During my massage, the therapist performed what felt like a breast examination without my knowledge or consent. I had recently undergone breast reduction surgery, and instead of asking for permission or explaining what she was doing, she began touching and examining my surgical scars. I was extremely uncomfortable and shocked. I reported the incident to management, and they acknowledged my concerns. I was informed that this type of examination was outside the therapist's scope of practice and was not covered under the consent I signed before my appointment. While I appreciate that my complaint was taken seriously, it does not change the fact that the experience left me feeling violated and unsafe. Trust is everything when you're in such a vulnerable setting, and that trust was broken. I hope Massage Envy takes stronger steps to ensure therapists clearly communicate with clients, obtain consent before touching sensitive areas, and prevent this from happening to anyone else. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I cannot recommend this location.

I paid for a Steam & Sauna Bliss plan and ended up paying for services I couldn't actually use…read more When my plan was canceled by them unexpectedly, I immediately reached out to ask whether I could use my remaining sessions or receive a refund. I was told I could still use the remaining sessions and just needed to email to schedule appointments. I then emailed multiple times with specific dates and times I was available, including requests for weekday and weekend appointments. Those emails were ignored. After waiting and following up repeatedly, I still couldn't get a simple answer about availability. There was no online booking option, and the only method I was given (email) didn't work because the business stopped responding. At that point, I requested a $100 refund for the unused services. That request was also ignored. What makes this especially frustrating is that I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was trying to use sessions I had already paid for. The business told me I could use them, but then failed to respond when I attempted to schedule. If a business cancels a plan, tells a customer they can still use the remaining services, and then doesn't respond to scheduling requests or refund requests, that's effectively taking a customer's money without providing the service. Poor communication, no accountability, and no resolution. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering purchasing a package or membership think twice unless they're comfortable chasing the business down to receive services they've already paid for.
