A pediatrician's office is supposed to be a partner for families throughout childhood, but the care and attitude here have completely changed since the practice was bought out. What used to feel supportive now feels cold, disorganized, and dismissive. Phone calls are confusing and unhelpful. The online system is clunky. Simple requests like filling out a camp form turned into wasted hours because of their rigid policies and errors. The staff no longer guide or support parents. Instead, you have to guide them through what should be their job. The final straw was my son's recent appointment. Scheduled for 2:10, I left work early, pulled him out of school, fought through construction and parking, and walked in only a couple of minutes later. Their own staff delays checking me in pushed us over their supposed cutoff. Instead of compassion or an apology, I was met with indifference and told to reschedule. No acknowledgment of the effort or disruption to my family. Just a cold refusal. After years of loyalty, I am disgusted by how little they seem to care about kids and families now. I used to recommend this office to everyone. Today, I would strongly warn others to look elsewhere.

I have zero access to any of my child's vaccinations, growth charts, and future appointments. I have been back and forth for weeks with the help desk who has been zero help. It's so frustrating.

We interviewed Dr. Tyson to be my daughters doctor and decided to go with him. We had a few appointments with him after she was born then he was out of the office for quite some time. Apparently he no longer takes patients at the Robinson location and only works out of the Mt. Lebanon location. Wish they would've relayed that message to me at the beginning because I live closer to Mt. Lebo. We began to see Dr. Range while Dr. Tyson went MIA. She is great and we've really taken a liking to her so we still go to the Robinson location. The Mt. Lebanon office is open on Saturdays, which is great for unexpected doctor visits.

Lebanon office had a very "homey" feel but it looked a little dingy honestly. I took one of my children to the office last week and the office is remarkably cleaner and looks more organized. We had a nurse named Amber take us back and I can't say enough good things about her. She was so sweet and upbeat. We were concerned about strep so he needed to have that awful test done. He started getting panicky but she was so patient and gentle with him-kneeling down in front of him and explaining things in a way he could understand. Definitely recommend this practice.

I didn't realize you'd end up seeing many different doctors within one practice, I just assumed…read moreyou'd have the same doctor over and over. It bothered me at first, but now I kind of like it for multiple reasons. Doctors are human beings too, so often their personality will show. I like the idea of skipping around to the different doctors in this practice because you hear many different opinions. Basically, I feel like it will even itself out that they'll say, you have a healthy child! But also, there could be some useful tips and tricks certain doctors can give you. I do have my favorites I will say. I like Dr. Grudziak, she's no-nonsense but very logical. Dr. Aracri is the main doctor in this practice. He's also a nice guy and very to the point, which I appreciate. I also like the nurse practitioner Chelsea Raffa. I feel like she's the most caring and sympathetic of them all. So if you're looking for someone warm, she's your gal. You can get in pretty quickly too considering there's so many doctors. The 24 hour hotline is slightly confusing if you call after business hours. It's usually for an emergency and the doctors who call you back aren't very helpful. Usually they'll just say, go to the ER. I wish there was a better system in place... But that's the state of our healthcare now unfortunately. I will also give a shout-out to all the nurses, who have all been very friendly and kind to my son. Considering they're the ones with the hard job of administering shots, they are SUPER quick and sometimes I blink and miss it... Until my son starts crying of course! But I appreciate that they don't mess around. Never a long wait to see the doctors either. So overall I have been very happy with my experience with them!

What was normal? I didn't know. When my son was born prematurely, Dr. Aracri was very supportive and helpful in assisting us with getting our baby sleeping at a better schedule. However, when I told him I thought my son had acid reflux during our first monthly visit, he dismissed it. As a result, I was not able to breastfeed my baby because by the time he was given medicine to help him, after the three weeks of took to work, my baby wouldn't feed anymore. Because our son was premature, I anticipated that he might be delayed. This was something I expected to be helped with, but I can honestly say I did this completely on my own. They never brought up interventions; it was me just guessing my way through this the best way that I could. They gave me a flier with phone numbers to a place I could call in Beaver. Well, I live in Allegheny County, so once again, I was on my own. I set up everything (OT and PT, while also finding companies that would help my son for free) without any help and support that I really needed. He was also diagnosed with eczema. We were given tons of treatment recommendations, including steroids, which made everything far worse. Now that we're at a new pediatrician, they have checked his skin and said the reason nothing worked for three years is because he doesn't have eczema at all; he has keratosis pilaris. We had an especially alarming situation when my son was 2.5 years old. For privacy reasons, I don't want to go into too many details, but they missed something HUGE that my husband ended up discovering. This huge medical problem had to be dealt with by surgery at Children's Hospital, but the doctor who was at this appointment when my husband mentioned it acted like it was no big deal! I was so stunned that this had been missed at so many appointments that I didn't even know what to say. I felt like I had failed my child by bringing him here in the first place. We had already decided to leave but we're trying to find a new place when we ended up back there for strep throat. Dr. Zervos actually asked ME what the most recent antibiotic he had been on. I had no idea! For some reason, they had not transferred the file from when we had gone to a Children's Hospital branch the last time. As a result, they gave him the wrong prescription, which we gave him, then had to cal them back. Suddenly, they had the file and called in the correct antibiotic. Please don't bring your children here. They are not thorough and do the bare minimum. Your kids deserve better and you deserve the peace of mind that comes with having people really pay attention to your child.
