My son needed to extract 4 adult premolar teeth, I went to two other oral surgeons for consult (the other oral surgeons not only insisted on doing general anesthesia but also wouldn't listen to any of my concerns). On the other hand, Dr. Aaron was open-minded and willing to listen to our concerns. he got my 12-year-old in on an appointment in two days, and using only local anesthesia, he extracted all 4 teeth within 15 minutes. My son didn't even feel anything and next day he's fine without any swelling. Dr. Aaron is AMAZING to say the least!! I am willing to drive 40 minutes to have my boy see him! I've been to so many places where the hygienist is trying to have a convo when they are 5 fingers deep in your mouth so I was grateful that he was warm and welcoming prior to the cleaning. During the cleaning he was super gentle and checked in often to see if needed any breaks. He was great! Dr. Smith, the dentist, was personable, kind and patient! I didn't have any major concerns or questions but he still took the time to share insight into common dental things that may pop up in pregnancy for me to be mindful of or watch out for. His energy is very calm and nice! He also didn't make me feel bad for slacking on getting to the dentist regularly and just recommended a proper timeline moving forward. The overall office is not the most modern set up. It's got a bit of old school vibes which I personally prefer. Unfortunately, I was unable to secure an appointment due to a mistake on the part of the office. This was quite disheartening, especially considering the long-standing history my children have had with this office and their ortho office. All 3 of my children have been patients of this office. While I understand that dental offices can be very busy, especially ones that specialize in pediatric care, I felt that the situation could have been handled better. "Andrea", the person who answered the phone was extremely rude and unwilling to even entertain the idea that her computer could have been wrong (she stated that my child hadn't been seen since 2018, and I know for a fact that she had been cleaning in late 2022 because I sat outside the office. She told me that my daughter would have to find another office as, at 16 - she is considered an adult (?!?!?). Andrea placed me on terminal hold and after what seemed like forever, I finally hung up. She did not attempt to contact me or reach out. Clearly, the level of care in both offices has gone severely downhill as my son has had his braces on since October of 2018. They completely abandoned my son during Covid, and then told him to find an ortho at college, dragging his treatment out for 5 YEARS. (2 years longer than he needed). They refused to see him for cleanings, despite having botched his care (malpractice). His braces are still on!!! Today was the final push I needed to realize that despite my efforts to work with this office and remembering how they were pre- Covid, they are simply not the best place for my children, or anyone else's. Missing records, attempts to abandon patients, zero communication. I hope my feedback will be taken as an opportunity for the clinic to improve its process and care, ensuring a better experience for other families but I do not see it happening.

When I call to make appointments, I wait an average of 10 minutes to speak with an employee. My children and I waited for 50 minutes to be seen in April 2021. Our appointment was at 10:00, and we arrived earlier than the appointment time. I politely asked for an update at 10:25 and 10:40. An employee finally came to get my children for their appointments at 10:50. (We had been waiting in the car due to limited seating inside for Covid-19 protocol.) Of the three people that I spoke with during the wait, only one was apologetic or acknowledged the long wait time past our scheduled appointment time. I called that afternoon to cancel all future appointments and deactivate our account. I mentioned that we did not have a good experience that morning and plan to move our children to a different practice. The employee handling the deactivation did not ask for me to explain or elaborate on my experience. She did not apologize for a poor experience. She simply told me that my account was no longer active and to have a nice day. My family will no longer give business to this company as they do not value the individual person.

I was very confused because I had no idea what he was referring to, and I told him that I hadn't been rude. He responded with something along the lines of, "Come on, I know you were." Shortly after, a staff member came into the room and explained that they had mistaken me for a different parent. Dr. Z did apologize, and I understand that mistakes happen, but the interaction added to the overall feeling that the environment was not very warm or welcoming. Dr. Z is, without fail, so positive, encouraging, gentle and kind that my children (and me too!) are excited to go to the dentist each 6 months. Both of my younger kids had behaviors that impacted their teeth (ie. Thumb sucking) and he gave us advice, coached them through it, and even sent presents when they "met their goals". All around fabulous - every child should be so lucky to have such a great dentist!

A dental visit can already be stressful for kids, and the tone set by management did not help at all.
