I've been ordering peaches every summer for many years from Pearson Farms. I am from upstate NY so these Georgia peaches are absolutely delicious! Customer service has always been excellent. Had a problem one time over the years and within a few days I had a new box of fresh peaches at my door. This year I pre-ordered a box for my mom's bday. They even included a nice birthday greeting card. I've also ordered multiple varieties of their pecans and they're wonderful too. I've never visited the farm, but I've heard it's a great place. So, I look forward to going there someday to see for myself. I love a good farm visit. I'm about to order another box of peaches after I submit this review. Make sure you do too. This was a cool spot with a nice little "showroom" and an enjoyable covered porch for eating peach ice cream with peach cobbler. We stopped by heading north from Florida to visit family, and we are so glad that we did. It was a great pit stop to take a break and grab a snack. The ice cream and cobbler was tasty and refreshing! When we arrived, there was only 1 other person there - but in the next 20 minutes, a dozen people came in and out walking out with boxes of peaches. Our peaches ripened perfectly and were REALLY good - very juicy with a good balance of sweet and tart. We will definitely stop by again - and look forward to trying another peach variety from Pearson. read more

Last summer I went to one of the farmers markets in Dekalb which was canceled due to a storm. The vendor I was after was selling boxes of Peaches. I wanted them fresh not store bought. They turned out to be from Pearson Farm. A 25 lbs box. And it lasted all weekend during a summer retreat in Lake Noris. They were the best peaches any one of us ever had. So this year, I scraped and scraped to try to locate the name again until I did. While I haven't visited the farm in Roberta, they sell at a lot of farmers markets around Atlanta, but will also sell online --- ship boxes in smaller sizes direct throughout the summer season, which is exactly what I did. I got a 6 week subscription for $250 (no shipping) of 9 lbs boxes. That's still a lot of peaches. And there are even more options in even smaller boxes. You really can't go wrong. These peaches are nothing like you've tasted at Kroger or Publix. Hands down this is going to be a mouth watering summer tradition. read more

Got addicted to the perfect peaches from Pearson Farms at farmers markets around Atlanta, so I decided to take a day trip down to the farm less than 2 hours drive from Atlanta to check it out. While they don't run tours out to the orchard, there are fresh picked peaches laid out on tables so they you can choose your own (fill a bag for $9). There are also plums, nectarines, pecans, preserves and peach & pecan flavored soft serve ice cream and baked goods. I of course got the peach soft serve on warm peach cobbler - and enjoyed the treats on classic rocking chairs. Also got a peach lemonade to go. All the staff were lovely and informative. It was great to learn more about the varietals and when they are available during the season. They were also selling new ones they're playing around with, labeled "experimental peaches". Fun! All in all, a nice afternoon activity that I would do again next chance I get. read more

I made it a goal to find Georgia peaches when I visited Atlanta. I happened to find them at the Grant park farmers market. The peaches were 7 dollars for a bag that contained around 7 peaches. That is expensive to me. I wish the peaches were by weight, but 1 dollar per peach is a little steep. Considering my bag of peaches were pre-picked, I had some peaches that were smaller than others. Since I was traveling 3 states away, by the time I got home, the peaches were all bruised and battered. The flavor of the peaches when ripe, were fruity and juicy. However, over half of my peaches were so bruised they could not be eaten. I would visit this farm again, but it would make sure my peaches were in a box instead of a paper bag. read more

I have always loved peaches and know about the differences in taste, texture and quality. Then I received a box of peaches from Pearson Farm, sent by my employer as a thank you gift, and I finished the box in about three days. They taste absolutely fantastic, and even though I haven't been to the farm myself I know I will order from them next time I need to send a gift. In fact I am more likely to send someone a gift because those peaches were abnormally good. If any of their other products have the same dedication to quality and taste as their peaches then I'll happily buy there in the future. I should have looked up the date of the last review before ordering from this company. Super expensive and very inferior product. Got peaches from them for $40 for 13 peaches. 2 were rotten, and 3 were hard as a rock. The others were edible but very small. For $3 per peach I can find them twice that size and better taste at my local Whole Foods Store. I contacted their customer service, not a word back. Have always wanted fresh Georgia peaches. Received a box as a birthday gift and I was SO Excited! Honestly they weren't any better than what I can buy in the local grocery store here in New England for a lot less money A couple of them were blemished with bruises, one had a cut in it and a few were hard as rocks. Overall they were very disappointing. I didn't have the heart to tell the person that sent them to me that they weren't very good. I ventured down to Pearson Farm last week while I had some family in from California. I've purchased their peaches at farmers' markets in Atlanta and thought they were amazing. It is quite a drive down from the city, but the peaches were really cheap ($1/lb) and they have really delicious peach ice cream and cobbler. In fact, we went to Lane Southern Orchards as well and decided that Pearson's ice cream was a smidge better. However, there is not a ton to see here. When you walk in, you'll get an eyeful of the packing process and then there's a few tables and a counter setup where you buy the ice cream, etc. I wouldn't drive all the way down from Atlanta just for this. We fit in Pearson and Lane and it was a good trip. If you're in the area, definitely stop by. But more realistically for ATLiens, if you see them at farmers market, definitely go for their peaches. read more

When one visits Georgia during peach season, it seems almost blasphemous to not visit peach farms and thus we headed out in the heat to visit Pearson Farms! We did have quite a drive out to the farm, but once we made it - it was all worth it. Park out front on the dirt - there was parking on both sides of the main building and in front. When you walk in the front door, the first thing that greets you is the giant conveyor belt of peaches. We watched them sort and box peaches for awhile, before we got distracted by the delicious looking peach cobbler and peach ice cream. What was absolutely fantastic about Pearson in my opinion, is that this was more of a local looking farm. The main "viewing" room was very rustic and only had a few table and chairs to sit. Luckily it wasn't very busy when we went. No AC so it was on the hotter side inside, but man, that peach cobbler and ice cream made it all worth it! $4 for a HUGE peach cobbler with a giant helping of peach ice cream on top. We got 3 between the six people there and we demolished all three in short order. I only wish we could have brought some home with us. We also bought peaches ($1 a pound!!), peach jelly and some flavored nuts. The peaches were fantastic once they had ripened up (about a day later).
