I hired Michelle to do my hair and makeup for my wedding on May 14, 2016. Every aspect of working with Michelle perfection. She is extremely talented. We set our appointment for her to come to my hotel at 2 pm on Saturday the 14th. I was pleasantly surprised by a text from her almost exactly 24 hours prior the the appointment to confirm and inquire about the room number. Since I was not yet checked in I told her I would get back to her once I was settled in at the hotel. In all the excitement I forgot so she again text me. The day of the appointment she sent a text to let me know that she was headed my way and would see me soon. Upon arriving at the hotel she text from the parking garage to say she was on her way up. From the moment she walked into the door she made me feel comfortable. She was quick and efficient yet remained warm and kept me relaxed. As I do not often wear makeup or style my hair I gave her full range to do anything she wanted. After asking a few questions about the venue and dress she went to work. I am so happy I let her just take over because the look she gave me was far better than I imagined it would be. The entire night I received one compliment after another. Everyone was amazed at how beautiful my hair and makeup were. I was married this past April and spent a good amount of time researching places to get my hair and make up done. We stayed at The Luxor and the spa there as well as the other nearby casinos have pretty high prices (around $300 for hair and makeup). When I found Bella Brides I was excited at the idea of someone that would come to me and the pictures on the site looked pretty good. I got in touch with Michelle and sent her a couple photos of a hair style that I liked. She texted me in advance to confirm and arrived on time. She has high quality make up and I was shocked when my hair was done in 30 minutes! I purchased a flower that she secured in my hair as well. She did an amazing job, was professional and very easy to talk to! I enjoyed the time that she spent doing my hair and make up very much! She suggested false lashes and I was unsure since I didn't want to look phony. She cut then down a bit and they looked great, made a big difference in the photos! I booked Johanna to do my hair for my wedding on June 10th. The ceremony was at 10 am, so she arrived at about 7:30 at my hotel suite. I showed her one picture I found on the web and mentioned that I really liked the braid in it and she did an amazing job! I'm not a bridezilla, control freak or a very girly-girl. I have never had my hair done professionally before and was very impressed with this experience. A fun side note: we have the same name :) I had never met another Johanna before, so I think she was meant to do my hair on my special day! I did my own makeup since I usually don't wear any and only wanted a very minimal amount. Every picture I see of me on my wedding day I think "I am sooo happy with my hair!" Two of my friends and I were bridesmaids in a wedding this past weekend but the hair stylist the bride had coming to her hotel was a lot more expensive than we were hoping to pay. So after a lot of searching we found Bella Brides. Michelle was extremely friendly and very responsive in booking the appointment. She came right to the hotel which was very convenient for us. The prices were by far the best I found in my search and we each had hair styles we loved. Once Michelle arrived to the room, we showed her our dresses (each were slightly different) and some pictures of ideas we had for our hair. She was able to execute flawlessy and tailor the hairstyle to our style of dress. We each received many compliments on our hair. I am extremely disappointed in Bella Brides - I would highly recommend never using them. They are completely unreliable. While it appears that they do good service when they actually show up to the job, they can completely ruin your wedding when they don't show up. That is what happened to me - they never showed up and there were a bunch of apologies from Michelle, but apologies really don't make up for not having your hair and makeup done for the most important day of your life. I really wish I would have read yelp reviews before booking with her. It really would have saved me from an extreme amount of frusteration on my big day. read more

Bella Brides did an amazing job with the hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids for my wedding. They were very easy to get a hold of and very friendly and helpful on the phone. They were in the middle of the price ranges that I was looking at and they were worth every penny. They came to my hotel room, with no travel fees. They were on time and got us done earlier than expected. They were very friendly and comfortable to be around. We had a great time getting ready and I was extremely happy with the results. The booking was easy and Michelle called me the day before my wedding to confirm just as she said she would. She showed up promptly at the appointed time and was both professional and friendly while hairdressing my daughter and I. We showed her what we wanted and she gave us exactly what we wanted. Do NOT book this place.....they're not even around or have a salon in location. Michelle books out of her home in the name of BellaBrides, doesnt return any calls and charges your card the deposit! She will call you back to get your payment info but will not return calls after this. Not professional! Her numbers are to her cell and home but not a salon #. Worst person I have dealt with! Highly recommend. Hair was perfect!!! Great price. Only thing I can say is amazing. Came to my hotel room on the strip. Did not take long to do and the hair spray she uses smells awesome. Michelle was wonderful. She was friendly, professional, and showed up on time and prepared. The make up looked great, she used all MAC products (which I love, and prefer) and she even had my shade of powder and foundation on hand.
