We went on a Sunday evening and were seated immediately. Unfortunately the food and drinks were only ok. My husband has celiacs and they were very accommodating and knowledgeable. He had the burger which was good and we got the spinach artichoke dip which was also good. I got the ahi tuna as my main which was not a good choice even though it was recommended by the server. I got the guava margarita and my husband got the coconut mojito. Perhaps I just ordered wrong with that ahi tuna but I would have expected better food for what we paid. But the atmosphere and service were top notch so we may come back if we vacation in St Joseph again. But I'd definitely get a steak or burger -- not seafood -- next time.

The Billy Bird sandwich has turkey, tacos, American cheese, and their burger sauce on sourdough bread. While this was our first time here, and we didn't get any drinks since we got takeout, we had been here when it was still North Shore Inn. They were owned by North Pier Brewing Company across the street, so this restaurant has changed a bit when it comes to the menu but the ownership has stayed the same and the beers they offer are made by their own brand. Their cocktail menu has updated as well and you can take home their beer in 4pk can form if you'd like. Food was fantastic and I will definitely be looking forward to dining in one day to get the full experience. The poutine, bbq pork rinds, and soft pretzel all sound fantastic on the appetizer menu so all of those are going to be reasons to keep going back. I'll also be interested in trying the pickled gimlet and the Great Lakes transfusion (both cocktails). We shall be back.
