An enjoyable bar to meet new friends and get a few drinks All week there's always a crowd to meet you at the door. There's pool tables, sports tvs, darts, music selection and an atm machine here. Cash only place by the way

Bring back golden tea. It's the best game ever and the best reason to come to this place when the rest of the town is beat!

Great beer, good service. Fun place to play some pool with friends. Prices aren't bad and the music is always solid.

I suggest you head towards the houses, away from town, if you can't find a spot. I've been anxious to try this place as the pictures look solid enough and reviewers thus far seem content. My wife and I entered with plans to have beer and apps. We ended up getting Guinness, onion rings, fried calamari and the Cooper's Burger. You can't beat a 22oz Guinness for $8. The prices on their website also match what you'll see inside. Lately I find so many restaurants are charging more than they advertise online. Service was great, friendly and very attentive. I was also surprised to see how well they clean tables between customers. Spray, wipe table, wipe lamp, shakers, etc. It's totally clean for the next customer. There are only 8 or so tables in here, plus bar seating. We enjoyed some comfy seats at a high top table for two. The onion rings were great - crisp and battered nicely so they hold together. While almost a little overcooked, they were still good and better than I had at the last high end steakhouse I went to. The fried calamari was fairly priced and a good portion. It had a light crispness, though bigger pieces would've been nicer. They were mostly small, but certainly a lot of it. The accompanying marinara was good and plentiful. We got the Cooper's Burger cooked medium and it came out medium. It's a simple burger that comes with lettuce and tomato. Some red onion wouldn't been nice. They charge extra for all sorts of stuff you can get on top - fried mushrooms, fried onions, eggs, etc. It also comes with fries, which were good. Overall, it was a nice cozy time. Several middle aged couples ate here that night and a couple small groups. No loud bar crowds as they're all on central avenue. In fact, I was surprised how nice the acoustics were inside. You can hear people at your table no problem, can hear the music inside at the right level and don't hear a lot of background chatter or noise. I'd most certainly return if in the mood for pub food. And ... No credit card fee!

During our past few visits we have sampled seasonal offerings and specials and were delighted with our selections. Portions are large so there's plenty for sharing or leftovers. There is ample seating in both the bar or restaurant side. I usually opt for the bar side because we usually are out before the late night crowd starts to head in. We ordered the big wings for an appetizer in the Carolina bbq but devoured them before I was able to get a photo. They're delicious and fresh and have the perfect amount of sauce to them. I was not super hungry so I just ordered a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. It was huge I felt I kept eating and didn't even make a dent so I brought it home. My boyfriend ordered their special steak sandwich with a side of fries. He said it was cooked to his medium rare temperature and well flavored. The fries are always extra crispy here too! I have been on an espresso martini kick and it truly is one of the best places for one around. Sweet and simply made. My boyfriend ordered his favorite ipa from the alchemist brewing company that they luckily carried here! Parking can be tricky on weekends so we did have to walk a little bit further but not an issue as it was a nice fall evening. Service is great and I do like that they've added to their menu once you're done with your meal if it's busy they can ask for your table.

The place has a very cozy atmosphere. The restaurant has several rooms along with a separate bar. The decor is dark wood with numerous old musical instruments and musical wall hangings. Beginnings: We started out with water, yummy bread and butter! Next, we moved onto Wine and Cocktails: Manhattans, Silver Oak Cabernet and Sauvignon Blanc. Entrees: All the food was excellent! We had chicken piccata, organic salmon and a burger with fries! My salmon had to be one of the best I've ever tasted. Desserts: My BF and I shared a yummy brownie. Some of the others had Irish coffees. Service was good. I think they were a little bit understaffed. Once in a while, we were looking for a server and didn't know what happened him. Looking forward to dining at Louie's again. Reservations are highly recommended. Parking is available in their lot or on the street. 4.5 STARS!!!!!
