I have had health issues since having a couple of strokes and one of the things that affect me is my short term memory. Thankfully I'd always gotten automated reminder texts in addition to appointment cards...until recently. I'd ended up in the hospital and upon my release ended up having to go BACK two days later thanks to Covid-19 and then ended up under quarantine (the first time was due to my ongoing issues). My appointment was during this time..and I did not get a reminder. My account was charged $50. I called and was told by the guy at the desk in a rather rude manner that the automated texts are a "courtesy" and that they were staying open despite the stay at home order. I was then transferred to the billing department and was told that the money would be refunded within 3-5 business days. Well it wasn't and thanks to all this I'm overdrawn on my account with no money coming in thanks to the current situation. I called today and got the answering machine. #1, I don't appreciate being lied to about the refund. #2, I really don't like the way I was talked to when I called...arrogant with a complete lack of compassion. Not the first time the guy was like that with me either. The shame of all this is the fact that people who come here do so because they are struggling with things internally. This is the LAST thing any client needs. The crazy part is, the last time I was here I saw another client getting into it with someone at the desk about a similar situation. I should've taken the hint. If referred here, run far away. Edit -Spoke with them a little bit ago and seems to be getting taken care of. Just wish it had never gotten to this point in the first place

Finally after getting with Dr. Pedraza I realized I had not been on the right medication and I was just being pushed along for years with no medical care and attention. Every appointment is always the same, she will always find out how I'm doing, and talk about any changes or needs. I never feel like I'm just having medication pushed on me, I don't feel like I'm in and out and my questions haven't been answered, she really cares for her patients. Her office is efficient and always makes sure I'm taken care of.

Ryan, Wanda, Katelyn, Jen .... and many others are truly amazing. The counselor's actually listen to you and your process groups are therapeutic IF YOU ALLOW THEM TO BE. I would lash out, misbehave, get into fights, etc. I was genuinely ready to just cut everything short. I felt like it would save everyone the trouble. It was a dark place. It was Clear Lake Kids Psychiatry that actually listened and communicated with me to revise and correct my diagnoses, thereby also correcting my medications. They gave me the hope that I hadn't realized I had given up on. If you're looking for somewhere with great professionalism as well as amazing bedside manner to help your child, this is definitely the place.

Rob and his team of therapists did an excellent job of getting both of us back on track and better. My therapy lasted a few weeks and ended about 18 months ago. My wife's therapy just started and is ongoing. The front office staff communicates well and the PT staff does an excellent job with the balance of pushing you to do well during your therapy but not so far that you feel like you've gone too far. Bottom line - An easy five-star review. I highly recommend them if you ever need physical therapy.

I never wait more than 10 minutes when I go in office for an appointment. During the pandemic we did phone appointments which was safe and convenient. The only thing I have to say remotely negative is well, if you're looking for a therapist, maybe find a psychologist as Dr. Ly isn't that however, he will listen if you have serious concerns or issues. As far a psychiatrist go, and I've seen my fair share, he's a good doctor.

She also helped me understand why my brain misfires like it does which is why I struggle with my mental health. She listens to me and talks out next steps with me so I understand and know what to expect. She's straight forward and matter of fact. So if you're looking for someone to coddle you, she's not the one. She takes your mental health seriously. Her office manager Cat is also matter of fact and to the point. She's not one for small talk or pleasantries but she knows what she's doing and has a great response time to emails! This was one of the first things Dawn did, and then was able to lower my brother's medication, which is helping with tremors and weight gain, while keeping my brother's bipolar symptoms in check. She definitely knows her business and listens to all of our concerns. She is definitely giving my brother the optimal solution for his mental issues and providing full services including therapy during our sessions. Usually, psychiatrist just ask about whether the medications are working and then rush you out of the office. Not Dawn, she really cares about my brother's overall mental health and gives him strategies to manage daily life in addition to the medications.
