The upright peanut has "USA" on the side. It was originally displayed lengthwise and hauled around on a trailer until 2009. It was erected here at the fairgrounds on August 10, 2015. They have an organized, numbered parking system which helps you find your car with ease. This was a unique, full of character festival unlike one I've been to before- by far one of the best. This place has a lot of land and different activities to do for kids, as to why it's a great destination for schools to take their students on field trips. But my only gripe would be that for sunny days as it was today, there are hardly any spots for shade or fans so that the kids can cool off. There is also an awesome Skate Art Park here if you would like to shred a few. Some notable shops include Blake's Body Bars, Cap City Video Lounge, Campus Greek, Cat Family Records, What You Got? Thrift Store, The Other Side Vintage, Sweet Boozy Cakes Bakery, Ryder's Water Ice, Morgan's Dog Training, Prime Tatoo Company, The Greenery Floral&Tuxedo Place, The Bee's Knees, Steelyard Gym, and Taste of Miami. There is over 200 free parking spaces in the park and there is free street parking within a reasonable walking distance. There is a patch of open green space outside of the virtual reality arcade. I saw some people playing catch there and also playing with a volleyball. On the first Friday of every month, the park hosts the very popular "First Friday Gallery Hop," an event that provides a lively, enjoyable experience with open galleries/shops, live music, and food. I really enjoyed this place. This is a must visit while you are in Tallahassee. You can easily spend a half day or more here. It is easily accesible and I highly recommend checking this place out if you have the chance.
