We made reservations for our party of 6 (4 out of town guests with us): to hopefully sit outside. We were so fortunate to be seated at our favorite table with an incredible view of the lake. The six of us shared 6 appetizers and one entree. Everything was delicious! We especially loved the come-back of the peel and eat shrimp. The appetizers are all so creative and interesting. Great spot on the lake with a beauty patio area to enjoy the nice weather. Nice courtesy boat docks for guests, making easy access to the restaurant. Service was great and the "Lime Coconut" cocktails are Amazing!! We added huckleberries to our pitcher. I had the Thai Basil and Caulifower and it was deelicious. The riced cauliflower with nice sized pieces of basil, chopped peanuts, spicy Fresno Chiles, sweet picked cucumbers, over a bed of brown rice. Perfect blend of sweet, salty, sour, spicy, and savory. The fish and chips had 4 pieces of fish and some of the best fries in the area. The batter on them makes them crisp and flavorful. We dined outside on a beautiful June evening. The live music was in the background and did not blare or disturb our conversation. The selection of foods was diverse as was the wine list and cocktail selections. The restaurant used local businesses for their breads, coffee, and other ingredients. We enjoyed a pasta primavera, fish and chips, and rib eye. While the beef was a little overcooked, both presentation and flavor were very good. We ordered desserts with two spoons and everyone got plenty! The view from the back patio was beautiful. The wait staff was attentive without being overbearing and the service was prompt. I will start with the food was amazing. Our waitress was great. However the Hostest was less than acceptable. She started off the evening by insulting my friend upon check in. We did have a reservation but she was extremely unprofessional. We were early and decided to have a drink at the bar before dinner. The drinks were amazing and the bar staff was great. We sat outside under the trees waiting for our table. My friend was paged so we went back to the hostess station. She saw us approaching and left to seat other people. However, after standing there for 3-4 minutes I decided to see what happened to her. She was standing in the bar looking at her iPad. She saw me and stated oh yeah I guess I texted you and walk back to the her station where my friends and wife were standing and made the same remark to them. We were seated and things were good until just before our dinner arrived and she came out and moved the table behind us and that in turn moved the umbrella at that table and left us in direct sunlight. I stated that you just moved our shade and she was extremely rude stating you have your own umbrella and she had to move things around for a large party. Although when she moved tables she actually put them directly in front of the stairway that is an egress point for the deck. If she had moved both tables to the North then we and tables to our side would have still had shade. So we ate our dinner in direct sunlight while the walkway with no tables were shaded because of her bad decision. So after dinner we asked to speak to the manager to express our concerns about the hostess. Well I guess the hostess is not only the manager but she stated she is the owner. Not sure she took the feedback well and made excuses that were so off the wall that I could not believe what she was saying. Oh I was just joking with your friend and it was a big party so they needed more room. We were the only table in the middle row on the deck that was in full sunlight. So needless to say I'm not sure we will be back due to her poor attitude. At least apologize for your behavior and learn from your mistakes. Again it's a shame that her attitude overshadowed the other staffs amazing job of making our friends anniversary dinner special. And again the food and drinks were amazing, which is the only reason we may go back. read more

After waiting weeks upon weeks to hear something back from the establishment and never hearing anything I am now posting about our experience. We went for a special lunch on July 30 which was a Sunday (it was actually our 19-year-old's birthday, our oldest daughter her best friend/sister was in town. We had driven over 1.5 hours one way) we waited 40 minutes to get a drink order placed. At that time we were told that the bartender was overwhelmed by taking care of all the drinks of everyone on the beach. We then had a party of 10 that next to us their order was taken, their drinks were given to them. We finally received our drinks. The server at that point (maybe sensing that we were upset) asked me "Are you irritated?" Shocked at how she responded to the situation especially as myself being a person who's in customer service for many years. When I told her yes she said "have you ever been here on a Sunday?" As if I should've just expected it. After that our order was finally taken. By this time the large party next to us had already been served their drinks and food. About 30 minutes later we received our appetizers. When we finally received our food which was two hours later & my food which had allergy needs were incorrect. And by this time we were over it! I never wound up being able to eat. I contacted the restaurant immediately asking for a call back and over again and was never contacted to make any sort of remedy or apology. We will not not attend nor will we be recommending this restaurant. read more

Must have been an off night as they were out of the duck, the pork and the wine we ordered! Nonetheless, we made do with what was available and had no regrets. Was pleasantly delighted this evening at our dining experience at Pearls. Took our out of town family and evening we ordered was delicious! I had the mushroom ravioli and it was seriously hard to describe it was soooo good. Also the arugula salad had oranges, pine it's strawberries and house bread croutons lightly dressed w a lemon vinegtette.Delicious! Had an excellent meal and great service. The shrimp Ceviche and Yellowtail Crudo were amazing. The Caesar salad was well prepared and the wild king salmon add on was cooked to perfection. Note that the salmon was $15 less for the same portion as the entree. Highly recommend this place! read more

Unfortunately a local company is lost with trying to make something bigger than what's needed. This building is from the 40s and has endless memories. My grandmother square danced here as a youth. They are overbooking the reservations and taking all walk-ins your food time will be at least 45 minutes and the food cost is more trendy than it is applicable to the region. Newly opened with best spot on the lake! Great menu items. The butternut squash ravioli was very good! We sat on the deck to enjoy the spectacular LPO And mountain views. The bugs flying around us were a little annoying. Might need to invest in some citronella candles or something equivelant. But overall was a very nice evening on the lake. Sailed to this restaurant for dinner and had a wonderful meal. We have eaten at the owners restaurant at the Pack River and wanted to see what he was doing since buying this place. The food was excellent and the service very good. We had the melon & prosciutto, tuna poke appetizers and the seafood risotto and finished with the peach cobbler. Like others have mentioned it's a smaller menu; but that's ok if everything is done as well as ours was. Will definitely be going back. read more

The buser came out once to get the dirty dishes. Disappeared. Came out a few minutes later to wipe it down. Disappeared. Came out five minutes later to put new cutlery in place. We have been coming to this location for years. The food was always fantastic and the service was great. We showed up this year and now it's a new place called Pearls. We put in our order and 20 minutes later our server comes to the table to tell us they were out of the pasta that two of our guests ordered. It takes 20 minutes to realize you are out of a dish? Our guests then replaced their orders with the shrimp. When the food came out the wedge salad was warm, the shrimp was over cooked and tough and the flavor combinations were bizarre to say the least. The servers solution was to reduce the two guests meals who didn't get the pasta they ordered by $2 each. The most painful part was getting a bill for $160 for all of the trouble and sub par food mentioned above. Save yourself the trouble and go to Sandpoint or the Idaho Club for dinner. read more

Have been here multiple times this summer with guests who were all impressed and happy with their meals. The chef creates very tasty and interesting dishes, such as the fried green tomatoes in andouille sausage gravy (yum!!) beautiful salads, soups and burgers made to order.
