The machines are newer, and they have a *gasp* actual human present should anything go awry. The last time I used a laundromat when traveling the washing machine wouldn't open to let me get my clothes. There wasn't anyone on premises, and the phone number posted was worthless. I was told I would have to wait hours before a technician could get there. Trust me, if you're traveling, and need to wash some clothes, you couldn't find a better place. I don't use a laundromat at home, but if I lived here and needed to do laundry this place would absolutely be my choice.

Clothes Quarters does accept quarters. They also use an app and while I appreciate "winning the jackpot" as I convert at $10 to quarters, I'd much rather use an app so that I'm not filling my coin holder with extra coins. The app was easy to register and use on the washer but they don't use it for dryers. I though I was stuck losing $15 in credit. Not to worry - I sent an email inside the app requesting a refund and it was processed within a day or two. The laundromat is clean and tidy. There is free wifi and there are places to sit while you watch your clothes go round and round. They do sell detergent but I had stopped at the Dollar Tree up the street for a big bottle. So i have used this laundry for years to do lake house laundry there. With last owner i had a few…read moretimes things didn't work but was always cleaned daily. May be messy by nights ends but typically was cleaned. If things didn't work were resolved. I have given new owners the benefit of doubt but today i wasted 10$ on dryers that didn't heat. Was not busy in there but was filthy. over 50% of machines out of service and then 50% of the dryers that ran wouldn't heat up. I left with wet laundry after wasting my time and money. I would like to say sorry to pass owners and his staff. This place is 100 x worse; i listened to so many people complain for years about things that were often out of their control. I bet the community wishes the old staff and owner was there still. This owner takes no pride in this place or even attempts to take pride. I get people are messy and disrespectful but it is your job as an owner to check on your business daily and clean. Considering u are right next door that just makes u lazy. Last owner and his staff were miles away and had other jobs but that did what they could for the community to have a place they could do their laundry.

The staff is friendly and helpful There is a vending machine, WiFi, c clean restroom and tables and chairs to sit out while you wait The prices are on the low end for what I usually pay to wash and that is very surprising given how well kept the place is. With young kids at home, I like to do the laundry after they are in bed. Even if I get them to bed by 8, I don't have much time to wash and dry a load of laundry. I had 10 minutes left on the dryer tonight when the 9 o'clock alarm sounded. I jump out of my skin every time I hear that. It is a 15 minute warning that the building will be armed at 9:15. So I spent the next 15 minutes trying to cover my ears and remove/fold laundry. Anyway, I would give it 5 stars if it stayed open a little later, or at least let those who are inside already finish up, and definitely make the alarm system much less dramatic, and quieter.
