Right from the moment we met I felt good about the place. Ms. Ash was warm and welcoming, her space was bright and had so many fun things to do, and I knew my daughter would get tons of outdoor time. They do yoga, are going to plant a garden, all kinds of cool things. And the enrollment packet is very thorough in getting to know your child and your family, which I appreciate. I think this is going to be a great fit for my daughter.

So far we have been enjoying ourselves. We spend most of the time at the pool. The pool hasn't ever been crowded but we haven't been on the weekends. Every quarter til, they blow the whistle for "adult only swim". That is cool and makes the kids take a break and also I good time to leave if you can't get your kids away. We also signed up for swim lessons. I'm not a huge fan of the swim program this far. No opportunity to make up missed lesson and they are short staffed. We probably won't continue once school starts. The instructor seems to not be able to engage all kids in the group lesson and my kid did his own thing the entire 30mins. I attended a cycling class and that was fun. They have a "summer concert series" theme going on. Childcare is available and convenient. I love this option. There is a subway on site which we have used multiple times when we don't pack snacks for the pool. Over all, we love it here!

It's obvious that the flicker in our life is closer to ending than starting a new life at birth. It's very obvious that the y is more focused on the dollar because they know kids bring in the money why the why cannot cater to the elderly is beyond me. We don't ask for much room when we get together and play. The seniors is always the ones that have to give up their time and space when the weather acts up. I would like to suggest that the why doesn't take on any more children than they can handle without expecting other people to give up their time at the y. Furthermore I hope that a lot of seniors start complaining about how we are pushed aside because of bad management let's start complaining seniors.

Our son (7mo now) has been going since he was 3mo old and I have peace of mind knowing he's well cared for in the infant room. They don't just put your baby in a bouncer and call it a day. They interact with the babies and give them age appropriate activities to make sure they're hitting their milestones and giving them love and attention. My daughter has loved all of her teachers and even grown a special bond with one of the teachers she's gotten to have in her infant room and her toddler room. It's the sweetest! The toddler room seems so fun for our new 2 year old with lots of arts and crafts and learning activities (she learned how to count to five in what seemed like a week)! They also have a Spanish class every day which I love. The new gym they recently added on is really nice for the kids during gym time- it's just like an elementary size school gym so lots of room for kids to get rid of energy. The building is well kept and they've been doing upgrades as needed- they just got new floors. The staff has always been very kind and helpful! Krista the director has been amazing! We get weekly lesson plans and a monthly newsletter with everything that'll be happening. I'm so happy my babies are safe and happy here, we love it!

And to me hearing state is coming does not surprise me. They completely changed their character for when state is there or is coming. I've seen teachers yell at kids for minor things, teachers on there phones not doing their job because they will try to say something about them having the daycare app on there phone. I've literally have seen there phones clear as day or ask what they are watching and they will tell me. The Boss is so money hungry that when they have after school events all the money goes back in her pockets. So she can take month-long vacations every year and etc. I could go on and on about this place.

I've got a few points to address so stick with me here…read more Last day: I came early without warning right around when kids were supposed to go down for nap (2 1/2 year old daughter). When I came in, one kid was screaming on the other side and all the kids were awake looking over at him while one or two of the 'teachers' were yelling at them to lay down or go to sleep. Actually yelled at the kids. (I get occasionally needing to raise your voice but there was no care or love or compassion coming from them). Before I walked back to get my daughter, I'd stepped into the office by the front door to speak to Krissie the manager or owner or whatever title and told her it would be our last day before I saw any of this. Reason for last day: (context) I'm separating from my husband and was told by several of the staff that they have never seen my husband and wouldn't let him take my daughter or would at least try to call me if he tried to take her. (He never picks her up) The next day, my husband did something strange that set off my anxiety and I was afraid he'd try to take her. I messaged them through their portal where they assured me that legally they couldn't do what they told me to my face they would.... A day or two prior. Time continues after last day: I get another charge to my account and email with a request for it to be resolved as I'd already told them we weren't coming back. No response from them. Time continues another week later: I get notification of another charge to my account and when I email with a request for it to be resolved, Krissie (the one I told first in the office that we wouldn't be returning) respond saying per the 'contract' I needed to give two weeks notice before no longer attending and I'm sure the now 345 charge as apposed to the weekly 275 fee probably has a 'late fee' attached to it. This is important because when I scheduled my walk through tour, I specifically asked Kelsey if we needed to give any kind of notice before ending service and she said no. There's also no electronic copy with time stamp provided to evaluate or compare to verify. Bullet points of major problems: -inconsistent communication -I witnessed on more than one occasion varying degrees of yelling at the kids. -poor hygiene (smells pretty bad pretty regularly and often they would let kids use the bathroom by themselves but didn't clean it or didn't provide them with toilet paper) -not looking out for the parent either if they are going to wait for you to walk into a pitfall of two weeks of additional charges and what I'm assuming is some kind of late fee without attendance after verbal communication before they are willing to address the issue. - has anyone else noticed there's like...4 or 5 different names or businesses or childcare's associated with this address that are supposed to be active? Not sure where to take that piece of information but I'm sure I'll find out. Reach back out to me if you're seeing what I'm seeing.
