I only went once so it may not be a totally accurate but I did not have a great experience, asked for medium length nails and the guy tried to do very long ones, when I asked for them a bit shorter he complied but they turned out so crooked. I told him which ones looked crooked to me and he sort of tried to fix them but afterwards told me that if I'd just had them done long they would've been straight.. I ended up just straightening them myself when I got home so it was fine but I was definitely bummed out. I've had friends that had good experiences here but unfortunately I think I'll be finding somewhere else to get them done from now on read more

My daughter got her nails done here. They looked ok....but seriously only lasted a couple days. $135.00 for a set of acrylics and a pedicure...really!! Within day one 2 nails broke just opening the fridge. By day two 2 more nails broke! Obviously poor quality or work and cheap product being used!! I was in desperate need for a fill and a fix. They were pretty busy when I walked in but still helped me right away and had my nails done in less than an hour. Very nice people, laid back in a good way. The salon was well kept and beautiful, price was average for nails and they did a great job. I had an amazing gel mani/pedi here. I had a noon appointment and my services began at 12:02pm. How about that for speedy service. The work was fantastic and it took two hours to complete my services. I never felt like they were rushing me or any of the other guests. The atmosphere was perfect and they even offer iPads to use at the pedicure seats. Schedule an appointment, take your headphones, and plan to relax. I called 3 weeks in advance for my appointment and scheduled a manicure and pedicure for the day before my wedding. I told the receptionist I wanted a lot done on my nails and it would be a lengthy appointment since it was for my wedding the next day. Once again making a review for my roommates because she feels too bad to say anything. I have no problem talking down about this place, specifically one technician, Jimmy. Lindsey went with one of her friends to get hair nails done before our trip and was seated with Jimmy. Lindsey's friend had a nice lady that took her time and made sure to ask what she liked, if she could fix anything, etc... While Lindsey spent 10 minutes in her chair(which is way too rushed), Jimmy had spent the majority of time talking to coworkers about price fluctuations of trading cards and not making sure that her nails were 1. Not crooked and 2. The same length as the matching nail. She had to come home and ask for my file to at least file down the 1/6 in of difference in her nails. Because she had to do that, of course her gel polish started lifting so I gave her another top coat to hopefully hold the polish down. Jimmy tends to overbook himself and if that's not true, he couldn't care less about the quality of work he has for clients and just wants them in and out of his chair as soon as possible. I used to see him frequently until the quality of work was mediocre to say the least and I learned how to do my own nails because paying the price for two full sets with Jimmy, I was easily getting better quality, prettier, nails than what Jimmy had ever given me once his work went steeply downhill. Not here to knock the business as a whole, just the certain technician as Lindsey's friend received superb treatment and her nails ended up looking bomb(crazy what happens when you care about clients expectations!). read more

Due to medical reasons, I haven't had a true pedicure in quite some time. After not being happy with the last place I went to, I decided to give Pearl a try. I am so glad I did! You can make appts, but I went as a walk in and was able to be helped right away. The staff were very professional. My tech took extra time to review my feet and exfoliated all of the spots most techs miss on my feet unless pointed out. I will definitely be coming back again! My bridal party made a reservation for 5 of us, and we really enjoyed the clean location, great service, and high quality of our mani/pedis. It was really well-priced too! More impressively the folks there are super sweet and customer-oriented. On the day of my wedding after final setup, I found some pen ink had gotten onto one of my nails. Luckily the salon was in the same neighborhood, so I stopped by to see if I could get a fix. The gal was so nice to just take me for not even 5 minutes! Tonight a friend and I went to Pearl and I was pleasantly surprised. The salon is probably the largest I have ever been in and it was very welcoming. Immediately I noticed that most of the technicians were men. All of the techs spoke English fluently and treated us as if we have been friends forever. Went here for a bridal party today- wish I lived closer so I could come here all the time!!! Organized and did a great job!!!! I had a mani- pedi and the rest of the bridal party did too. Staff was friendly and on time! High quality with the acrylic nails and gel- great with plain polish too. The nails looked ok, the technician I had was very kind, and the atmosphere was great. Service was fitting for the price. That being said, it was very busy so I waited a half hour after my appointment time. Yikes!! One member of the staff (Jimmy- he seemed to be the supervisor) was not only incredibly short with me, but was inappropriately mean to the receptionist!! Gave me a pit in my stomach-- she's definitely not being paid enough for that sort of treatment. Clean salon, friendly staff, had been a happy customer for awhile....until the last manicure/gel I received left me with pulsating pain in my thumb and lasting infection. 2 months out and my nail still does not look healthy.
