 to let them know that my wife and I had just moved from Los Angeles and wanted to start treatment with them after a car accident 2 weeks ago. The front office employee told me that it seemed pretty straight forward but that she needed my attorney's name/contact info and that my treatment files from our previous Chiropractor would also have to be transferred to them. I provided all information and they stated they would call me withing a few minutes. The whole weekend went by so I decided to follow up with Peak Performance. They stated that they were "still looking into it" to see if they could take us and that they would let us know by EOD. Ultimately I received a voicemail stating that they could not take us at all (no explanation as to why). My new favorite thing to do Friday afternoons, is getting an adjustment here! I work out pretty hard, and a friend at my gym suggested I come here and get an adjustment, just for overall care. It has helped out a great deal with lifting and posture. What I wasn't expecting was how beneficial this would be to my pre-existing insomnia issues. I was only getting 4-5 hours of sleep at night. After my first adjustment with Dr. Hall, I noticed I was sleeping more sound. By the time I had my second adjustment a week later, I have been getting a full 8 hours of deep sleep at night. It's refreshing waking up feeling rested. I honestly don't know the science behind it but there is no doubt the adjustments are the reason I am getting rest now.
