No summer trip is complete for our family without a trip to Peat's Cider Social! We love that the owner honors the old school aesthetic while modernizing elements in the bar and the patio. A great time was had by all--our kids enjoyed watermelon slushies while hubby and I sampled Peat's incredible and unique ciders. The bartenders are always friendly and do a great job explaining the flavor profiles of their ciders. The ciders are well balanced and they have a great to-go fridge with cans of cider and snacks. After you bowl a couple rounds head out to the patio for a game of cornhole and good vibes. The mural is beautiful and space is well thought out!

Absolutely wonderful cider and kind service. They have a couple pinball machines and Ms.Pac-Man with plenty of space to sit and enjoy cider at the bar or a table or booth. This is located inside a bowling alley so it would be a wonderful place to go with the family or on a date and enjoy some great cider.

This is a new place that opened by my parents summer house and I'm super glad that it did! It's such a fun place which combines ciders with bowling. It's one of the few places that is appropriate for the whole family. You pay by the hour for bowling so if have over four people, it's a really great deal. The shoes are complementary as well! The bowling screen was a little old, but it worked reliably so no complaints here. They also had bumpers for my niece and nephew. We also got a few different ciders to try. They were out of the one that I wanted to try, but the Secret Garden was an awesome mix. All the adults liked their cider so that's a huge plus. I've had some really bad cider and this was NOT it. There is also a nice outdoor area that has food trucks and a little bookstore today. It's nice and large! We went a little early so we were able to bowl and drink, but it got a bit crowded around 3pm. I'm hoping this place sticks around because it's the perfect option for a rainy day. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area

We finally made our way to Peat's Cider Social after having read about its opening months ago and wow- we can't wait to go back! We each tried 2 ciders during our time there and they were all unique and delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and everything was noticeably clean. Bowling lanes were in spectacular condition! We loved that they updated the bar area to a fun retro style and maintained the original vintage fixtures throughout. We decided to join their lifetime membership which includes swag in addition to discounts for cider, bowling, etc. It's worth noting that their snack selection is limited but you are welcome to bring your own food or order delivery directly. Thanks for a great time- will be returning many times over with a group!

First off let's talk about how this is a Cider girl's dream bar at a bowling alley. I not do I only have more than 1 choice of drink (thank goodness I don't have to think about another angry orchard), but it is an absolute game changer for me to have options of drinks and they all be something I would enjoy. They also serve drinks in real glasses, and not plastic cups, which is a positive in my books. The bowling lanes are very nostalgic, but I mean that in a very good way. You can tell this place has a staff that takes pride in their work. The staff is attentive & the facilities were in really good condition. You can tell it has not really had a face lift since probably the 90's but it didn't feel like I walked into a bowling alley that still operated like one of the 90's. We went on a weekend evening, so we saw plenty of other groups of adults around our age. We did not see too many families when we went, but I think that would only be due to the time that we played. I think this would be a great spots for families though, due to their lane/table set up. The lanes are about a couple of steps down from the tables, so it separates your game from any food/drink chaos that could occur. If you have a free day, I would definitely encourage you to stop by and play a few games!

Finally got the chance to come out to Peat's Cidar Social. Bowling prices are based on the hour for up to 6 people. You can bring in outside food, so we went into the Cidar lounge area to get a drink and sit down. My husband and I each got a drink and samples were made available to us since we had never been to Peat's Cidar Social nor tried any of their drinks that are available elsewhere. I would highly recommend coming here if you love to bowl and enjoy good drinks. We didn't do bowling tonight, but it was $20 an hour (though high traffic times it's more expensive). I had been to this bowling alley when it was still Lakeshore Lanes and they do look updated and the overall vibe is really nice. I will definitely be back.

This is a very cool place. We stopped here on a recent trip to Michigan, and had a great time. We were able to bring our dog onto the patio, and she enjoyed it as well. We order a cider flight, and the ciders were very good. The bar staff was super nice and educational. We did not bowl, but both the bowling and arcade looked fun. If we lived closer, we would definitely come back here more often. I look forward to seeing the patio at night one day because it looked like the string lights would look very cool. I'd 100% recommend going here.

    flight of 9 ciders

Exceeded my expectations! I went with an old friend to catch up and it was perfect. We're both mediocre bowlers and laughed a lot as we played. While bowling isn't something I know much about, I do have a deeper interest in cider. The flight of 9 ciders showed off the range of Peat's offerings and though I had favorites, I liked every single one of them.

Bowling and cider!? Yes, please! This place has all the charm of an old-school bowling ally! We loved how clean it feels and the entire set up. $30 an hour for a lane. We went with kids, lanes 1-6 have bumper options . What a wonderful experience and excellent cider options, too. Loved the Secret Garden rose cider.

We had a delightful visit on a warm summer afternoon to Peat's. Their outdoor areas is great for large parties and they have plenty of space for playing games, bowling, or just hanging out. Highly recommend!

It's amazing, I can't wait for the bowling alley to open up. I had their flight of ciders and they were all delicious. I'm from Indiana and would go out of my way every time I come to Michigan to have some of their cider and hopefully their bowling.

    Fun bathroom sign!

100/10 ciders. My husband and I stopped in here after a very disappointing visit to River Saint Joe's, and this place did NOT spark that emotion, only joy! We tried 4 different ciders, The Apothecary, The Good Witch, The Petal Pusher, and The Skipper. All were way better than we hoped, and the bartender was amazing!' Thanks for saving our brewery tour!! This was unexpected, but amazing!

We had to wait about 30 minutes for a bowling lane to free up. There was a bar where we grabbed a few drinks while we waited. Plenty of open seating. Staff was friendly, and went around keeping tables clean between patrons. The bowling lanes themselves seemed to have been recently updated. However, the TVs must have been from the 2010s because most of them had display issues which made the scoring hard to see. Thankfully, each lane had also a touch screen display that showed the scores of each player so you did not have to rely on the overhead TV. The bowling shoes were run down as you would expect from a bowling alley. We also ordered some nachos (decent) and fried pickles (very salty) at the food counter. Overall, a decent experience.

When confronted for their extremely over oiled lanes, oiled to the point where it was physically impossible to get any spin on the ball, the staff stated that the lanes were so oily because they where just oiled today. This is not an excuse. Lanes being freshly oiled should not be this slippery. The balls were so gross that they could not even be held. Multiple people in our group and on the lanes around us dropped the balls on their approach even when held perfectly. DONT COME HERE!
