Clean, calm, quiet non-stimulating environment. I was immediately greeted by a kind woman, which helped calm my nerves that day. I arrived an hour early, and was given the opportunity to take my exam right away instead of waiting until my scheduled test time. All of the employees were kind and patient, and didn't add onto the stress and nerves that I was already feeling that day. The main testing room was great; lighting was just perfect, no distractions, and I wasn't able to see anyone/anything in my peripherals. They also provided ear plugs and noise-cancelling headphones. I called a week before my exam, asking some questions regarding my accommodations. Helen patiently answered my questions and told me not to worry, and I immediately felt relieved. Luckily, Helen was there the day I took my exam. Seeing that I was not familiar with the computer system, she walked me through the first step and made sure I could start my exam on time. I took an exam at this Pearson location, and it was a great experience. There is a parking lot with ample parking. I went on a Saturday so there was plenty of parking available by the entrance. The building was well kept and the suite was easy to find. I felt safe inside. When I checked in I was greeted and assisted by two friendly staff members who provided great customer service. When I finished my exam I was assisted by two different staff members who were also friendly and provided great customer service. Being greeted by smiling faces helped reduce my test anxiety and I'm glad I took my exam at this location! I highly recommend it! I have a few friends that will be taking exams soon, and I will refer them here. read more

Great place to take state tests! All of the people were very nice! They are strict about everything. You get your palm scanned in and out and are recorded on video and audio. The workers make it very easy and fast to get in! They have lockers to lock up all your stuff. I'm taking more tests here soon! It's very convenient! read more

Staff was great, but the reason I am writing this review is because of the testing environment. The office contains a main testing room and a small one person side room next to the main room. I was placed in the small one person side room, however for the first hour of my test I could hear the office next door. The office next door was loud enough that I could listen to their conversation and constant laughing even with the 'noise cancelling' headphones. Not sure if the people in the main testing room were able to hear the office next door, but there was no opportunity to address this while taking the exam. read more

Very nice staff! The place is clean and efficient. You receive a number once you arrive and they call a number at a time. I waited a max time of 15 mins. They scan your hands and take your pic. They also have lockers to store your items for your convenience. I suggest you don't wear any necklaces or any type of bracelets because they will make you remove them and store them in your locker. Came here to take my NCLEX. Very friendly office staff in a very clean office. They operate like a well-oiled machine, running you through your pre-test checks very smoothly. I was anxious about the test, so it was nice to be greeted by a smiling, friendly face at the front desk! The building is in a nice part of town with tons of free parking. Came here for a test and I have to say that I am pleased with the staff's professionalism and courtesy. The door opens promptly at 8:00AM and you grab a number ticket and wait to be called. Depending on the type of test you get, you receive a set of rules to read and get your palm scanned and everything. The facility discourages bringing any study material, so you're better off with leaving it in your car. No cell phones! They will put it in a zip bag and will cut it out open for you when you're done with the test. There are lockers available with keys. Very convenient. Feel free to bring any snacks, water bottle, purse, etc. However, they do have water available at the site as well - it really depends on you. Depending on your exam, they may give you a white board for you to take notes or do calculations. They do not give you an eraser. When you're done with the board, you raise your hand and your proctor will give you another one. The one that I had was pretty big, somewhat manuscript-like so I didn't have a problem with just using the same one throughout my whole test. There are ear plugs (like the cheap 99 cent ones) available for those who are extremely sensitive to their surroundings. However, the testing environment is pretty quiet. As for breaks, there is a schedule break after 2 hours (depending on your exam). However, you can take as many breaks as you'd like. The proctors are understanding and won't judge you for that. Besides, you're taking a test - so you're bound to take breaks! Every time you leave for a break, the proctor will sign you out of the computer (but the timed test is still running) and will palm scan you every time you leave and come back. They also tell you that you will be video and audio recorded for testing integrity purposes. That's pretty standard, I think. Overall, this is a great place to take a test offered by Pearson Vue. It's located in a new business/medical building: clean and spacious with nice bathrooms. The testing site can be a bit tricky to find, but it's right behind the Merchant building. I highly recommend driving to this place before your test to check it out. Parking is available in the front and off to the side. Watch out for the spots that say "Reserved Parking." Closest place to Irvine to take the GMAT. Came in a hour early and wasn't packed so got to take my test earlier. Place says they open the doors at 7:30 so you could come as early then if you wanted to get it over with (just come a hour earlier imo). Parking is free, staff are super nice and the building had solid AC (colder than movie theaters). read more

I came here to take my NCLEX this year. Pearson Professional Center is located in a large complex. I don't have anything negative to say about the center. Parking was easy, and free, just right outside the building. The employees were nice. The bathrooms inside the main office building were clean and well maintained. I'm grateful I won't have to come here again to retake the exam, lol, but it was a smooth experience. read more

I have been here three times for CSET exams and everyone was very kind. Just don't forget your ID or you'll be turned away! One time that happened to me but the woman in the front desk thankfully let me come back with my ID on the same day and I was still able to test! Not sure if I can actually say I was a fan of going here to take an exam, but the staff was professional and nice for the most part. Things to know: 1. There are lockers in the waiting room, so you don't have to leave your wallet and cell phone in the car. You wont be able to take anything with you into the room, except your ID and anything specifically allowed by your test. They did not allow me to bring my earplugs in, but offered me some of their supplied earplugs (They seamed like they would be as comfy as sticking an eraser in my ear, so I didn't use them) 2. Know of, or ask about specific rules for your test. Lots of people where there to take one type of test that the center was familiar with the rules of. My test was not as popular. I wanted to confirm break allowances with the center, mine had different rules so they looked them up. 3. The scratch paper they provide is a "dry erase" note pad and pen (fine point, not fat like some dry erase). Being left handed I was worried this might prove difficult to work with. Luckily the note pad/pen did not smudge as much as I feared, and didn't impact my ability to write out problems. Other parts of my experience: I arrived 25 minutes early, and was 7th to arrive. The testing center accommodates about 15 test takers at a time. When you get there, you take a number, are called up in order to check in. I provided my ID, was fingerprinted, palm scanned, and photographed. Each time I left the room for a break the proctor logged me out of the computer and my photo was displayed on the screen. I was palm scanned out, and back in after each break. Overall not a bad experience, for something we don't really have a choice on. read more

This location is alright. Kind of a far drive. For some reason, I thought it was closer to my parents house. Anyway, my first time here, I wasn't able to do things that I was allowed to do at other locations/dates. The second time around, I was able to. I think the person who helped me the first time needs to get retrained! Minus 1 star for that incident. Overall, my experience here for my exams were great. read more

The location is conveniently located off the 405 freeway. The bathroom is relatively modern, has multiple stalls, and is conveniently located just outside the test center. This is very important since you have a very limited break time while you take a test. The staff was courteous. The only problem was that during my visit there was a person being trained. This caused my break time check in / check out to be extra long, causing me to loose a couple of minutes on the next section test. I understand that people need to be trained, and that it's hard to determine who is taking a break vs who is just starting test, but perhaps the training could be done during nights and weekend or off hours via mock test sessions. When you are taking a 3+ hour test and you have only 8 minutes to eat a snack, check in / check out, drink water, go relieve yourself, and stretch out your legs, every precious minute counts. Other than the delays during my break time, everything went smoothly. I would give this location 5 stars if it was not due to training delays that ocurred during my visit. read more
