Man, who doesn't love a cute little village filled with shops? I won't hide that I'm proud to say I do. I mean, a place like Peddler's Village has something for everyone and it's definitely worth a return trip, which is just what my wife and I did after having visited a few years prior. You see, we were spending a few nights in nearby New Hope/Lambertville which makes a trip to PV almost a must as it's only about 10 minutes from those areas. Now if you haven't been here before, think of it like an Old Mistick Village/Kitchen Kettle Village/Smithville Shoppes kind of area (told you I like villages). What's great here though are plenty of shops you won't find elsewhere, at least not in those aforementioned shop areas. There's some crossover, but mostly the options here are unique and honestly pretty vast. What's really nice about Peddler's is the setup as the stores encompass a few greenery areas, but there are also some along a few streets and a whole other small shop area on the other side of one of these roads. Despite having been here prior, my wife and I still spent several hours going in and out of many stores and finding plenty of goodies. Those goods varied from house decor, to spices, to oils and honeys, to a few small gifts for family. Even better than the shopping might be the food and drink options. You'll find a few places to actually sit and have a meal as well as a winery (with some great vino), a brewery (shout out to Free Will!), a coffee/drink shop (Mama Hawks FTW), and a lot more. On top of that, Peddler's does a lot of seasonal celebrations of sorts. Our first trip was in the Fall and so the area was lined with tons of different scarecrows all made by different people. This recent trip was right after Easter and there was "artwork" created using Peeps marshmallows. Both referenced plenty of pop culture favorites and it was a nice added bonus to the experience. Overall, Peddler's Village is a gem of a spot. You're bound to find something worthy of buying and you'll definitely be here longer than you probably intended. Only downside is the place can get crowded, especially on a nice weekend day, so if you can find the time to head over early or during the week, make it happen. I know I'll be back again at some point whenever we find ourselves not too far away, because you can't go wrong with a cute village, am I right? read more

Peddler's Village in Bucks County is a cute place that feels like a small storybook town. Very beautiful lightings and decorations with quick snack bites vendor and local mom pop restaurants and shopping stores! Our family visit on a Saturday 6pm and the place was packed but filled with joyful faces. The lightings are throughout the village so make sure your phone or cameras are charged and ready to take pictures. I love their various gift shops and boutiques. You find all sorts of things for gift giving. There's public restrooms. Public free parking is in various locations. I highly recommend visiting here but not on Saturdays especially evenings. Peddler's Village is a perfect way to spend a day or evening. It looks like something out of a children's story, the gift shops, bars, and restaurants. I absolutely love this place, it's so easy to navigate. Not too big and overwhelming and get big enough free really large variety of stores. Any kind of gift shop you can think of is here. Clothing, cooking where, decorations, specialty stores. There's also plenty of alcohol to enjoy as well, including a winery, brewery, and distillery. At the winery, they allow you to take your drink on the go, and you could shop with a glass of wine in your hand, just wonderful! So many restaurants also embedded in this beautiful place. So many options for a snack or for eating. I really recommend going during the holiday season. They decorate this place and it's just so joyous to walk through. We love it! My husband heard about Peddler's Village through a friend, so we made a day trip to Lahaska, Pennsylvania to check it out. The surrounding area is completely quiet and feels like the middle of nowhere, but inside the village is a different story. There were throngs of twinkling lights, happy crowds of people (likely because it was during the holidays season), and businesses doing brisk business. There are lots of small shops and some outdoor kiosks selling desserts, cookies, and hot cider. The dessert and cider lines were long, but staff seemed to be working efficiently to move the lines along. Across the street, there are even more shops like bookstores, coffee shops, and such. Restaurants that are in the center of Peddler's Village can get extremely crowded, especially during the holiday season. We arrived around dinner time and several restaurants we visited quoted wait times of up to two hours. We got lucky by finding seats at the bar of Cock & Bull, but I'd suggest either making reservations or plan on having a very or late dinner. Parking right by Peddler's Village proper is quite limited, but we saw lots of cars pulling into a dark church's parking lot and followed suit. read more

I came here for the GingerBread Display and what a cute area! There are so many shops and little eateries to make a day of it. There are stores with clothing, art, jewelry, candles, and more. I had learned about peddler's village from a video on instagram and wanted to visit and had visited after the holidays in December. It's a cute little Christmas village with tons of shops. I literally compared this place to Gilmore Girls numerous times when I was there. Tons of cute shops and specialty food places from a honey shop, jerky shop, oil shop, and some restaurants. My wife and I visited Peddler's Village for a day trip, and we are so glad that we did. We visited on a beautiful spring day, on a Friday. While still busy, crowds were small and we were able to have a great experience. During the week is the time to go if you can! The village is incredible. It is easy to navigate and has something for every interest. The hidden paths, quaint shops, and beautiful scenery are wonderful. Book shops, coffee shops, handmade items, eateries, pubs, and many specialities are all available. We loved the dog shops and the German shop. All of the stores we visited had kind, patient, and helpful service. This was something we kept remarking on. Prices were on par with what you would expect, and paired with the experience, we left happy. Definitely recommended! read more

My niece was in from Florida and asked to do something Christmasy! So, Peddler's Village it was! First of all, it truly is a village with different areas and parking in different areas. There are tons of stores and tents with items for sale, a bit on the pricey side but in the spirit of Christmas, you can be tempted to splurge. One thing I noticed about the regulars is that they alll had thermoses with their hot beverages. It made total sense because with all the walking and sightseeing, your beverage is bound to get cold on a brisk day. By far the spirt of Christmas absolutely lives there. The effort that is put in all of the beautiful Xmas lights and displays is just magnificent. The countless trees twinkled throughout all the grounds and the light tunnel was the icing on the cake! We had an amazing time marveling at everything and I definitely will be going back to see more of what they have to offer. read more

It's been on my bucket list to see the Peeps Easter display. It was pretty sweet. So this is the best of the school kids designs. Creativity at its finest. There was a FRIENDS themed Peep display, Quite a few Taylor Swift and Barbie themed Peeps. It's cute and it's free. Great value. (there is a wonderful gift shop in the visitor center. This place is a zoo, but so fun! We came in the evening on Sunday and there were tons of people, crossing guards directing traffic (slowly), and of course the lights! Visually, this place was a success right from the start. It's so cute seeing all the buildings decked out and then walking to the middle for all the trees. Gorgeous. We did some light holiday shopping. I'd love to try out hot chocolate or one of the restaurants next time, but this was a satisfying visit for a couple of adults with small kids. read more

I recently took my first day trip from Philadelphia to Peddler's Village in Lahaska, PA, about an hour's ride away. I'd heard about the marketplace on a previous trip to New Hope, but never ventured out there until now. All in all, what a great place to visit if you enjoy attractions with plenty of unique shops. Peddler's Village is much like a small village, with more than 60 unique and kitschy specialty shops, food, clothing, books, wine-tasting and more. The entire place is very quaint, with beautifully designed grounds and enticing wares of all sorts. The shops here are on the expensive side, so bargains are hard to find, but if you enjoy spending hours upon hours of perusing unique items, Peddler's Village is well worth a visit. LAHAKSA, PA: an extraordinarily beautiful spot in scenic Pennsylvania, Peddler's Village is an outdoor shopping, dining, and event destination and leashed dogs are allowed! Family friendly and fun, you can spend the whole day exploring all the unique shops and even come for a festival! We visited during their "Spring Fun Fest'' and there is something special almost every weekend. Most shops allow the pups, some are clearly marked if they do not, and some of them you just have to ask. "Dogs are allowed on the Village grounds, but must always be on leashes, and owners are required to pick up after their pets. If you are visiting the Doylestown, New Hope, Lambertville, and Frenchtown, area, put this on your list of things to do and plan on spending at least a few hours. Over the years, my wife and I have been here at least six or seven times and most recently with some friends on New Year's Eve day since we were spending the night in Doylestown, only 15 minutes away. The Village was beautifully decorated. The Village has clothing stores, a kitchen store, gift shops, home decor stores, a dog shop, a wine tasting, and the knockers and knobs store which has been there forever. You'll have to visit to know what I am talking about. That is just some of them. Of course, the bakeries, ice cream shops, candy stores, and restaurants exist as well. Our My wife and I always spend lots of money at the Kitchen store. There is plenty of parking, options for restrooms, and the Village is handicap accessible. This is not an Outlet center. Prices are very reasonable and the staff within the stores are always friendly. Like I said, put this on your "to do" list and get your credit card out of the cobwebs. read more

They have some of the most interesting stores and we truly enjoy the shopping experience. During the Holidays they always have some festival and this visit was no different. Always something exciting going on in peddler's village! All year they have amazing attractions and put on great events. Fire and ice was awesome this year but the food trucks always go up in price. I will say there are tons of types of shops for everyone and somehow there's always something new to find. Everyone is always friendly and welcoming. The only reason they won't get 5 stars is because the prices are pretty steep and some of the stores are truly ridiculous when it comes to that matter. Not to mention almost everyone using payment options that asks for tips on top of their gross pricing despite the fact that they're not offering services to tip for? Most shops are certainly aimed towards upper class clientele and there aren't many shops that average people can afford gifts or memories from. read more

Always something going on in the village, I have coming here since I was a child many years ago and it has never changed. ( I can't say that about the abandoned Outlet stores across the street sadly). Earls is one of my favorite outdoor dining destinations, their oysters are always fresh and delicious. Buttonwood is a great lunch place for sandwiches and light entrees. The vinegar and olive oil shops is one of my faves! The Italian market has amazing imported food, and the cupcake bakery is phenomenal! Many gluten free options there! But don't leave before you stop in the chocolate shop, wow! read more

I started coming here with family to see the Christmas decorations and always enjoyed walking around at night to see all the lights. Their festivals run the gamut from a scarecrow contest for Halloween to a strawberry festival in the summer. It's always a fun area to walk around, but it can get pretty crowded while the shops are open. It's a great place to wander for a few hours and explore some unique items for purchase, including a mix of local or artisan made products. We've visited Peddler's Village for over 20 years now. Our favorite times of year to visit are for the scarecrow festival or strawberry festival, but we've come during Christmastime as well. It can be very crowded, so make your lunch reservations in advance OR out your name in at one of the restaurants as soon as you get there. (Last weekend of the scarecrow fest 2023, all restaurants had over an hour wait time.) Lots of people bring their dogs, so if you're thinking of bringing yours, just be mindful your pup will not be the only one by a long shot. Shops are always changing, but we love the popcorn place, jerky place, kitchen store, candy store, and of course the soap shop! read more

What do Colonial Williamsburg and Peddler's Village have in common? Well, both are largely reconstructions of "colonial era" villages, both are basically in the countryside, both are tourist destinations, including a hotel on site, and both are decently well done. Yes, folks, Colonial Williamsburg, except for the Governor's House, is a reconstruction built in the 50s. I'm surprised at how often people don't know that. But I digress... I had heard many times about Peddler's Village over the years, noticing also that the Patriarch's Senior Center regularly offered bus trips there, and thought, hm, some day I should go there and check it out. Lion and I visited the weekend before Christmas, taking the chance to stretch our legs after a long day of driving. Despite it being a very busy weekend we had no trouble parking and even with the crowds never felt it was 'too much'. The stores were all decorated as was the interior common area. It was daytime so no lights were on but we could see it would be quite pretty at night. The shops were, for the most part, pretty much what we'd expect from a tourist shopping destination. Unique were the German store, which had beautiful clocks and steins, a 'man cave' store that had mostly design documents for rooms and a fixtures store that reminded me of Restoration Hardware. There are a few restaurants, a candy store and a popcorn place for food. Given that it was a crowded day we opted to go elsewhere in the area to eat. Overall I think they've done a nice job and it's an enjoyable day. I can't say I'd make a special trip to go there, however if I were in the area again I would stop again. read more

Peddlers has become a typical tourist trap. The many festivals draw people from far and wide. If you've never been there before I recommend, however just be prepared for the crowds. read more
