We just sold our house so my realtor scheduled the inspection and septic pump with Kunua Drilling as they are who they have used in the past for their clients. I allowed him to do so. When they completed the service and presented me with a bill for $1,075 ($400 for inspection and $675 for pumping). I was shocked by the amount. The technician told me they have had to raise prices due to the increase in disposal costs and fuel prices. I expressed my unhappiness with the price but wrote out the check and sent them on their way. Shame on me for not getting a price quote right!? Out of curiosity I called Williams Sceptic Service and asked them for their pricing for the same service. $375 for pumping and $300 for inspection. I would have saved $400 if I would have went with Williams. I am surprised that Kunau Drilling charges nearly 40% more than their competitors. Buyer beware! Shop around for pricing. It could save you hundreds!!!
